"Hey, silly boy. Did you send a notification to the Sheriff of Nottingham on incognito mode on a demons findings and whereabouts in this area?"
"Yes, Matilda, I did. Of course, I can't send it under my assumed name and let's see what's the response looks like." I replied as I scanned the notifications of the activity of the demons.

"Here it is Boss, it says 'A reminder to the public to keep away from Spottiswood due to some unknown activities until the investigations are complete.'. That's it, just a reminder to the public and nothing else. No hints, no raids, zipppp..."
"Robin, It seems the Sheriff is also in incognito mode as well. Do you wish to send a recon to make sure no progress has been made by those demons and their development somehow had been slowed down or stop completely?" asked Stef as she held her staff upright close to her and used her chin to rest where her hands were.
"Seems a good idea Stef, but if a hornets' nest had been disturbed, won't the hornets be on extra alert? How if we send a drone there and we can watch it remotely?" as I took out a palm-sized drone with 4 copters and remote control with CCTV capabilities as Matilda chuckled at my foolishness.
"We let the heat simmer down a while and see if the Sheriff of Nothingness would send another notification to the public on these findings or not. Surely he would not just post a notice of warning, right?"
"Here, Silly boy take a look at my draft to send to him. I just composed it for your interest." Matilda handed me a note that reads, "Gold mine discovered and hoarded by demons at Spottiswood. Raid calls for the bravest!"
"Looks interesting and enticing, we'd go with that," and I took the note from Matilda and send it on a broadcast under incognito mode and soon, swarms of other notifications rang up calling for reinforcements.
"Boss, rumours sure move on fast this way, surely the Sheriff of Nothingness would react faster his way." said Jean Lethal as we observed the growing interest that was sparked by the word 'Gold'.
True enough, even the Sheriff of Nothingness sprang into action and a search party was called upon at 3 pm today and a lot of participants joined in.
"Now we could send our recon to view and record the account and report their investigations," I said as I summoned the sergeants of the Assassins to produce a 2 man recon team to observe the 3 pm event that would take place later.
"Roger that. On the double, moving out at 1445 hours, Sir Robin." replied the sergeant of the Assassins as he arranged for two of his teammates to observe the happenings at the demons encampment 30 minutes away from Camp Salvation.
Since there were 2 hours before the Assassins made their move, I excused myself as I went to the Realm of Mind to fuse the 13,158 weapons and armours into sellable items to be traded for gold in the Merchants District in York later.
2 hours in the real world is equivalent to 6 hours in the Realm of Mind and a single fusion would take up less than a minute and before long I had fused a total of 360 sets of weapons in that 2 hours of real-time hours.
In fact, I would actually need about 4 days before I could complete fusing the whole 13,158 pieces of broken weapons first to become 6,579 complete ones.
When I logged off and returned to the real world, the Assassins on recon mission were about to move out and I bade them Goodluck as they headed out towards the edge of the Camp before they activated their stealth mode.

"Looks like activities are buzzing at the demons' encampment now. A party raid is now being launched and seems the humans outnumber the demons at this rate." thought Assassin 'B'.
"Yes, it seems so, the human is overpowering at this moment and had overrun the demons encampment. Wait... How about the demons that were still inside the mineshaft?" thought Assassin 'A'.
"Look, the humans are entering it right now... Fools... Sending themselves through a shit hole they could never climb out from...! Hah... Pathetic fools...!" hissed Assassin 'B' as he watched a group of a human trying to siege the mineshaft without any plans.
A few moments later, a horde of over100 demons stormed out from the mineshaft, holding to their battleaxes, Warhammer and huge maces emerged from the narrow mine shaft entrance, all bloodied and were chanting incoherently.
"See, I told you... These are fools entering and trying to siege a demons stronghold without even a single plan. Throwing themselves right into the path of an unstoppable human meat grinder...." spat Assassin 'B' and realised that he had his face mask on and the spit dribbled on the underside of it.
"Gullible humans, just because of the word 'Gold' made them forget the next word 'Demons' and 'Hoarded'... How many counts did you make for those entering the mineshaft earlier?" asked Assassin 'A' as he counted the demons that came out from the mineshaft and were licking the trails of blood that had streamed from their weapons down to their beefy forearm.
