The two stared at each other for a full ten seconds before Li Jie felt a sharp pinch at his waist and quickly scrambled up.

Hua yinyue exclaimed with beads of tears at her eyes "Youuu.. youuu" as she pointed at him with her flushed face.

Li Jie felt embarrassed as he quickly kowtowed to her as he repeatedly apologized "Sorry, sorry, sorry!"

Seeing his cute little face she couldn't bear to taunt him further and swiped the dust off her pink dotted skirt and stared at him with her large round azure eyes.

'What's wrong with this girl,why does she look for familiar?- wait' "What's -- what's your name?"

Hua yinyue threw a confused look before replying in a soft voice "I think it's.. Yinyue, Hua yinyue"

"THE Hua yinyue , the wife of Zhi Huang who was proclaimed dead in the hospital after falling down the stairs by accident?"

'Tch, Zhi Huang is really fast at ruining my moment with Li Jie(Hal).'

"Why?" as she placed her right fist over her mouth and stared at him as if she was a startled little kitten.

'Ah, my heart!' for some reason he was feeling a pain in his heart when he saw her confused and lost look. But a calm old voice soon rang across his head 'Hey kid, do you know her?'

'No, why?' Why was the old ancestor asking him such a question?

'Hehehe, this little girl has an injury at her brain causing a blockage of her arteries leading to long-term amnesia. Hehehe, why don't you accept this fat piece of meat that has been delivered to your doorsteps?'

Li Jie's eyes calmed down as he stared at the pitiful little girl in front of him that was facing the same problems at him, maybe even worse. It seems the news and chatter about the abandoned wife of Zhi Huang were true. Abandoned by the one you loved to another, losing everything in but a day. She was just like him. She was blinded by love and had a crappy husband that couldn't wait to get rid of her.

"Do you know where your house is it?" Hehehe she was pretty cute, taking care of one more person shouldn't be too troublesome.

Hua yinyue stared at him as her eyes dimmed and she rolled circles with her little feet. "No..." she murmured.

But it was just loud enough for Li Jie to hear as he soon replied: "Then do you want to live with me?" Hehehe now it was time to see if the fish would take the bait.

Hua yinyue was laughing inwardly at this unprofessional Hal, he really doesn't know how to con people, how cute!But she had to stay professional at her job as she replied with sap and vigour "Home?!"

Seeing that little angelic face all happy and everything Li Jie couldn't help but sigh a little, hoping that he could take care of her well "Yes, my home is now your home"

Hua yinyue jumped up as she exclaimed "HOME!" as she pulled Li Jie out of the stairs and towards the carpark.

Li Jie sighed helplessly as he exclaimed "Home's this way" before looking up from the stairs to the 4th level and tensing up. "But I think we should consult a priest or something first"

This time Hua yinyue really was too happy that she forgot that his house was just up the flight of stairs as she scratched her head and extended her tongue "oops". Now she also had to walk the extra mile just because of her mischievous deeds.

The old priest was particularly nice and gave each of them a protective charm for $5 each. Not the cheapest but if it gives him the illusion of being safe, it was good enough for her.
