Chapter 65 - 64: Ascension Part 2

After successfully waking her up she said, "Get ready we leave in a few hours. You should get ready to say goodbye to your family."

"Right I'll be ready in a bit. Master why did you go out early for." asked Yun'er

"I went to tell your grandpa to meet us at the main courtyard. Since I left in a rush I had no time for a shower let's go take a quick one." said Yan'er

After about 3 and a half hours Yan'er and Yun'er went ahead a left go the courtyard. They were met by hundreds of sect members and personal. Within the middle a big space was free where presumably the ascension was going to happen.

Once they reached the middle they saw Xiao Tian, Bai Shen, Zhao Meng and Xiao Hong waiting for them.

"Fairy Yu we meet once again." said Xiao Tian

"Indeed, you truly gathered everyone for this event." said Yan'er

"Of course after all it's not often we see these types of things in fact some of us may never see this in our entire lives so how could I allow this enlightening experience to be missed by our sect as a whole." said Xiao Tian

"From what can discern you've seen this process before." said Yan'er

"Indeed I have when my father ascended I was there to witness the event. I was also hoping to catch up with him but as you know I was struck with poison destroying my chances of ever ascending. At least I've gotten some solace in knowing that my granddaughter will be reaching different heights within her life. Ohh one more thing if ever you meet my father please let him meet my granddaughter he'd love to see her. His name is Xiao Long he should be in the Sect Chen'er will go to." said Xiao Tian

"Well I hate to stop you there but it's about time for us to start preparing. Yun'er you should say your goodbyes before we start." said Yan'er

"Mn" - Yun'er

While Yun'er said her goodbyes Yan'er went to the middle of the open space left in the courtyard and summoned Kokorowatari and Yumewatari.

The people seeing her pull out the two katanas couldn't help but gasp. The katanas were both 2 meters long and gave out a domineering aura which made them appreciate them even more.

Once she summoned them she immediately put them in there respective sheaths. Kokorowatari's sheath was black with a golden dragon coiling around it. Yumewatari's sheath was white with a sliver dragon coiling around it.

After finishing her preparation she turned to Yun'er and asked, "Are you ready"

To which she responded, "I am"

"Right then hold on." then she turned to Xiao Tian and said, "It was nice meeting you and don't worry so much with me here she won't be hurt."

"Thanks" said Xiao Tian

After finishing the conversation she released her aura and shot it towards the sky. Once it reached the sky a gate was summoned. The gate which was massive shot light down towards Yan'er location and covered them and tried to pull them up.

"This is where you have to go inside." said Yan'er as she spoke to Yun'er

"Okay" said Yun'er as she disappeared into the Tower

Xiao Tian and the others didn't take this as something happening as they knew she had a treasure to hide Yun'er.

Looking at the sky Yan'er started to fly up at full speed towards the gate. Seeing as there wasn't any resistance she sped up even more.

Once inside she was met by the void. Thanks to her clothes her body was protected from the winds which raged on within this void. For what seemed like hours of traveling she was finally met with an exit.