"There are more than 50 humans, I've lost count as well but from the sight of these human meat grinders, I'm sure there are no survivors." answered Assassin 'B' as he saw that these demons had 4 forearms instead of the usual 2 and able to wield 2 slashing and 2 piercing weapons.
"Look at those scales on their bodies... Aren't they natural scale armour?" asked Assassin 'A' as he used 'E A G L E. E Y E S' to actually get a much closer look at the sight before him.
"My God, you're right. These scales armour are baring fused into their bodies, unlike those demons that we had battled in before. Those... Looks like an armadillo and a porcupine combined. Look at their defensive mane behind their whole back. Looks familiar?"
Observed Assassin 'B' as he saw that these demons had a kind of mane from the top of the head right till their backs and as the demons breathed, their manes moved rhythmically and saw that it was made up of 5-inch black spikes.
For an Assassin to take down the enemy using a 'B A C K S T A B' would like be a no, no and the only way is to approach the front. But having 4 arms would put the demons at an advantage, so a frontal attack would also be at a disadvantage.
Long-range assault, Juggernaut walls and ice spikes would stop their advances but for how long, the Assassins won't know. Wild beast and raising the dead spirits wouldn't work well in this scenario.
Suddenly, as the Assassins were lost in their own thoughts, the demons lay flat on their stomachs and began to dig the ground and cover themselves with the dirt. Soon, all the demons that were in plain sight had done so and the ground seems to be uniform and undisturbed.
"Eh... Where did they go? They are like bugs that burrow deep to protect or hide." thought Assassin 'A' as he realised that these moves were somewhat similar to them in setting up an ambush.
"D E T E C T"
"Damn... I can't detect any signs of life. Wait, I'm going to try something. My gut says that it's a trap all along..." cursed Assassin 'A' as he picked a flat fist-sized stone and threw it towards the ground near the mineshaft. So sooner the stone hit the ground, a few black spikes burst from the ground towards the direction of the stone...
"T A K E. C O V E R"
"S H I E L D S. U P"
The two Assassins mouthed these shout spells and took cover immediately behind the huge tree trunks as some of the spikes flew in their direction.
"Shit...!! Mission Charlie...! RTC... RTC...!" mouthed Assassin 'A' as he activated
'B L I N K', 'D A S H', 'R E T R E A T' and dashed away as fast from the site leaving after images of 2 Assassins as they cleared the ground as fast as they can and zig-zagged around the forested area and hailed UberX to reach Camp Salvation just to avoid detection.
...
"Assassin 'A' reporting, Sir Robin..." and we all listened in to the report given and made a battle plan in case we need to go against these horrid 4 armed armadilloes with porcupine spikes behind their backs...!
"Captains, please inform our adventurers that I would like to have the body and pants Studded leather armour in our room in the hearth this very minute within 5 minutes time."
"There's a need to upgrade our armour NOW as we have a new threat. Pin those coat of arms on the body armour as well." I instructed and immediately the captains went to work and the sergeants all collected the body and pants Studded Leather armour and leave it in our room in the hearth.
"Everyone takes a break now. I'LL BE BACK..." and I sounded like Arnold Swarzenneger in Terminator 2 as I went into the hearth, meditated and went to the Refined Steel Production and took a cart and places as much plates as I could.
I then changed the scene and came to the Fusion Chamber where I checked that I had l the body armour with the coat of arms pinned to it before I fuse a single plate of steel in the slot. I pushed the slider to CREATE / ARMOUR / ENHANCED and pulled the lever.
*DING* Create Enhanced Armour Success. Legendary 14 Layers Steel Mesh Studded Leather Body Armour created. 5 sockets Body Shield.
"SWEET HOT MOMMA...!!!" I opened the door of the Fusion Chamber and was surprised at the new design of the body armour. The metal coat of arms with 5 diamonds had been infused and now that small badge had covered the whole chest area and was named as Body Shield. It was like a Knight Templer but this had four clovers and a garden hoe on top with the words in Latin across the banner underneath that says, "Promptus Ut Rursus Adveniat".
