"H-how are you still alive?"
Ivan shivered in fright. As a stern older brother, Oldren's authority has deeply embedded within his younger brother.
"I'm surprised myself. But say, what you said earlier, are they the truth?"
Oldren restrained himself from his anger as he could feel his strength waning. Although he was able to use his clothing's specialty, he was still weak for now. Teren doesn't have the Great Spirit of Healing, after all, he was unable to fully heal Oldren.
However, this didn't bother them at all. Even if the enemies outnumber them, even if Teren doesn't do anything, there's a huge difference between having a Great Spirit from not. As long as Oldren have the slightest strength to control his Great Spirit of Dragon, it was Ivan and the rest who should be worried about.
"You heard it..."
"Didn't realize Teren was leading you to it? And here I thought you were the smart one among us three."
Oldren gritted his teeth as he strongly patted Ivan's back. But there was not much force behind it.
"I can't believe you poisoned my meal. Before I almost gave in and fainted, I always thought it was that douchebag, Gulethra who poisoned me. I've been thinking how? How could he invade the security of my house? I didn't even doubt you for a second."
He placed his hand onto Ivan's shoulders. Ivan began sweating bullets as he felt his own body temperature increase. Even those who are not pureblooded can resist heat, however, right now, Ivan got dehydrated from too much perspiration.
"But you're still my little brother... I can't kill you...! I'll just release my temper onto that vixen of yours!"
Oldren finally raised his voice as veins popped out of his forehead. He was usually hotheaded. That's why, him, not showing anger suggests how weak he is right now. But as time passes, little by little, he gains energy.
The poison was finally gone so he could finally recover back to his prime.
Oldren glanced at Teren who was recovering his arm. He was grateful. Afterwhich, he looked at Kenavie and the others who froze on the spot.
Ivan began shaking his head.
"P-please, anyone but her..."
But he dropped and fell unconscious on the ground.
Meanwhile, Kenavie had already given the signal and all the Serpen servants have poisoned themselves to death. However, she was hesitant.
She looked at Ivan and clenched her eyes before sticking her nails into her own hand. It didn't take a while before she fell lifeless onto the ground. That's how potent their poison was and that's why they have absolute faith in it.
The shock they got when Oldren was still saved froze them.
"GAAAAAAR-!"
Oldren stomped and roared in anger.
"DAMN IT! HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO RELEASE THIS ANGER! I SHOULD'VE BURNED THEM ALL!"
"No, don't push yourself. I only cured the poison and the stab wound. You're recovering at your own pace."
Teren said as he laid down on the bed. But it only took him three seconds before he stood up.
"You... you're just a kid... how are you able to stand up?"
Oldren felt like he had seen this person before but he couldn't tell who he is, where he met him, or when.
"My pet is still fighting for her life there. Can you show yourself to them?"
"Hah! You saved my life but that doesn't give you the privilege to treat me like a nobody!"
Oldren intimidatingly said. However, Teren ignored him and jumped off from the top floor before running towards the place where Eron and Trisha should be fighting.
"That kid, I swear... I've seen him before. Also, no ordinary kid can go against Ivan. Elites, spread the word that I'm back."
He said, knowing that the Elites were near him. With the Great Spirit of Dragon with him, he could feel others who hold the same bloodline.
The Elites have already followed Ivan from the start. However, they didn't come close since they are forbidden from entering the second mansion. Furthermore, Ivan was about to handle the situation, they thought. Fighting, breathing fire in one room altogether is not achievable. The only moment they entered the scene was when Oldren stepped in and signaled them.
Meanwhile, Teren had arrived at the battle as it ended.
"Kneel before the Boss!"
Trisha victoriously smiled as she pushed Eron's back down. The latter clenched his fists tight. He had never felt so humiliated before. The former had some burns but her injuries were nothing compared to Eron.
"Teren, you're back. This one's a bit tricky to defeat. Where's the Titan Lord you're talking about?"
Trisha pumped her biceps, showing that she still had the strength so she asked.
Even Eron looked at Trisha with a concerned look. If this girl has the gal of taking on the Titan Lord, maybe, his defeat isn't as humiliating, he thought. But still, being forced to kneel is still unacceptable.
"Look at yourself. You got injured from just fighting Eron. You will die if you've fought the Dragon Lord who is on the same level as the Titan Lord."
Teren removed the ashes on Trisha's shoulders. Afterward, he looked for the burns and healed them.
"Hey! I don't need any healing! You have yet to even finish growing out your arm, so disgusting!"
Teren ignored her and glanced at Eron.
"Remove your foot from him. Let's go, the battle's finished."
"The battle's finished... but you're alive. You defeated them all?"
Trisha asked but she was not that shocked.
"Nope, let's go. I have something to talk about with the Dragon Lord too."
"H-huh? With the Dragon Lord? You bastard!"
Eron thought that Teren was mocking his dead older brother and that reignited his anger.
"Hey, who said the loser gets to talk? See my foot? I'm the winner, when I say you bark, you bark. When I say stay silent, you silent and I say you stay silent right now."
Trisha tapped his foot on his back.
"I said, remove your foot from him."
Teren repeated what he said which Trisha followed.
"I was just reminding him."
She muttered.
"Eron, you come too."
Teren turned his back around and walked away. Trisha followed Teren before glancing at Eron and clapping her hands.
"Psst!"
She was telling Eron to follow them as if he's a dog.
Eron's head twitched in irritation but he was also curious what happened back to the mansion so he followed them.
"You're getting ahead of yourself."
"Heh! I finally felt like I won for the first time in a while. It just feels so darn good!"
Trisha laughed out loud.
