Despite having lost, Crz stared at Shane in both anger and fear.
Crz was angry to have been defeated so easily, that he had underestimated Shane, and that he had disappointed his entire race.
Yet, Crz's fear didn't originate from Shane alone, but more from the fact that a huge snake obeyed his orders.
"A….tamer?" He could only wonder in surprise loudly before Shane retracted his sword while the darkness spears dispersed.
Umbra slithered towards Shane and manifested a small, translucent portal in front of him, through which it disappeared.
Cosmo followed suit, and the crowded area became empty, and only Shane and Crz were left behind.
Shane being a tamer with two strong beasts was something nobody except Miriam, Frer, and Aisha had known, yet, even they couldn't believe how easily the Bikandra had been defeated.
Crz stood up and left the arena without saying anything. He only bowed towards the representative of his race before he resumed his seat amidst his race's assigned chairs.
It was obvious how devastated he must have felt because everyone else could visualize how weird but also humiliating it must have been to fight against Shane and be defeated so easily.
True to his word, Shane had stayed rooted to his spot and hadn't moved even a single inch, a fact he had made clear to his opponent at the start of their small spar, if one could call it that to begin with.
While some out of the several race members in attendance had had a gut feeling that Shane was not to be taken lightly, even before the spar had begun, now it was evident that Shane's strength didn't originate from his mana purity. Instead, his tamed beasts were his combat prowess.
At least, that was what most races were estimating now, and it was only the other humans, Luair, Jasdron, and Fiasr race, who knew better.
They knew that Shane didn't have to rely on his tamed beasts to defeat someone, and all their existence did was increase Shane's combat prowess further.
All the attention was on Shane, but instead of being too proud or full of himself, he walked back to his group and resumed his seat without another word.
Commander Nuyra only nod his head while hiding his astonishment and curiosity before he said,
"I think this demonstrates pretty well that not everyone needs a high mana purity to be a prodigy. Let's not dwell over that and instead pay more attention to how to eliminate the threats surrounding the radiant mountain ring dimension.
This is why we gathered here in the first place and not to make fun of each other's heritage!"
The representatives of the other races nodded their heads, feeling thankful to Commander Nuyra who avoided embarrassing all of them.
Thus, the basic race gathering finally started with the most important topic they had to discuss; the importance of the radiant mountain ring dimension, what the plans of the Miac alliance could be, and the most efficient way to defend, or attack them!
The first point, about the importance of the dimension, was something everyone had the same assumption about.
Either the radiant mountain dimension had dangerous ancient ruins, a dungeon, extremely valuable materials that could only be found in that particular dimension, or something similar.
Without any clues, it was impossible to figure out more and they could only churn out theories all day. As such every race's intelligence department was already skimming through PrimWeb's threads, trying to acquire more intel.
This was easier said than done, thus the next few points had to be paid attention to.
In order to figure out what kind of plans the Miac alliance could have, everyone had to reveal the strength of their shelter, and how confident they were to defend against another Overlord beast tide with multiple Overlords in one tide.
Other than that, the race's strength was also important to determine how exactly they could counter the Miac alliance if they were to use their combined forces to protect their shelters!
In the end, the gathered races had shelters all over the dimension, and they were far apart from each other.
This could be solved by handing out certain permission certificates that allowed chosen races to enter one's shelter.
However, this was something that could work against them too! It was clearly the most efficient way, but at the same time, it was foolish to allow more than two dozen unknown races to enter their shelter.
They didn't know each other after all and there was nobody reassuring their safety!
Shane's situation with the Elus race had been similar, yet, the Empress had been able to reaffirm his importance and that he was someone their race needed, not someone whom they should fear!
After discussing for a long time, the gathered races figured out that it was more difficult to come to a conclusion than expected.
Fortunately, the Miac alliance seemed to be occupied with something, and there were no attacks occurring right now.
Because of that, they had more than enough time to discuss everything and figure out their own plan to counter the Miac alliance.
Shane was still not sure why their own race was so adamant in staying inside the radiant mountain ring dimension, except the assumption that there were ancient ruins, but that was still fine.
At least for now, because nothing bad had happened after the four Overlord beast tide!
There had been a few mishaps at the start of the basic race gathering, but all in all, everything went much smoother than Shane and everyone else expected.
Nevertheless, the issues were difficult to solve in a single day, even more so because there were 24 representatives all of whom wanted to become the leader of their group.
This was one of the biggest issues as the gathered races had roughly the same strength, and nobody was backed by an Intermediate race as was the case with the Miac race.
Shane knew that they had a treaty with the Forest Elves, but they did not have a relationship that allowed them to receive unconditional support from them.
Several days passed and the basic race gathering was doing fine, yet, the pace at which the discussion progressed was slow.
Fortunately, the young prodigies were not required to attend the gathering the whole time, and they could do whatever they wanted to.
The purpose for making the young prodigies attend the gathering was for them to get to know each other, either way.
Not only was it important to know the other party's combat prowess but also how they thought, what they labeled as important, and what they found less important.
To put it simply, the prodigies were supposed to befriend each other and establish a sort of understanding to work together properly.
The young prodigies would most likely fight against the Miac alliance, thus, in order to have the fewest casualties, having great teamwork was essential!
Shane was of the same opinion, but instead of focusing on all the other races, he had continued to refine his physique.
Other than that, he wanted to find more about the neutral planet, and the city they had entered. Thus he had strolled through the streets, only to encounter Juran, who had been doing the same.
The prodigy from the Nasia race was easy to talk to and Shane assumed that it would be great to fight next to him.
It was as if they could tell what the other was thinking which made conversing much easier and comfortable.
Shane and Juran had also sparred with each other, but the Nasia's combat prowess was too high for him. Thus, Shane could only give his best without summoning Umbra or Cosmo.
If he were to rely on them, his own combat prowess wouldn't progress further and he would stagnate! This was not something Shane wanted, and instead, his tamed beasts were supposed to act as a means to empower him further when necessary.
They were bored too, but it was fortunate that he had two tamed beasts which allowed them to play together and give each other company inside the Hidden Paradise.
In the end, a total of 10 days had passed before shocking news reached the basic race gathering!
A dungeon had been found!
