Chapter 67 - Talk In Private

"Should I call you Li Na or...?"

'Mei Xing, call me Mei Xing. That's who I am?' Li Na replied in her mind as she bites her tongue hard and held her breath. She was scared the words will rushing out of her mouth and inventing a mess.

Lu Jianjun suddenly stopped as if his lips were sealed. So, she sat quietly, nor accepting or denying any of Lu Jianjun's allegations on her. His sudden silence was not expected but his cloudy dark cryptic eyes were peering something into her dark-chocolate, brown eyes. In that instant, she didn't know if she felt despair or anxiety. His ardent eyes were keen to a lion gazing at his prey.

Li Na wavered slightly before settling. With his overbearing oppressive aura, he's extremely proficient in been self-calm and composed while his words conceive thunders and shaking her grounds. He certainly knows how to raise and make someone's blood boiled, and raising the temperature before shoving them into the freezing zone as if pulling the life out of her and throwing a dead out stack of human flesh.

Lu Jianjun's pupil shrunk as his eyes were fixed on her but his mind was somewhere else. Something strikes him as he sat still for some ten seconds before he threw his head back on the couch and shut his eyes.

Only then after Li Na relaxed a bit. Gaining some color and light in her numb eyes.

She pondered. If she was so worn out and sweating profusely inside her clothes, in front of him then she won't be surprised knowing that well grown-up men wet their own pants due to the unexpected stress and Lu Jianjun's oppression.

He's quite an example and reasons, why you should never mess with the Quiet One. You can't underestimate him nor judge him, cause never know what are his thought or actions on you, because he won't be planning a murder out loud.

Li Na took a deep breath as in a swift movement, she pulled out the woolen cap she was wearing all along. As the tiny vapor of sweat layered her forehead and little strands of her hairs stick on her temples. She doesn't know if it was her own thinking or just a reflection of his thoughts that she heard her name from him. What's that her hallucination?

From the side shores, Lu Junhui was dumbstruck and puzzled.

What did he just hear? His big brother gave some advice to Li Na before saying something which is definitely out of his intelligence limits. But what made him dumb shock was the later part/

His brother was speaking to Li Na about the real Li Na? And asked her to tell him, 'Who is she?' How does that make sense?

But his brother was more confident and convinced when he said that last sentence. 'Should I call you Li Na or...' Or what?

Lu Junhui horrifying and accusingly stared at the girl, somewhat lying and somewhat sitting on the couch, tired and worn out.

After a long muteness and stillness, Lu Junhui was finally able to ingest his brother ominous words. Even if he couldn't, Lu Junhui still chose to blindly believe Lu Jianjun's words, regardless of truth or lie. His brows deepened as his eyes wide with confusion. "Who are you?" he asked as shock clouded his face and his expressions were like he was talking to a living ghost.

Hearing the sound, jolted his senses and Lu Jianjun slowly opened his eyes, his face remained impassive, his blurry gaze directed towards the ceiling as though some thoughts were bugging him, but on the surface, he appeared to be composed. His ears were prepared to perceive her response. And he was in no rush to hear her true confession.

Li Na rolled her eyes at Lu Junhui's question seemingly annoyed to hear the same words again. she first glanced at Lu Jianjun before turning to Lu Junhui and slowly whispering to him, so only the two of them could be heard. "Will you keep quiet for some time, and let me breathe in silence. Can't you see I'm remembering the past." She requested him with a plastered smile whereas Lu Junhui replied with an 'Ohh' sound and nodded for her to continue the process.

Li Na grabbed a side cushion and smacked on her face. She also threw her head on the cushion behind her as worry and dark lines formed on her forehead.

Lu Junhui's face instantly changed, seeing her choking and sandwiching herself. He couldn't help but whisper to her. "Aren't you supposed to taking long breathes?"

Li Na clutched the cushion tightly like choking someone's throat. She gritted her teeth and said, "Aren't you supposed to shut your freaking mouth?" Lu Junhui was taken back from her change of expressions, which were replaced by an icy cold with a murderous hint. He retreated for his own good.

Undoubtedly, she gives Lu Jianjun all the credit for cornering her to the point that she was convinced by him, to just confess everything and put a stamp on his ȧssertions.

After all, he had questioned her intentions not said that he'll sentence her to death if he knows who she is. It was all her heedlessness and him accumulating her knotholes.

Although, she was not stupid and was careful.

'but...It starts with one thing, I don't know why it doesn't even matter, how hard I try, to keep that in mind.'

Expect for her one big mistake. The root cause of all the differences. One little thing led to others. The most studious or idiotic act she did in her entire life which is flirting with this man.

'Oh my, God!! What was I even thinking before offering myself to the fire like a sacrifice? Was I that drunk in his bewitchery?'

Shit!! happens for real.

I can defend about been close to Mei Lein, telling that she is Li Na's cousin sister. But how am I supposed to defend my relationship and personal interest in Zhang Han? It's MY personal interest, not even social interest or celebrity crush thing. I fuċkɨnġ knew Zhang Han's business deals because I'm his fiance and we lived together.

Oh God, Do I really have no option other than exposing my self? Can I trust Lu Jianjun?

Li Na closed her eyes. "Lu Jianjun, can we talk in private?" then she opened her eyes and turn to look at Lu Junhui and added. "Alone?"
