Rex put down the matter of baby beast and his bloodline aside for now

Actually normal people especially those with common bloodlines cannot sense each other's bloodline at all, its something unique to strong bloodline holders and they could only tell if someone had the same bloodline as them but not the relation between them

Rex first made a small house for temporary residence and started to make plans for the future development of the base

The first thing Rex decided to make was Solar Reactor, this is the blueprint he made a long time ago but didn't have an opportunity to use it

Rex got the idea to make Solar Reactor after he thought about Solar Cells

Solar Reactor absorbs the heat energy from the sun and allows others to use it but it does not convert the heat energy into other forms of energy and because of that it can't store the heat energy for too long

Rex made it for doing metal smelting, he wants to make a new batch of working bot which are more capable than the previous one but whenever he makes any kind of machinery he needs to process metal himself which takes time and effort

He wants to make a big base so he can't do all the things with his own hands that's why he decided to make machines first which are capable of doing this kind of works, for example, metal processing factories

At first, Rex wanted to use the heat energy from under planet's crust because it's inexhaustible but then he realized he didn't have enough money and resources to make something like that right now

He also thought of using the water from the spirit pond to make money but mother beast takes special care of that place and baby beast also likes the water in the pond very much moreover he only drinks water from that pond when Rex gave him normal water he didn't even bother to swallow it and spat it out

'So that's what it feels to raise a rich second generation kid at home' Rex thought when he saw that

In all these days the baby beast followed Rex everywhere and with baby beast mother beast also reluctantly followed Rex, although he didn't like being followed by such a powerful beast because it makes him slightly uneasy but he didn't had any options either it wasn't like he could stop her anyway

He made six Solar Reactors, three Metal Processing Factories and 100 Working Bot v2.0

Working Bot 2.0 is an upgraded version of Working Bot v1.0 they are faster, stronger and more durable compared to the previous version their battle strength goes up to Human Venerable peak stage but they are not made for battles that's why their true potential can only be shown by working

In the start, Rex made a total of 120 Working Bot v2.0 but…

Rex looked at the mother beast who was staring back at him like she was asking… what do you want?

One of her heads on the left side barfed and a crushed metal ball came out of her mouth, mother beast quickly reacted and put one of her claw on it to hide it she then averted her gaze from Rex and acted like nothing happened

Mother beast has eaten many of his puppets not because she liked it but because of jealousy, she thought with time the baby beast will become familiar with her and like her, it did happened just as Rex said but.. the baby beast never left the side of Rex moreover he now looked more attached to him than before

Rex also started to make a big castle near the center of the region.. which means near the spirit pond

It was Rex's main base above the ground the castle was an excellent residence with fortified defense but its main worth was in its underground facility, Rex had decided to make the control room of the whole base there but he stooped that plan in midway because of lack of resources hence the castle is still incomplete

Rex spent few more days to make some arrays for defense and offense near Solar Reactors and other factories although he knew mother beast was there to take care of the things in case anything happens it doesn't hurt to be more cautious

As for why she would do that because right now it looked like all those things doesn't just belong to Rex but baby beast too, the baby beast followed Rex to those places for so long that now it had a habit to just roam around those place and he now takes the incomplete castle as his home and Rex's room as his own room

Rex was sitting near a bonfire and was grilling meat in the fire

'I am now bored of eating just grilled meat I need to find a good cook very soon' Rex thought as he looked at the baby beast fighting a black striped cat

The cat beast looked small and weak but its cultivation base was as same as the baby beast

The cat beast was brought here by mother beast to train baby beast in fighting, the cat beast didn't have high intelligence it was only using its battle instincts to fight

Monster beast and spirit beast can not use any kind of martial arts or sword technique when fighting because of their body structure that's why they develop their own fighting style by experience

Although baby beast was superior in terms of brute strength but the cat beast clearly surpassed him in battle experience

Having the strength and the ability to use it are two wholly different things

Right now the baby beast was covered in injuries while the cat beast only had few bite marks on its body

Rex and mother beast both didn't like to see the baby beast in such condition but if they stopped him right now then he won't learn to fight at all

The baby beast was staring at the cat beast in anger, the cat beast saw it as an opportunity because if a beast consumed by anger while being in battle then it's likely to lose its reasoning so the cat beast sprinted forwards to attack the baby beast but suddenly the baby beast opened all his three mouths and spurt out a light green flame at the cat beast

The cat beast was taken by surprise so it was engulfed in flames before it could even dodge

This flame was same as the flame of mother beast although its vitality draining effect was decreased by several folds but its high temperature was still there

The cat beast had low resistance against fire element attacks so he died by damage over time

After it died the baby beast dug out the spirit core from its charred body and ran to Rex with the core in its mouth

Baby beast placed the core in front of Rex then looked at the meat with saliva dripping from his three mouths

Mother beast started at Rex

The baby beast went to Rex after defeating the beast not her and top of that he is giving the spirit core he earned to Rex

Rex smiled awkwardly, the baby beast had shared many of the spirit core he earned in last month with him

Rex was also thick skinned when it came to earning status point so he ignored mother beast's stare and absorbed the spirit core

'Little guy I will pay you back later on' Rex thought as he gave a big piece of gripped meat to the baby beast and an HP potion

The baby beast happily took it and started to gobble on it

After lunch, Rex told the mother beast that he is leaving for a while

When she heard it her level of happiness was at 9th heaven but she still maintained her calm expression and nodded

It was not that easy to communicate using Telepathy because she had never used a practical language like human language to communicate

Rex could guess her thoughts but he choose to ignore it

He also told baby beast about it

After living with the baby beast for a whole month Rex could barely communicate with him, in fact the baby beast was pretty intelligent but it's just that he was a newborn child

When the baby beast learned that Rex was leaving he also wanted to tag along but Rex refused he knew it wasn't a good idea to take a beast with him to the city considering the current situation of Golden Bird Continent especially when he already knew that a certain someone who is as big as an airplane is going to tag along if he took the baby beast with him

"Little guy I can't take you with me because I have an important task for you I need you to take care of the things I made here okay," Rex said as he patted the baby beast's head
