Chapter 133 - Over and over

He just wants to hold her in his arms, to make love to her over and over again. To kiss her every day and tell her how much he loves her. Rhys couldn't take his emotions anymore, and that's why he suddenly brought Lyn back inside the inn.

He quickly closed the door behind them and pinned her against the wall. "Lyn..." Rhys said her name softly against her lips.

"You're so hopeless, Rhys," Lyn mumbled. She caressed his cheeks. "It would be wrong of me to accept your emotions, just because I'm fighting with Kazuya now."

"Lyn, please. I just want to kiss you."

"I cannot say yes. But you have me here, and nobody is around."

"I'm sorry," he whispered. "But, other than kissing you, I won't do anything else."

"I think kissing should be forbidden too. But, I keep letting you, I think I'm strange too."

She doesn't let him, though, Lyn always struggles whenever he kisses her. It's because halfway he eases her into it, and that's why she thinks that way. Well, whatever, right now, he wants to kiss her and touch her a bit. Rhys always thought his best friend was a fool. While Kazuya always had that bad habit of disappearing when he was younger. Rhys thought things would change once he found somebody he liked. Surely one would want to stick by that person's side?

But, it seems like he underestimated his friend a great deal.

"Take off you're clothes," Lyn suddenly exclaimed.

"Huh?" Rhys muttered. "You want to do it? Well, I don't mind, but huh, what made you change your mind."

Lyn harshly cut him off, "You're hurt idiot, I need to treat your wounds."

Ah, of course. For a moment, he thought his ears were playing tricks on him or something. Of course, it has something to do with his wounds.

Rhys caressed her cheeks, "You don't want to do something more fun?" he edged closer. However, Lyn suddenly punched his side - causing him to wince in pain. "Oi!"

"It hurts, right?"

Of course, it hurts! Her punches hurt! Where on earth did she get that brute strength from?

Lyn sighed and backed away from the wall. She walked over to her bag. "You're lucky I still carry around medical supplies. Hold on a moment. I'd heal you, but somebody might notice I'm here if I use that magic."

"Which somebody are you talking about?"

"Silver is alive apparently," Lyn mumbled.

A familiar name from the past. One Rhys didn't think he would hear again. "Didn't he fall off the bridge?"

"That's what we all thought, but somebody saved him, it seems."

"Queen J?"

Lyn nodded, "Yes."

It seems like that woman planned all of this a long time ago. They really let their guard down around her. "During the academy, we ...focused on other matters more. Don't blame yourself for not realizing.."

"Other matters, huh?" Lyn walked over with the kit in her hands and sat down beside him on the bed. "You know, during the academy, a certain someone distracted me daily. You acted so strangely after Kazuya went to the Sound Kingdom. Did you think some strange rumors would start if you hung around me?"

'She noticed?"

Lyn kept shaking her head, "Really, you're an idiot Rhys. I didn't care for the rumors. It didn't matter to me if they said such things.."

"But it was important to me!" Rhys raised his voice. "Damn, you have no idea, do you? Do you know what kind of things they said about you, Lyn? Of course, I had to stop them." They were calling her a s.l.u.t, an easy woman. Some guys even joked around about having a shot with her. They said such vile and disgusting things. It made his blood boil just thinking of it.

"Rhys, you don't..."

"I love you," Rhys mumbled. "That's why I couldn't stand it. I love you so much, so when I heard it, I got angry."

To his surprise, Lyn lightly kissed his cheek, "Thank you, Rhys, even though it would have been okay. By doing that, you sacrificed a lot, not being able to see me or stand by my side. My days in the academy were rather peaceful, which is strange considering my identity. The person I have to thank there is you, correct?"

"Yeah."

"Rhys, thank you for protecting and defending me this whole time. Even though things turned out this way..."

Rhys cut her off, "Treat my wound."

Lyn nodded, and she placed her hands on his robe. "Will you take this off?"

"Do it for me."

"You're so helpless, or maybe you think it's that easy to take advantage of me?"

Like it's easy, Lyn makes it very hard for him. The girl sighed and reached over and slowly removed his robes.

"Hey, you're blushing."

"Don't be a fool, seriously, what am I even doing here with you?"

'That's his question,' Rhys thought. Lyn should return to the Mist Kingdom. She is the Queen - she shouldn't have left. He intended to convince her to return. But now? Now he wants to keep her all to himself. Rhys watched as Lyn removed the last of his robs, which fell on the ground. He still wore his pants, unfortunately, "Hey, you missed a spot."

Lyn dabbed the ointment harshly on his wound, and he winced. "Be gentle."

"Don't push your luck with me... You already know how irritated I am. I can't believe you --" Rhys cut her off and kissed her. It was very brief, but Rhys pried her mouth open.

When he saw the knife, Rhys grabbed hold of her wrist. "Why do you keep resisting? Your relationship with Kazuya is bad now. What's wrong with me trying?"

"It's not bad."

"But are you even together?"

Lyn sighed, "It's very complicated right now. I realized this when I followed him. We aren't used to each other's company. Being away from each other - strengthens our feelings. But when we are together, it's suffocating."
