"Come on! Let me come with you guys!" Ophius looks so pitiful right now. He looks like a little child begging to its mother to come along. But one knows that Ophius is only being playful. Whether Aaron agrees or not, Ophius will still come.
Had enough of Ophius pointless whining, Aaron finally gave up. "Fine. But I'm the one riding that bike, you go with Lucia." He said in a firm tone.
"Eh? Why?"
"You're asking me why?" Aaron said as if Ophius' question are the most ridiculous thing he had heard. "My reason is quite obvious, Ophius. I don't want either you and Lucia riding with my sister. Who knows what kind of tactics you two have in mind." Hearing that, Ophius was somehow felt offended by Aaron accusation.
Aaron should not be so cautious of him, he should cautious about Lucia instead. After all, Lucia is the one who sets her eyes on Aaron's twin sister. "Wow. I'm hurt by your words, boss." Ophius said as he place his hand on his chest, acting as if he is in so much pain.
"I don—"
"What do you mean by tactics?! I have no such intention towards Anna! How rude of you, Master!" Before Aaron could even finish his words, Lucia interrupted him with an angry expression.
"Don't act as if you don't have any motives. You and I both know what you have in that mind of yours." Aaron coldly stares at Lucia, but that did not affect Lucia even a bit.
Lucia only pouted in displeasure. Lucia honors every deal that she makes, and even though she hates the deal she made with Aaron, she is still going to honor it. 'A deal is a deal, that's what they said.'
No matter how many hardsh.i.p.s Aaron will give to her, Lucia vows that she will get through this one week deal in one piece. She won't let Aaron have the satisfaction of seeing her collapsing. Having the legendary Mary Adams' blood flowing through Aaron's veins is something one should not let its guard down.
Meanwhile, Nathalia who saw how Aaron and Lucia interact with each other, somehow made her feel insecure. Aaron may be looking at Lucia in a cold way, but there was this certain shine in Aaron's eyes. 'He cares for her.' She inwardly commented.
In Nathalia's perspective, Aaron has never look that way to her. She has never expected Aaron to care for someone else except for his mother and sister. 'This Lucia must be something else.'
"Anna let's go," Aaron called out Anna as he hops on the bike that Ophius used.
Instead of following her brother's order, Anna only looks at him with an expression that is saying: "Are you kidding me?"
Seeing that look on Anna's face, Aaron's brow raises a brow and asks, "What? Is there a problem?"
Anna sighed deeply; her brother truly is dense to something so obvious. Sometimes, Anna wants to smack her brother's head. "What's the problem? Brother, that's the silliest question you have asked me so far. " Pointing at her attire, Anna said, "I mean, look at what I'm wearing. I'm still wearing my school uniform. Do you expect me to ride that bike with this kind of attire? Do you want some perverts looking at my underwear?"
Anna did not expect them to ride a bike towards their destination; if she had known that, then she would have brought some spare clothes with her. 'Damn skirts! Who in the hell decided that girls should wear skirts for school?' Anna inwardly complained.
As a bike lover, Anna really wanted to ride and feel the wind on her skin, but she couldn't do that due to her wearing a skirt. Anna blames her brother and Lucia for not telling her in advance that the ride they are going to use is a bike.
Realizing what his sister's problem is, Aaron, laugh wholeheartedly. His laugh only made Anna frown, "Is this funny to you, brother?" Instead of trying to remove Anna's sour mood, her brother only laughs at her. 'How annoying.'
"I'm sorry. I just thought that it's funny to see you like that." Aaron said as he wipes that tear that is forming in his eyes. "But it's a good thing that you reminded me that you're wearing a skirt."
After saying that, Aaron climbed down from the bike, opens his bad, then taking out a big paper bag. Aaron handed it over to Anna, and Anna accepts the bag with a confused expression. Anna takes a look inside the bag, and she was surprised to see her clothes folded neatly.
"As you can see, dear sister," Aaron started with a smug face, "I already prepared the things you will be needing today. I prepared these clothes just in case of emergencies like this. I was expecting Lucia to bring a car, but she did not."
After telling Lucia his order this morning, Aaron predicted two things that might happen: his first prediction is that Lucia might bring her favorite sports car, and as for his second prediction is that Lucia might come late and decided to bring her favorite motorbike. With his second prediction in mind, Aaron went to his sister's room, packed a shirt, pants, and also a pair of shoes.
Anna was impressed by how her brother is so prepared in everything, but she is not gonna give her brother the satisfaction of her compliment, after all, he did not mention any of this might happen.
"What? No 'good job, brother' or anything like that?" Aaron is slightly disappointed at his sister; she did not even give him a peck on the cheeks for doing such a good job preparing things for her. 'I want justice!'
"No. You don't deserve it. You could have at least tell me in the first place so that I'll prepare the things I need my self." Hearing that Aaron awkwardly smiled; he knew that what his sister just said is right. He should have told her, but that thought slipped away from his mind.
"Too bad." Ophius sighed deeply, "If you're going to wear pants, then I couldn't see more of that fair legs of yours." Ophius suddenly comment; he completely changed the mood.
Not liking Ophius' comment, Aaron went in front of him, and then smacked his head. "Say that again and I'll cut that tongue of yours, you pervert."
