"Yes. Of course." Marcus replied.
The twins were silent, but they know what their uncle James wants to talk about with their grandfather. The twins can't help but worry that their grandfather will be persuaded by what their uncle James will say. They know very well that Marcus Coleman has a soft spot when it comes to family.

The twins were the first ones to finish their dinner and the first one to leave the table. They made an excuse that they are going to change their dirty clothes. But in real fact, they are going to their grandfather's study office.
"Brother, what are we doing here?" Anna asked. She is curious why her brother suddenly pulls her inside their grandfather's study office. She is also somewhat nervous. Nobody is allowed to enter this room without their grandfather's permission. If they were caught here, they would be in big trouble with their grandfather.
"We're going to plant a chip here so that we can what they are gonna talk about." When Anna heard that from her brother, she looks at him with a shocking expression plastered on her face. She can't believe that her brother just said that.
"What? Are you crazy?" Anna said in disbelief. As much as she wants to know every detail of the conversation between her grandfather and her uncle, she won't dare to put a chip just to spy on them.
"I'm not. And just in case that uncle James will say something bad about us, then this is the best way I can think of counter attack our uncle." He said truthfully. He knows that what he is planning is wrong and could get him in big trouble if their grandfather saw the chip, but this is the only way he could think of in such a short time.
What her brother said made sense, if their uncle James will say something bad against them or if he says something about their rights of running the family business in the future, their best way to do something about is to what kind of attack they will give to their uncle James.
"If we do this, there is a possibility that grandfather will find this chip in this room. What are we gonna do once he finds out that it is us who put it here?" Anna asked. If her brother thought about putting the chip in their grandfather's study office, then her brother should have a plan to keep them away from trouble.
Hearing that question, Aaron was left on his thoughts. He did not even think that far yet. "We're just gonna remove the chip when they're done talking, and of course, when our grandfather is not here."
"That's an obvious solution, but it seems to me that you're not even sure yourself if it's gonna work."
"Geez! Sister, stop thinking too much." Aaron puts the chip under the table. Its location is enough for them to hear everything.

"Say it, James," Marcus said in an authoritative tone. The moment he heard that his son came over for dinner, Marcus knew right away that James came for a reason.
Ever since James become a teenager, James only approached him whenever James wanted something. And because of that, this made Marcus felt distant with his eldest son.
"Father, I know that we already talk about it, but I don't think that you should leave our family business in Mary's hand. She is only married to a Coleman, she's not a Coleman blood herself." James intentionally mentioned that Mary is related to the Coleman family by blood, he wants to see Marcus' reaction.
Unfortunately, the expectation he expected didn't come. His father only gave him a stare. The same stare that his father used when he objected to Arion to inherit the family business. 'Just because I'm not your real son, you're doing this to me? How about Mary? She's just your son's wife and nothing else. I'm the one who has been with you before Arion was born, and yet you chose Mary who can't even compare to the years that I'm with you?'
"James, I said this before and I'm gonna say it again. It's not always about being the first-born or not, it's about the performance of each individual." Marcus said coldly. "You show good performances in mostly everything in our family business. However, your younger brother and his wife are far better in handling our family business."
Marcus is a businessman and he wants the best result for his family business. It might seem unfair to anyone, but picking Mary and Arion to run the family business is his best choice. He gave James a chance to prove himself to become his heir, but Arion bested James. And he can't do anything about that.
For Marcus, business is business and family is family. He can give anything for James except running the family business and he had told this to James many times, but it seems that James won't accept that reasoning.
"So you would rather let that outsider run our family business?" James asked and he could not hide the anger that is rising up inside him.
"Watch that mouth of yours, son," Marcus growled. "Mary is not an outsider. She is the wife of your brother and the mother of the next heir of our family."
"Next heir? One of the twins? Heh. Father, how are you even sure that Aaron or Anna can handle our family business?" Neither of the twins has the experience to handle a project that involves their family business. In James' mind, he is better than the twins. He has the experience and the twins do not have any experience.
Instead of answering James' question, Marcus questioned him back, "And you think that your daughter can handle our family business? James, I'm sure that you already know that your daughter is more interested to be in the modeling field than to be in the field of business." If Marcus were to speak his true thoughts about James' daughter, he would say that he is disappointed.
Out of the field that Sharon would pick as her career, why would she pick a career that can possibly put her in the mud with just an article? He is not against in the field, but Sharon is part of the Coleman family, and if some journalist wrote a bad article about Sharon, it could put shame into the Coleman family. And of course, Marcus does not want that to happen.
"That may be true, father, but I am pretty sure that the twins are nowhere near the expertise of my daughter." After James said his piece, he turned around and left Marcus' study office.
