152 5.41 To-Do-List. And Plans For Hair Shampoo In Clay Bottles

I was back in Hiko-sama's bedroom and went back to my room to clear the gunny sacks and placed them outside the house. I took a rag and some water in a bucket and added abit of Detergent that I had made earlier for a sample and shook the water with one of my hands to make suds and dipped the rag inside it.

I carried the bucket to my room and began to clean it up. The Detergent had completely dissolved and it cleaned the floor pretty well, leaving a fresh rose scent behind. The grime and stubborn stains had gone and it left the room rather sparkling.

I moved to Hiko-sama's room and cleared the contents off the floor and did the same. Just after cleaning the two rooms, the water in the bucket had turned dark which indicates that either I had not cleaned the house for some time or simply the Detergent had worked its charms pretty well.

A sweet rose scent was now left Lingering in the air and that smell alone refreshes and invigorates my mind and body. I had used a few drops of the rose Essense and yet the effect was like a perfume that had been used instead.

Another idea to make floor cleaning solution came to my mind but in powder form. That part would be left in some chapters ahead when the tasks at hand had been completed. As for the floor, it would be best smelling like like instead.

I intended to add fruity smells to the Karada Soap collections but then this time around I would be thinking of hair shampoo and would think of other ways to bottle it.

Maybe Hiko-sama can think of a way to use his kind of pottery to make into a hand dispenser for the hair shampoo. Yes! That would be it, a clay bottle for the hair shampoo instead.

At least he can showcase his pottery art skills and in turn, he could run a small production for his bottles. "Hahahahah... At least he won't feel redundant in this business and contributed directly to it." I thought aloud.

When Hiko-sama emerged from the toilet he first saw his room was in disarray. But the smell of rose suddenly hit him and he asked if I had dropped a bottle of Essense perfume because the scent was covering the whole house.

I laughed and apologise because I used the Detergent to clean the floor and he was surprised that laundry Detergent can also be used as a cleaning agent.

I packed his room and brought my items back in mine.

"Sensei, I am interested to take a look at your pottery for a while. Would that be OK?" I asked politely so that he could share his passion with me as well as some secrets.

"You wanted to see them now?" he asked in bewilderment as I had a sudden interest in his works.

He went to the store and lit the oil lantern. I ran my hands on the surface of the pottery and found that the glazed ones were the most slippery while the lacquered one had more friction but is still slippery and when my hand ran over the original ones, it felt just right.

"Sensei, can your pottery be made into anti-slip or less slippery and rough to the touch?" I asked.

"Why do you ask?"

"Earlier Riko was asking if this Detergent can be used for the hair. I intend to add fruity scent for the hair but then the production of the bottle was expensive. Furthermore, once you have shampoo in your hair and eyes, the bottle would prove hazardous as it may be very slippery and slipped to the floor and break."

"Just now I was thinking of your pottery works and thought of the best surface to use and place in the bathroom. That's why I was thinking of the best surface and design as well as the shape of the clay bottles that you could make to store the shampoo."

"Furthermore, you could design soap holders for the bathroom and sink, and patent them for sale together with the soap as a bundle or as a separate product."

"Wah, kid. I was only in the bathroom and you could think of another business project. Your mind seems to be working nonstop at all! Yes, I'm interested and all open for your proposal. Pottery surfaces could be made rough and non-slippery when before heating them in the furnace, we would just sprinkle some fine sand on it."

"Thank you so much for your tips, would you like to run your own production in the future for the clay bottles and soap holders?"

"Definitely, kid. To run my own class and workshop had been my dream, but then would that exposes my closely guarded secret?"

"As long as you are not the one doing it but instructing people doing it is fine, Sensei"

"In that case, I totally agree with you and we will work for hand in hand in this empire of yours!"

"It's not entirely mine, it should be O-U-R-S."

"Alright, Sensei. Time for me to shower and then have a good rest. By the way, look at what I print for the Detergent packaging."

