4 Chapter 4: At the Royal House

So Hyang is very devasted because her dress is now dirty by rain water. It is a present from her father too. And it is a day she have interview for a job, and is she going to be late for it because of this stupid driver? She gets a little more cheer up when she gets Bunny's message on her phone.

"Fighting Hyangi ah...I am sure you can do it."

She sighs, "I'm ok , Bunny"

She is a little late for the interview. The manager who has to interview her is still in good mood.

He asks,

"So you applied a job as someone who look after our historical items. Do you have any experience before?".

"No, not really," answered So Hyang, "but I do major in historical items learning and have some practice in it"

She continue , " but if I am given a chance for the experience, I am sure I can definitely do the job perfectly, because it is a job I am yearning for."

The manager looks at her determined bright eyes for a second, then continue to ask several more questions.

After that, he finally says,

"Ok, miss So Hyang, we will give you the results in a week in either way."

So Hyang a little sad to not get accepted right away. However, she do get the job finally.

It is one sunny afternoon, (the same day that So Hyang knows she is accepted to her new job.)

It is in the café in the middle of the city of Seoul. The princes are having lunch. They are Prince Siwan and Prince Seokjin then.

The Prince Seokjin is saying,

"Are you not afraid that people will recognise you?"

To this the elder one answers,

"Well, not really. I should be move around freely in my country sometimes."

Prince Seokjin nods.

He then changes the subject..

"Umm... big brother, what do you think about your fiance?"

The elder one thinks for then reply,

"Umm..I just met her once at the dinner. And she just sits there like a doll"

"I am not even sure how this marriage would work. I don't like why they still arranging these traditional things in this century."

"I don't like arrange marriage, I mean both my parents are determined already. I don't even know her. What would you do if you were me?"

Prince Seokjin thinks seriously for a second, and then says

" Umm...if I were you I will definetly go and get to know her already... and see if we are meant to be. If we can get along able to love each other as the elders have wished it will be perfect. But if we are not meant to be, of course I will think of the way to get rid of it. Arrange marriage should not be very bad. Besides, you don't have anyone right now. So why not just get to know her. You might like her. I think she is very pretty."

Prince Siwan looks at his brother for while..and says,

"You have seen her already?"

Prince Seokjin gets a little shy and and says..

"Yes, after that dinner party when I arrived home."

Prince Siwan grins,

"I wish they arrange for you instead of me."

"Oh big brother, come on," the younger one replies, "why are you so hesitated. Is that because you still have feelings for Si Young. She's already married. So, give yourself chances."

"At least Si Young and I have been known to each other for more than a decade," says the elder.

"But it's all over."..

Prince Siwan looks at his younger brother.

Prince Seokjin feels a little sorry.

"Umm...I'm sorry big brother."

The Queen, Prince Siwan's mother has also has feelings that her son might not like his bride to be. So she says to her husband, in the evening in their private bedroom.

"Your grace," she begins, "Chae Soo Bin is really a gentle child. But I'm afraid that she is not the type Siwan would be interested in. I think our son prefer a sharper lady."

Her husband is still silent.

So she continues,

"Why don't we invite Miss Chae Soo Bin to come and stay here even before their engagement ceremony. So that she can learn about the rules here earlier. We can also try to make the two attract to each other."

After a while, the King says,

"That's not a bad idea."

So the next Ms Mi Mi, Bunny's aunt arrive at her niece home for the news.

"Yes, her majesty's the Queen, wants you go and stays at their home even before the marriage. "

Bunny and her family are a bit surprised but have to agree to the royal terms.

At last, the royal car has arrived to pick Ms Mi Mi back to the royal house. She has to prepare a lot of things because she has to go and live with her niece as a guardian at there as she has friendly relation with the royal. Bunny's mother is also invited but she has to look after their household so she cannot go.

Bunny walks with her aunt to their house door where the car is waiting in front. She sees the pink haired again at the driver seat. When he sees her, he smiles and wave at her. But she gets shy and looks away. Finally her says goodbye and gets on the car.

Bunny looks as the car is driven away.

On the car, Ms Mi Mi is saying,

"Your grace, you can just let anyone at the royal house to pick me up if Ye Jung is busy."

"It's ok lady. Many drivers are assigned with several jobs. Ye Jung is back in hometown for personal matters. I happened to arrive early. So I just ask to do the job. Nobody at there really care what I do actually. Besides, seeing the other royal relations is my pleasure."

Bunny has arrived to her new home. It is royal vacation house. Her room is really with all the modern wooden furniture. Her aunt's room is next to hers.

The two maids that had accompanied her when she felt sick at the royal is helping with her unpacking things. They are in fact assigned to look after her now. The three laughs and talk a lot: about beauty, fashion, kdramas, other gossips and so on. The two maids then happen say something cool about the driver Ye Jung's pink hair. And Bunny comments ,

"Pink haired driver is handsome"

Then she begins to lose in her mind. If not she will hear the two maids are laughing...."Did she say Ye Jung is handsome...lol...

"I think he needs several stages of plastic surgery to get that and he can't anyway"

"Oh he actually is ok...with hair smooth hair color and funny friendly smiles.. "

"Maybe our miss just like that kind of features"

Bunny sees prince Siwan sometimes at the royal house but they hardly speak. She finds prince Seokjin a little more often whom she still assume is the pink haired driver (maybe because he wears normal clothes). To her, he seems really a bubble type. She wants to get to know about somehow. But she is too shy to speak to him. And she also thinks he acts too free for a royal employee. Then he happen to grab one of the important item/the old traditional small pocket radio that is very old, at the living which she assume belong to the royal family. So she goes to him and says, "Did the prince asks you to bring it to him."

"No, I just need it today. So I'm picking it up"

"That's very rude to take someone else watch like that, besides you are getting salary here"

Prince Seokjin is thinking. ."Is she thinking I am employee here..and think I am stealing this.....what if I just play along with her"

He speaks out .."ahh...miss I'm really sorry, please don't tell this to anyone, my family is in financial crisis ...I don't mean to do it". He even find himself kneeling in front of her. She is in the state of not knowing what to do so she just takes the radio from him and says "You can go now". She feels her cheeks are now burning. He just look a little blank. But then smiles and says..."Thank you, your grace"

He then disappointingly walk out of the room.

(Remark: royal vacational house/royal house where the royal family spends their private times. The royal palace is another they go to when they had business, and also I am not native in English so I might mistake in language sometimes)
