"Where did you guys go?" Nathalia asked as soon as she sees Josh and Zen coming near the group.
"We went to see our teacher, there's a mishap in Zen's grade," Zen looks at Josh with a frown. He is somehow speechless at the excuse he made to deceive Nathalia.
"Mishap in Zen's grade?" Nathalia repeated Josh's words, it is as if she is not believing any of it. "When did you even got any interest in your grades?" It's unusual for Zen to get interested in his grades. He will do whatever he can and whatever the result is, he will accept it.
"I... uh... my mom, she said she'll kick me if I don't focus on my study more," Zen said as he tries not to scratch his head because if he does, it will indicate that he is making excuses; for him right now, it is hard to get rid of his habit.
"Knowing your mother's temperament, I'm sure that she is serious." Sometimes whenever she visits Zen's house, she would always hear his mother saying that he should focus more on his study other than playing basketball and have fun.
"Yup. That is just how my mother is." Now that they are talking about his mother, he suddenly remembered that his mother did warned him about his grades; and the threat was more scarier than kicking him. Not wanting to continue the subject anymore, Zen spoke in a hurry. "So what are you guys were talking about?"
"Oh! We were talking about our class representatives. Anna is quite upset with her brother though." Nathalia chuckled a little bit as she remembers the interaction between Aaron and Anna earlier. The twins dote on each other almost every day and it is unsual to see them are bickering.
"Oh? Why is that?" Zen's attention was caught when he heard that Anna is upset with her brother. For him it is very entertaining whenever the twins are in the situation because the person who suffers the most is Aaron. He can never win against his twin sister, and seeing him like that is giving him the satisfaction.
"It's because my super genius brother over here..." Anna spoke in a sarcastic tone, "...made me the female class representative. Just thinking about it is upsetting me more." As much as Anna wants to strangle her brother, she can't because she doesn't have the guts to do so.
"What's wrong being a class representative?" Josh asked. He felt that Anna should be happy instead of getting angry at her brother. Being picked as the class representative is a rare thing to happen in this school because the students here don't pick people base on the skill, they pick people base on popularity instead. From Josh's perspective, the student in this school is just too stupid and annoying.
"I don't want to be the representative. I'm pretty sure that the students who is going to be part of the event are going to be annoying." Just imagine the glares and scheme of those students are only giving Anna a headache. She still remembers in her past life that Rebecca's dress was torn apart, and it was all done by the person who won the pageant.
'Do I really have to face that? I don't have the energy to do that.' Anna grumbled inwardly.
"I understand." Josh understand Anna's feeling very well. If he were given a chance to kicked out those kinds of students out of the school, then it would be his pleasure to do so.
"Aren't you happy that our classmates did not pick you, Josh?" Zen happily said.
"Of course. They wouldn't dare so or else, something bad will happen to them." Everyone in Josh's class knows that they should not force him to do anything unless he agrees to it; earlier when someone said his name, he immediately said no, and after that, they chose someone else.
They even considered Zen to be their class representative, but knowing Zen's behavior, it is sure that he will never listen and just good around, and thus winning is impossible.
"You're unbelievable, Josh. Even you are like this, the female in our class and some other classes have a crush on you. How is it possible they lime you when you have this kind of attitude?" Zen said with an amused tone. Josh coldly treats everyone else except for Anna and the others, but some girls still have a crush on Josh despite the cold should her is giving to them. Sometimes, Zen even wonders if those girls are a masochist.
"How is it possible?" Josh repeates Zen's question in a ridiculing tone. "That's a dumb question, Zen. They like me because of my handsome look and intelligence." He said without even blinking an eye.
Those who heard Josh can only smile at his narcissistic remark. Other than his coldness to other people, Zen is quite a narcissistic person from time to time.
"Sometimes, you really annoy me, Josh."
"What can I say, Aaron? This is just who I am." The anger that Josh felt earlier when he was facing Elizabeth was now gone. Being with the people who does not have any inttention of betraying one another is making Josh feel at ease.
Anna and Aaron are totally different from Elizabeth; they don't put on a mask just to become friends with someone. Both twins are blunt, and if one doesn't like it, then Anna and her brother don't care whether they stick around or not because they do not need people like that in their life.
As Anna and the others are having a harmonious time together, there are two people who were watching them in disdain.
"Even though I don't like you one bit, it seems to me that you also don't like them." Rebecca's voice was heard, and Elizabeth stared at her nonchalantly. Just like what Rebecca just said, she also doesn't like her one bit. But it seems that they both have the same goal, and that is to ruin the harmonious air Nathalia has with her friends.
"Yes. But among them I have one certain target." Elizabeth doesn't care about the rest because she is sure that she will get them to her side once she has taken care of the person she despises the most.
"Oh? Who is it? You better not be targeting mine." If Elizabeth's target is Anna, then Rebecca will stop her from doing something that will harm her target because she wants to be the one having the satisfaction of seeing Anna in pain.