I showed him the paper and showed him the folded version and he liked it very much. So it has been decided for the name and packaging style. I even mentioned the costs and he finds it very affordable and told him he can mass-produce clay scoops so at least they know how to gauge the contents for their laundry.

"From iron plates, Hangers, Scented body soap, Seijuro Tumbler machines, Detergent and the next would be clay bottles, soap holders, floor cleaning agent and hair shampoo. I wonder what would the next project be." Hiko-sama looked at my back and was amazed that this young kid could be a tycoon in a matter of weeks.

"Sensei, could we open a corporate savings account using the business trade name and both of us as the beneficiaries?" I asked as I poked my head out from the shower with my hair been wet and had soap suds in it.

"Eh... Do you wash your hair with the soap? It's possible?" asked Hiko-sama when he saw me with so-called shampooed hair.

"We men don't necessarily need to use shampoo, but soap like this also can do. "Answer the question, Sensei..." As I still poked my body out while lathering myself with the soap.

"Yes, we could, kid. You want me to do it tomorrow?"

"Let me set aside the weekly budget and then we can proceed. You may close my savings account and withdraw all the gold coins and transfer them into our corporate account." I said as I poked my head back in the shower and closed the door and started to mimic Hiko-sama singing in the bathroom.

Hiko-sama smiled and laughed at himself at my unselfishness and trust to dump all his assets and made him the beneficiary.

After my shower, I returned to my room and Hiko-sama had his door closed so I decided not to disturb him in any way. I took yam and bananas for the preparation of the tea breaks for the workers and placed them in a large steamer basket to steam them now so I could just reheat them in the morning tomorrow.

Preparations on advance had been my normal practice even in my previous life and even if the era would be slow-paced and relaxed but with me around I think it would start making people scrambling about to compete with my speed in completing tasks.

Having the right mentality is the core of this success. Even how hard we fall we always pick ourselves up and continue one step at a time. Maybe the discipline I got from the military that was also part of my driving force.

I checked my gold coins and set aside 260 for the building of the house and warehouse and had a balance of slightly over 480 excluding the silver and coppers. I foresee that I do not need any more bulk purchases in the coming 1 week, I just set aside 30 coins to round off the figure at 450 instead.

With my personal assets of 180 or 185 gold coins in the initial savings account, the corporate account would now be estimated 600+. Not a bad start, not bad at all for a kid of my age to singlehandedly whipped up such saving within a period of 2 weeks.

Crossing my fingers for the export business department to bring good tidings on their intended purchase for the [Refined Iron] plates that we have at 600 pieces, even at an export tax of 10% we still make a tidy profit since the materials were free.

I decided to sleep it off and do not wish to think so much. Why the need of so much gold coins where there are people who need it most by providing employment?

I made a mental note that we still would like to engage the services of the same 10 men for the construction of the warehouse and once it is ready, we would absorb the manpower. 10 men, 6 girls and 2 women that make up a total workforce of 18 not excluding the other 2 machinists in the trading district.

Well, can't think too much. Better sleep it off and wait for tomorrow.

---Meanwhile, in the next morning---

I awoke fresh and the floor and the air still smelled of rose Essense. I went to the kitchen and flared up the rocket stove and went to the shower first. After I had my shower I checked the steamed bananas and they had been completely steamed means the lower part where the yam was, had been thoroughly steamed.

I prepared a large kettle to boil some water and made green tea afterwards. Hiko-sama was a slow riser so he should be up in about 5 to 10 minutes once he heard the tinkering from the kitchen. I changed to a kimono which I hadn't worn for some time and dangled my pocket watch on my neck. I wound it until I could feel the spring's tension and checked the time.

It was slightly after 520 am and the rooster had just started to crow. "You're up early, kid. I guess you had showered and made breakfast. Now you looked more like a Young Master rather than a messenger. Hahaha. I like your medallion too kid, it looks kinda similar like mine." Hiko-sama cracked his joke early morning just like the rooster that crowed to wake the resident for the welcome of a break of dawn.

