"Since you two have all the evidence in your capable hands, would you mind telling us who are the pests in our family." Martha knows that there are members of the family who wants more power and money, however, she didn't actually expect to actually have a scheme to achieve their goal.
She can't stand. She just can't stand it. She, Marcus, and everyone else who is still loyal to the family has been working hard to protect their family beliefs and reputation. Yet, those schemers, those pests, are ruining all their hard work by planning to take over everything just to satisfy their own greed.
"W-Wait!" James who caught on what the twins are trying to achieve today suddenly shouted. The way that the twins are looking at his way, it's not that hard to notice that the person they are talking about is him and his associates.
"Wait? What is there to James? The twins are going to show us the truth, why are you trying to stop them from doing that?" One of the elders who are really upset that there are pests in the family could not help but glare at James.
The loyal members of the family all want to know who are the traitors, and what James is doing is wasting time.
"H-How can we be sure that twins' words are the truth. We can't just believe their words immediately. And what if their evidence is fake? Remember, they are young teenagers. Young teens these days are full of pranks."
Marcus noticed that desperate tone in his eldest son's voice and the first thing that cross his mind is that his son has something to do with the pests the twins are talking about. Without even noticing it, his hands are shaking.
He fears that his guesses are correct and if it is, he would not know how to overcome it.
Arion is standing right next to Marcus, and he put a hand on his father's shoulder. It pains to see his father being so vulnerable. All his life, his father has been the strongest man he has ever known and the only times his father is like this is when their beloved family has a problem that he can't emotionally handle.
Marcus felt Arion's hand and somehow, it made him feel a little bit at ease. Without a doubt, Arion already know is the ring leader of these pests. Marcus wouldn't blame Arion for not telling him because he knows that Arion is the same as him.
It's hard to face everything when the one they are facing at is a member of the family their family.
"James is right! How can we trust these kids' words when there are so many possibilities that all of these are just a prank." Marietta felt danger when the twins are talking about the traitors of the family.
A side of her believes that the twins do not have concrete proof that she's one of those traitors, but there is also a side of her that says that she should believe it and must find a way to escape the bad end of the traitors.
Whether it's one of those two sides, Marietta is determined to make the other believe that the twins are only pulling pranks and must not be taken so seriously.
"Elder Marietta, you think that my brother and I took all the trouble to get all of you here just to pull pranks? Do you not know my grandfather? He is the strictest man I have ever known in my entire life, I do not have the guts to go against him especially when I'm not in the position to do so." Anna didn't hide the fact that she is irritated by Marietta.
If Marietta wants to see a bad side of her, then she will gladly do so. From now on, Anna will not bother herself to respect an elder like Marietta. It might seem bad to other people's line of sight, however, she does not care. Marietta is the one who is at blame for that.
Anna is trying hard to respect her, but Marietta is desperate to see her bad side, and Anna is willing to make her wish come true.
"We may be teens and we may have pulled some pranks on others, however, we do not condone ourselves to do any mischief on these kinds of occasions. My sister and I know our limits, and we don't intend to push ourselves to do something that could cost us." Aaron added more words to defend himself and his sister.
Whenever they wanted something, their grandfather always tells them to work hard if they really needed it. Like Aaron's car, he has to finish quite the number of missions in order to have his own car.
The only times that the twins get things from their grandfather without working hard for it is on their birthday or a celebration that is dedicated to either one of them.
'Old woman, you think you can make us feel discouraged by saying that? Heh. You've got some nerves.' Aaron inwardly said.
"Are they really at the right age?" Arion whispered to his wife, but she glared at him as a response, meaning that she did not like his question. "I mean, the way they speak is like they're on a politic argument or something." Although he is proud of his children, he still couldn't help but ask that question.
"Ever since I took over the family business I didn't have much time to spend with our kids, and the only person who is mostly around the twins is your father. They most likely got their way of talking from him." Mary explained.
Whenever it is business related or having a serious conversation, Marcus has always been talking like that. It is no wonder if the twins are talking the same way as Marcus. Mary is somehow thankful that twins don't use that way of talking in their everyday life.
"Maybe they should spend more time with me. They might learn how to have fun like me." Just the thought of having a good time with his children is making Arion excited.
"No. They'll only get bored by staying with you all the time." Even as parents, Mary understands that her way of having fun is different from her children's perspective. Time has changed and so is the way teenagers are now. They can have fun together, but it's not like that all the time.
Back on Anna and Aaron's side, the twins are now preparing are now attaching their device to the big TV screen in the room. As they are doing that, James' heart is pounding so fast, he has no idea what to do.
While James is suffering on the inside, Marietta and Rent went on his side to have a discussion on the twins' plans.
"James, aren't Aaron is under training with you these past few days? Can't you just use that as a way for us to escape just in case they do have evidence against us?" In Marietta's thinking, if the twins do have evidence of what they are planning to the Coleman family, they can use Aaron as their scapegoat.
They can say that Aaron put all those evidence just to frame her, her husband, and James. If they are able to pull that off, Aaron will no longer have the right to fight for the next succession and their original plan will continue on. As for Anna, they don't have to worry about her that much because in her opinion Anna is nothing without her brother. It's going to be their win.
"It's a good plan, Aunt, however, it's not that easy. I don't have evidence to prove that Aaron is framing us." James sighed frustratingly. Marietta is good at making up plans, but she is bad at giving details on how to do it.
Marietta has been living alongside the Colemans longer than he did. Can she even come up with a plan that can actually fool his father and Martha?
"W-we can tell them to give us a few days to prove our innocence and with that, we have time to prove that Aaron is trying to frame us." Desperate, Marietta further explained by what she and James should do. Even her husband is agreeing to her plan.
"You just don't get it, do you?" James frustratingly asked. "We can't do anything. Even if they agree to let us prove our innocence, my father and aunt Martha will have their investigation. They have resources that we don't have."
To shorten it, there is no way for them to do anything else. The twins got them cornered the moment they announced that there are traitors in the family. With his hands shaking, James inwardly said, 'You two played your game too well.'
Marietta groaned that the only thing they could do right now is to hope that the twins' so-called evidence doesn't pinpoint to any of them. "This is why I told you to kill your father the moment you had the chance to do so."
