Chapter 47 - Perfect Day Not To Bring An Umbrella

Name:Psycho X Psychic Author:
A critical blunder!

Iesa just wanted to flaunt and hit Lina's vulnerable spots.

Not just blunder but the consequences of her own actions!

Seeing her set off, Iesa immediately chased but seeing the incoming students, she could only walk in her usual graceful manner.

Although Iesa didn't like these plastic people, she has an image to protect!

Gritting her teeth, she walked in fast strides and did not run like a weirdo. Entering the room, she already saw Lina taking up her phone and bugging Teren.

"Can I get your number?"

"Why?"

"As class president."

"That didn't answer my question but okay."

'I knew it! Teren doesn't really care!' Iesa hurried and loudly sat beside them, gaining Teren's attention.

Once they met eye to eye, Iesa transmitted a message through her eyes.

[Don't give her your phone number!]

But how could Teren understand it?

[I love lasagna too.]

Teren replied with his eyes, at least that's what Iesa saw. She clenched her fists.

'I do love lasagna!'

Her eyes then became serious.

'More importantly, how do I stop him from giving his number? I have yet to even delete his number from Catherine's phone and another one will be added?!'

But with her staying quiet, she could only watch as Lina smiled and sent a message.

"There, now, you have my number too!"

"Okay..." Teren nodded, not thinking about it that much.

Although the normal student would be elated if Lina openly flirted with them like that, Teren was oblivious to it.

Thus, it was Iesa's defeat.

Meanwhile, Mike and Catherine showed up at school again. They were now aware of what will happen to Teren. However, they can't directly stop it since it would cause suspicion as to why would they protect Teren.

The first period came and Hanon was still not there. Unfortunately for the class, a substitute teacher arrived, robbing them of their precious vacant time where they can do whatever they want.

When some idiots tried to openly go against the substitute teacher, Catherine would shush them quiet.

Thinking that Catherine and Mike were finally fine, their friends sighed in relief. But that still didn't stop them from wanting to find the truth about what they saw.

Since both Mike and Catherine tried to hide it, it must be serious... that bowing... what's the meaning of it?

The sky darkened, foreboding rain.

"Oh man, I didn't bring an umbrella today!"

"The news said 13% chance of raining, I hate probabilities!"

"I hope it stops when the class is over."

Unfortunately, it didn't and the class was over. Many just went for it and hoped that their things will not get wet. Others wait while some lucky individuals have umbrellas with them. Their friends would share with everyone.

Five people would go under one umbrella, laughing while the others get wet and the owner in the middle, enjoying the privilege.

"Shucks, I have no umbrella." Lina said before turning around to Teren, "You have one?"

But Teren wasn't the person to be cautious of the rain so he shook his head.

"Lina!"

Hearing her friends, Lina sighed and went to them.

"Didn't we say to stop talking to that creep?"

"Teren is not a creep!"

"Lina, you're just too kind."

Nick was already gone, running with his bag on top of him in the rain.

Remaining in the classrooms were students who waited for the rain to stop, or at least, calm down.

"Teren..." Iesa called.

"Hm?" Tenen, who was about to leave, turned to her.

"I have an umbrella, if you like, we can... share."

"..." Teren was stunned, with his entirety, he only has one answer to that.

"Okay"

Under the gaze of others, Iesa opened her umbrella. Now, under it, she and Teren sheltered themselves from the rain.

Not to get wet, they have to close the distance between themselves and let their shoulders touch each other.

Heartbeats were rising and loudly thumped.

They didn't know that sharing an umbrella would be this embarrassing!

They couldn't speak but it was not awkward. There was only the sound of rain, shielding other noises. The cold emphasized the warmth they felt on their shoulders.

There were no words spoken, fearing that if they did, they would stutter from sheer embarrassment.

Walking under the noise of the rain was calming which let them began to enjoy the moment. A moment that seemed so slow. Only when they reached Iesa's place that they thought that moment was too fast.

Reaching the fourth floor and in front of the room [411], Iesa opened the door again.

"See you, tomorrow." Teren waved his hand, however, his sleeve was caught. He turned to Iesa, who was looking down, and heard.

"Your shoulder... it's wet." she then turned her eyes up and like puppy eyes, she continued, "You should change clothes first."

"Umm... but I'm going to get wet either way."

"No, I'm going to lend you the umbrella. What's the point of sharing if you get went on your way home anyway?"

"..." Teren was speechless since Iesa was right.

"But if you're going out in that state, you'll get cold. Just drink some coffee first, I'll lend you a shirt, and bag your uniform. It'll be just quick."

Sounding very reasonable, Teren could only agree this time. But due to Iesa's bashfulness about it, it seemed inappropriate now.

'Self! Have self-control! This is my first time and I have no idea what I will do! Whatever it is, self-control!'

And so, Teren came into her apartment and found a neat and clean place. A fresh smell entered his nose.

The apartment was smaller compared to a regular house but if compared to its fellow apartments, it's already wide.

While looking around, Teren sat at a couch Iesa pointed.

"Umm... I'll get a shirt and you can change in the bathroom later."

"O-okay. But... would I fit into your shirt."

"Of course, I have a lot of oversized t-shirts as my indoor outfit."

Teren nodded while imagining Iesa wearing this oversized t-shirt. Coupled with it were short pants. Only in his imagination though but he was already having a problem with himself.

'Self-control but damn it! I want to see her in that kind of outfit!'