"Hahahaha. I almost forgot to change into the kimono. Had been stuck using a gi for the past few days. Well, go ahead and shower Sensei. Today would be the near completion of the house and tomorrow would be final touch up and furnishings."

"Today, we are going to fill up the soap into their moulding sets so we would be away in the Realm of Mind for 2 parts of the day. Hope we would be able to complete a few scents today and let it cure for another week. By the way, the girls could move in tomorrow evening, and we can start our operations of preparing all the packing by individual scents."

"That's right, actually the girls can move in tonight if they want to and start processing the packing by them for tomorrow. I take the sketchbook out and strike off what we had completed."

"Alright, Sensei, we start when the workers arrive. In case someone drops, we just inform the foreman we are out in errands and just to leave a note."

"Good, idea. OK, let me prepare myself first."

I went to the main door and opened it up and the cool air drifted in and made me shiver abit. Max had just appeared once and hadn't made his appearance again. Well, I had spent over 4 months in the 3rd series so I would expect it to be longer since I have written 41 long chapters in this 5th series.

The more series, the more chapters that are churned out, and the contents jumped from 1k+ to more than an average of 3k+ now.

I checked the to-do-list and found the I have to make a headstart since Hiko-sama would be heading to the business district and then to the trading district for the rat of the tasks that need to be completed.

Hiko-sama had done showering and I served steamed bananas and green tea for breakfast and brought the sketchpad with me.

I added the following:

22. Make Shampoo bottles from clay or pottery and shaped by Sensei with rough anti-slip edges surfaces. Colour and personalised design decided by Sensei. Name of Product Shampoo with the drawings of sweet fruits like strawberries et cetera. Be made available at cosmetics shops. The cost would be at 2 gold. No nego.

23. Make hair shampoo and find the ingredients to make it as a liquid type and won't turn solid if exposed to air. 500 grams. Priced as above.

24. Make Detergent/cleaning agent based on lemon scent first and make available for the public. 250 grams. Price TBC.

I added the entries and l hope it would not be a trouble for Hiko-sama as he looked at it with a permanent frown on him. Only with a slight nod of his head would indicate his acknowledgement.

Hiko-sama circled the intended tasks.

6. Make 24 different stamps for each scent

10. Bring 10 Hangers to the Patent and Trademark Department

13. Buy some ledger books to mark these quantities and description first.

14. Discuss with Mesen-san to meet up for lunch with his nephew and write a simple contract to start building the Seijuro Tumbler

17. Check if the banner is ready for the storage instead of the house.

18. Buy paper glue from the stationery to stick the wrapping paper together.

19. Statistics on plebs District on the number of residents and households.

20. Buy a basket of lemon and a 5 kilograms sack of baking powder from the confectionery.

21. Open a corporate savings account using the business trade name.

We synchronised our time and he said he would be back in 2 hours at most. The time was 5:55 am and he would move out as soon as he had done with breakfast. He told me I should be back by 8 am and dive back to the Realm of Mind with him till 930 am.

This would give enough time for us to complete the making a few batches of the Karada Soap. We agreed and he made his journey towards the business district after I handed him 450 gold coins and my ID to close my savings and open a corporate account.

As soon as the workers and the foreman arrive, we exchanged greetings and told them I need to rest since I'm not feeling well and closed the main door. The work continued outside while I entered the Realm of Mind. I checked the time and it was just 602 am.

I soon get to work and visualise 360 soap moulding sets that can cure 20 bars of soap per set and get to work. I came back to the real world just slightly after 8 am and had completed 3 batches and were all stacked and labelled accordingly.

Hiko-sama greeted me when I stepped out of my room and he waved a red colour corporate account book in front of me and showed the amount.

He updated to me the following:

He had made the stamps and it would be ready in a few days time and had produced the receipt.

The Hangers that he had presented at the Patents and Trademarks had been approved and is now under the sole distributorship of Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha and the same follows as the rest.

He had also purchased 6 ledger book for the first 5 Karada soap and the [Refined Iron] plates. He informed Mesen that we would be having a lunch meeting in 4 days from now together with the former's nephew.

