Chapter 56 - Lu Jianjun Really Gets On My Nerve

After some time, Louis came back after cleaning and spending a good amount of time, calming his wrecked mind, still, his entire body was trembling in panic and feeling nauseous, just remembering the scene he witnessed.

This is inhuman!

From the start, Louis knew they were so cruel and joining hands with them might backfire, but now it's too late to bother.

However, what scared him the most is the thought of Lu Jianjun's rage...

'Fuck, what if Lu Jianjun...'

Louis's face turned pale white and his fingers tremble while thinking about the possibility of ifs. Cause the incident happened nearly one and a half months ago has a direct connecting link to Lu Jianjun. And if that man found out, for what Louis had used his sources for... then Louis is going to die inadequately and no one will be able to save him, not even the Prince himself.

The world might not know who Lu Jianjun really is, but Louis knew it better than any other businessmen. And what he's capable of doing?

For now, Lu Jianjun might be an ordinary businessman but his past wasn't an ordinary one. And just because Louis knew something more than others about Lu Jianjun's past, so consequently, he became a little important for Prince and the only suitable choice.

Fortunately, Lu Jianjun had no idea as he wasn't entitled nor allowed to return to these dark valleys any longer. Even so, his terror never left, and God's knows what triggered him to be so violent and ruthless as he broke Underworld's spine in one night They were still not able to recover properly.

Titan's had really forgotten to put a leash on him.

No one knew how bad he was until he has tried very hard to be good yet no one caught his love for her.

It's relief he was banished, everything was taken from him, his property, position, his entire empire was taken all they could, and put on a ban him as that was the only thing they could do control him. As there are a few countries where he was banned forever his life. Yet years later after all that, Underworld still, doesn't act carelessly when something regards that man.

What they did with a renowned woman known as Queen of Hearts: Wang Jing, born with royal blood blended over dark blood, the forgotten princess of Underworld and also the abandoned daughter of Crime Lord.

The hyped faces and names involved in this matter were never revealed as the highly confidential case was closed on demand.

And just like that, Lu Jianjun's golden era ended with a tragedy of Underworld.

Yet the younger brother of Wang Jing, Prince ȧssumed that Lu Jianjun isn't an idiot to let others know of, what he did was because he loved Wang Jing and nobody questioned as most knew how close the two people are since their childhood but still, Lu Jianjun was protecting someone behind his back. Keeping that person out of this mess...

If so...then Who? And why he's going to such extreme lengths to protect her?

When Louis entered the dark room, the Prince casually put on his shades, covering his amber eyes who usually caught everyone's attention and sometimes scares people with its sharpness. Although he enjoyed people's terrified look yet he doesn't reveal his rare eyes to just anyone. He leans back on his large chair as his jawline was dipped into his standing collar of thick coat reaching up to his ears.

Louis could bȧrėly see his face in dim lights coming from the glass cubicle at his left side with no lights in the room.

"Do you like what you saw?" he inquired, his coarse and commanding voice was different than what Louis had heard from him on that fateful night.

"I never saw something like this," Louis replied, his voice unusually low than usual. He wasn't sure how to reply to it when his natural reaction said everything, how frightened he was.

"Nice," he smiled, crossing his legs as he enjoyed Louis's reaction previously.

"Did you get your earring back?" he asked.

"Yes, and I kept it in my small collections," Louis answered with a stiff smile. The earrings Prince has borrowed from him and wore once was now valued more than his market price. If someday Louis lack money then he can always sell that one piece of earring in Underworld's auction House and earn much more as buying something a Royalty has used is considered as having a rare gem. It doesn't sell always but rarely. And auctioneering is a tradition in Underworld, it doesn't matter if that thing is stolen or unauthorized, everything and anything can be sold in Underworld even a strand of hair. Obviously, it depends on who's hair strand it is or the piece of flesh, their haters will buy it at any cost, only to feed them to their dogs.

"Hmm,", "And what about Lu Jianjun? Did you met him?" Louis was taken back when he heard the ominous tone in his voice at the mention of Lu Jianjun's name.

Recovering from his shock, Louis nodded. Prince's eye narrowed, his jaw tightened as his fist balled up resting on side of his chair.

"Any problem?" he queried. Louis shook his head and said, "I hope not, he seemed as usual he is. Nothing significant."

"Hmm, His words!" he ordered. Louis sighed before he began.

"Lu Jianjun didn't object for taking the private plane using Versailles's runway. But he was certainly displeased for invading his territory without his permission... and warned me,"

Originally, they plan to shot the girl and bury her dead body in the cemetery down the cliff because taking a dead body without any checking and inspection was impossible unless they owned the aviation industry which they don't.

Aside from that, the girl belongs to a wealthy family making it hard to use their limited connections which are all inferior to her family. As they could easily get captured one day unless and until there is someone of their equal caliber and couldn't be questioned by her family.

Favorably, there was one now. The owner of Versailles manor.

Luckily, that day Lu Jianjun was not in China and he was unreachable, so Louis called Lu Junhui, for his permission to fly back using their private plane. As Lu Junhui was not in the manor, he was standing out an operation room in the hospital so he didn't bother much of his request and gave them permission. And for Bai Tian's absence, he was busy with coaxing Little Tiger along with Master Lu in the old house.

Inside the lonely manor, No one noticed or questioned the Underworld's Prince visiting Versallies Manor in disguise.

Louis narrated their talk thoroughly as the Prince and Onyx listened to him very attentively. Their facial expression's changed when they heard Lu Jianjun's indirect warning.

'You know the consequences if I ever find any blunder. You'll be the one rushing to the grave.'

Onyx glanced over the Prince, she can imagine the menacing look in his glittering amber eyes behind those dim shades. He didn't like to be threatened in any way, direct or indirect, and it became worst if it's from his most prominent enemy.

Although Louis didn't know who was that person, they killed on that night but he was sure of one thing, whoever it is, he or she was some big shot. Otherwise, they wouldn't have done the killing in their own cowardly Underworld style. Shooting people in their head anyplace they find the opportunity and running away as their death is more mattering than the process of killing.

Still, Louis could guess, this murder was a special case, he knew this person was more powerful and eminent as Prince himself wants to see him/her die and he didn't even take any risk for that yet risking his own life.

Curious to know if that person is one of these frozen bodies, Louis turned his neck and stared at them one by one. But his eyes stopped at the dead woman. Everyone has a bullet hole but this lady has maximum numbers of bullet stabs and the biggest hole was in between her eyebrows.

Louis brows furrowed deeply as he stared at her horrified stitched face but he couldn't identify her face, even if she would be some popular celebrity he knew. These people had badly destroyed her as if venting out their years of anger and frustration. Even her flesh was cut out leaving her skeleton sewed through a layer of skin.

Louis wondered, what might have she done to be hated like this?

Whatsoever, even if she was a big shot no one would ever find out about her death, the only possibility if the dead could ever talk.

"Hahahaha!" Prince could no longer hold his burst out and laughed. Surprised by his sudden action, Onyx panicked and asked.

"Something wrong?"

"Nothing, but Lu Jianjun really gets on my nerve," Prince said and continued to laugh without humor.
