"My parents?" Somehow, Juan is having this feeling that something big is going to blow in his face, and because of that feeling, he does not want to continue the talk about his parents. "If your just gonna say nonsense, Anna, then stop it. I'm not in the mood to listen to your crap!"
"No. No. No. I'm not talking nonsense at all." Pulling a chair over, Anna sat in front of Juan. This little action of hers is somehow provoking Juan. "And besides, it's going to be a waste of information if I don't tell you the truth before you die."
Juan should be thanking her instead. Even after all that he did to her, she is still being nice to him by willing to tell him the whole truth about what happened to his parents.
"Yeah. You should really thank us after." Aaron said with a smirk plastered on his face while stood beside his sister.
Aaron can see in Juan's eyes that he is not ready for the truth and that he wants to avoid talking about it. Too bad. Aaron is not the type of person who will hold back just because someone is not ready to hear the truth, a painful truth.
Although he hates to admit it, Aaron is also like Juan in this kind of case. When he heard that his father has a reason for leaving him, his mother, and his sister, he is not willing to hear the truth. The reason for that is because he always believes that his father left for having an affair or he is not willing to take his responsibilities as a father.
Aaron is sure that Juan is in the same mindset as him. All this time, Juan believes that his parents died because that Coleman family killed them. In some ways, Aaron thinks that the Coleman family is also at fault for Juan's parents' death.
The Coleman family has a lot of enemies, and it's natural if one of those enemies will try and attack those who work for the Coleman family. But then again, they have a choice of wanting to stay or wanting to quit for safety measures.
Obviously, Juan's parents chose to stay working for the Coleman family's organization, and their last breath is not exactly a peaceful one.
"What? Why would I thank the both of you?" Since it has come to this, it's no doubt that Aaron and Anna know the reason why he decided to do bad things towards them. "Your family ordered to kill my parents! I deserve to avenge them!"
"Juan, I don't know where you heard that from, but I can assure you that it's not my family who ordered men to kill your parents," Anna said in a matter of fact tone. During that time, the one who is ruling over the Coleman Organization is her grandfather. And the only time her grandfather would make a task to kill someone is when that someone betrayed the organization.
"Don't you dare say that! I know what heard and what I saw! I saw those men kill my parents and I heard them say your family name!" Every night and every time Juan closes his eyes, he remembers his mother screaming in pain and his father trying to endure the pain.
"What you saw is the truth, but I can assure you that what you heard is wrong information." Not wanting to let Juan blame her family any longer, Anna puts down a tablet on the floor and let Juan watch all the videos that she saved.
One of those videos shows how loyal Juan's parents are towards her grandfather. Anna observed Juan's face as he watches it. There's a hint of disgust, shame, and hatred in his eyes. It's clear that he is not accepting all these facts. He is avoiding facing the facts that are in front of him.
"So what," Juan started. "Just because they were loyal, that does not mean that your grandfather did not order his men to kill my parents. Don't even try to cover up your grandfather's dirt!"
"I'm not hiding my grandfather's dirt, Juan. Your parents got killed because they are loyal to my family's organization. One of my family's enemies knew about your parents and attacked them, and who they might be? I don't know the answer to that." Anna said the truth. She truly has no idea who killed Juan's parents. Her family's organization made a lot of enemies, and it's hard to keep track of who is who.
"At this point, we don't really care if you believe our words or not because in the end, you'll be nothing but a memory for us." As soon as this night is over, Aaron and his sister won't ever have to think about Juan's next attack. Juan will no longer be a threat to them.
"Can we start now? I'm getting sleepy with all these talks." Zen spoke in a bored tone. He has been waiting all night to Juan suffer from the twins' hands, and so far, the only that he is seeing right now is the talk about who's the real killer of Juan's parents. And if they keep talking about that, Zen is afraid that he might not be able to keep his eyes open.
"You heard that? My friend said that he's bored now. I should listen to what our viewers are saying, right?" After saying that, Anna went towards the big bag her brother carried all the way here and took out a box that is full of sharp daggers. "Oh yeah. Before I forget, I should really thank you for entering my life. If it weren't for you and Rebecca, I wouldn't be the person that I am now."
Rebecca and Juan might be the most hated person in her life, but she is a little bit thankful for what they have done to her. Without their wicked schemes and making her open her eyes towards reality, she would not be the same person she is now. Without them, she would still be the same Anna she was before, the big disappointment of the Coleman family.
Juan was confused by what Anna meant by that. He senses that Anna has a deep meaning behind her words. As much as he wants to know what she really means by that, he couldn't voice out his words because of the fear taking over his body.
Sharp blades and all sorts of equipment that is used for torturing people are being placed in front of him.
"Since I'm in a very good mood, I'll let you choose which of these items would you like to try first." Anna said sweetly as a cold smile appeared on her face.