The banner would be ready in 2 days time and will be delivered and a whole dozen of paper glue in clay bottles ready with a flat brush had been bought at the stationery shop and Hiko-sama presented the receipt.

He had gotten the statistics based on a general headcount and number of household and he gave me a slip of paper by the Statistics Office. I checked and wrote in my sketchpad that there were an estimated 2,218 residents living in 440 households in 147 houses with an error margin of 5%.

The basket of lemon and the 5 kilogram of baking powder is on the way and Hiko-sama produced the receipts. I gathered up all the receipts and returned him the cash that he had used from his own coin pouch.

The time is 8:19 am and its time to dive into the Realm of Mind and we worked to complete 3 batches together in that particular 1 hour. There are 18 more batches to go and at 1 hour we could process 3 batches which means we could complete more than half of the scents.

I informed Hiko-sama that we would dive again for another 2 hours of real-time after serving the tea break and we soon entered the Realm of Mind soon after. We worked with vigour as we made moulds of each scent and stacked accordingly and at 11:49 am, we had successfully completed the whole 24 New Scents and Hiko-sama wrapped all the 24 scraps of soap and turned them into a patty before labelling and wrapping them.

I helped Hiko-sama to carry half of his treasured lumpy bars of Scented Soap and brought it back to the real world. The moment we arrive back at our room, Hiko-sama simply lay down on the tatami mat and surround himself with the Scented Soap and he was so damn excited about his treasures.

At last! 29 kinds of scent are waiting to be wrapped in 3 days and 7 days respectively. He made soaps as squarely as possible and he told me he is going to bring these to the cosmetics shop and seduce them to buy all the scents.

Since there owner wanted to buy 100 pieces of each scent initially, and if combined with the current collections, it would exact to 2,900 pieces at the same amount of good coins! Even if discounted to a low of 2,500, they would earn a HUGE profit from it.

"Let's go to the garden and have lunch and see how the progress looks like," as both of us opened up the sliding door and stepped out into the sunshine and sat at the garden. Lunch had arrived and the workers had taken theirs on pairs and we saw some horse-drawn wagons with new building materials on it.

"Ah, Senior and Young Master, I sincerely hope that you are feeling well right now. I'm sorry but could I join you here for lunch too and discuss the current situation? Kayu-san and we exchanged bows and we pointed him to take a seat and have lunch with us.

All three of us tucked in and both of us listened to the progress. "Senior and Young Masters, we had already checked the curing of the kitchen and bathroom and everything worked well. The floorings had been waxed some days back by my workers in the factory and had been fully installed."

"Our boys had delivered the fittings for the warehouse according to the specifications that you need and will work on it in the second part of the day after lunch. The 10 workers are doing some final touch-ups and have finished installing the partitions and had set aside those folding ones for you to place them as required."

"Our 3 warehouse boys would be delivering the furnishings and will be setting it up with 2 of the workers while the remaining 8 would lay the foundation of the warehouse. The skeletal structure may or may not be completed by today but since it is of a simpler design, I am sure the foundation, pillars and a complete roof would be installed by end of the day."

"Officially, the house would be an immediate move and live in condition by this evening, I assure you, Senior and Young Master."

"Young Master, this savoury green curry taste great, don't you think so?" Hiko-sama looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, Senior Master. This goes well with the crispy stir-fried green vegetables and the steamy rice too. You really made a great choice for our lunch today... Mmmmm," I replied as I smacked my lips and half-closed my eyes too.

Kayu-san was silent and dumbfounded as looked at us and wondering if we had listened to him all this while. He scratched his head and he looks at Hiko-sama then at me and back at Hiko-sama in a very confused state.

Then we both started laughing which shocked Kayu-san and he just seemed out of position. Hiko-sama told him we were just trading him and heard every word he says while I congratulate him on a job very well done.

Hiko-sama slapped Kayu-san shoulders and told him to continue his lunch.

"Kayu-san, thank you for your kind update as I can see you truly are a professional and trustworthy man. You put your heart and soul in your profession and managed to come up and tackled the deadline way beyond the 7 days. I really admire you and how I wish I could be like you." I brought the flattery to another level where Kayu-san head not only swelled, but his balls in his hakama swell up as well like a pufferfish. Hahahaha!

"Arch... I am just a simple man, Young Master. I will satisfy my clients just to make them happy and what do you know, I am staring on another project here on the same lot too." he said.

"I like men who are brave, brave enough to take challenges, others may say it takes balls for a man to look simple but could take on a lion with his hands, and I am sure you got balls, as BIG as a melon! Hahahaha!" Hiko-sama praised the foreman in an adult vulgar words and the moment I heard it, food flew from my mouth as I started to laugh and imagine the foreman with balls as big as melons!

Damn you Hiko-sama, can you joke when my mouth is empty? Hahahahaha.

"Hahahaha... Yes, we must have balls but they are hidden, while women have balls that protrude out and they feel proud of their assets. Hahahaha." joked the foreman as he was fond of dirty and lewd jokes and my food came blowing out again.

"Don't mind the Young Master, he loves to blow his food out once in a while. Hahaha"

"Hmm... Hmm... I wished to highlight something to you if you won't mind. What would happen to the 10 workers after they complete their jobs?" I asked to start into a serious topic and a conversational point.

"Ah, then I would have no use for them after this. They may go back to their own life's fishing, foraging and trapping for their daily foods. They are redundant so basically, they would be used if the need arises and then laid off if there's no work for them. Furthermore, this is the first time I hired them but since there won't be any future housing developments here for a long time, I won't be using their services anymore." the foreman replied with such an air that any bird that flew through it would get stuck in mid-air.

Fucking old man! I hate your kind and I hate the way you treat other human beings like garbage. A great answer that you gave us, puffer fishballs!

"Ah... Very good... Very good. Cuts down on manpower costs. Very genius of you. Very effective Kayu-san. So really, you won't be using any of them in the future?" I asked while seething with hate for this gokiburi.

"No, I won't need their services anymore and they are redundant and replaceable so..."

"I would absorb them to work for us. They will go to the mines and toiled some land far far away from here so you would not see them anymore." I cut off this old man's bullshit while trying to put on a smile.

"How much are you paying them at the moment?"

"I paid them 1 silver coin daily, they are lucky they get to eat from a bento or else they would be digging..."

"That's right, how true of you to say that. Once they are finished with the construction of the warehouse, they would be digging as well..."

I was seething with rage that I can't be more sarcastic than these and I can't wait to see this old man get fucked in his own grave soon!

Seeing me clenching my fist till my knuckles turned white, Hiko-sama dismissed Kayu-san saying that we have something to discuss and the former took his lunch, bowed and left the table.

"Relax, breathe easy. You will meet more people like him and you'd wish you could eliminate all of them to make this world a better place. That's why I became a samurai and slain hundred of men to stop what they had started but then I don't see a point using violence to end violence. Look at me and breathe easy, kid."

I knew Hiko-sama was damn worried about me and I looked at his face and stared deeply and I saw a sense of consolation in his eyes that made me cool down and I immediately snapped near his face and gashed and growl at the same time.

"Hahahahaha... You sure can put on a good act, you really got me, kid, you really got me. Hahahaha!" Hiko-sama raised both of his hands in the air and calmly places them on the table.

"Come, finish our lunch up." and I replied by slowly shook my head as I closed the bento box and pushed it aside away from me. I knew Hiko-sama can still see from my eyes that I was still full of rage but I have to be professional. Business is business I can't mix with my personal emotions as I will get back at him and get him to commit to buying 2 Seijuro Tumbler Machines, a few kilograms of Detergent powder, a few dozen bottles of hair shampoo, half dozen of soap holders and a few kilograms of the cleaning agent.

I could only take revenge and reduce his assets drastically and I would make him go broke and make him taste the life of living as pleb soon!

Gnash! Gnash! Grrr... Grr...!!
