"I'm in awe." Anna's eyes shined brightly as she stared at the picture hanged on the wall. "Our family has such a legacy that I didn't know about. Brother! Isn't this amazing or what?!" Anna excitedly stared at her brother.
"I don't that word is enough to describe is, Anna. But I do agree with you." Aaron is also in awe as he stares at every antique that indicates the history of his family. Ever since little, his grandfather kept telling him how great their family is.
As he grows up, he started to believe that his grandfather was exaggerating about how great their family is. He even thinks that the only greatness his family has is their power and wealth in society. And he is not particularly proud to brag about it.
"Why are you showing this to me?" Anna asked Martha. These kinds of secrets are usually only shown to the successor of the family. As for her, who is only just a member of the family does not have the right to see all these secrets.
"Anna," Martha sighed. "You're not the heir of this family, however, you are a precious member of that family. You proved your worth. Whether you are an heir or not, you deserve to know all of this. Don't look down on yourself just because of the position that you have."
Even now, Martha is still can't believe that Anna truly has no interest in wanting to compete with her brother.
Growing up, it was hard for her because she's a female. Most people that surround her, looks down on her. They don't think that she has the capability to lead and to be successful because of that, she convinced herself that she will prove them wrong.
Every single day for her back then was a struggle. In her studies, in sports, and her social standing in the society, she aimed for the top. She made sure that her parents recognize all of her hard work and that her brothers are nothing compare to her.
After all of her hard work, she was recognized and she is able to build her own company. To those who looked down on her, she didn't give a single glance when they approached her. As for her siblings, she only gave them a cold shoulder and never helped them when they asked her. 'They deserved it. Just because I'm a woman that does not mean they have the right to say that I'm can't be on the same standing as them.'
"She's right, Anna. Besides, we're a pair. If I'm allowed to see something incredible as this, then so do you." Back when they were around either or nine, he was always surrounded by people. People who already thinks that he's heir just because he is a boy.
Those people gave him a lot of things, and as a young boy, he liked those things. But after he saw that his sister didn't receive anything from them and was ignored by them, he felt guilty.
When he asked one of those people why they are only paying attention to him and not to his sister, that person said to him that they don't pay attention to her because she is a girl. Hearing that, he got upset and said to the man that he and his sister were born together on the same day and that they should be receiving the same equal treatment.
After those people heard his response, they only laughed at him and said that he shouldn't be thinking like that. His sister was there, and she heard everything. Since that day, whenever they are together in the same place, she never smiled around him, and when she does smile, it was a fake smile. His young mind told him that Anna grew to hate him, and that made him sad.
As the years pass by, he's been thinking a way to make his sister not give him any fake smiles. He avoided those people who said those words to her, he refused to receive any gifts other than what he gets from his family, and even keeping a safe distance for her not to feel uncomfortable.
He tried everything, but in the end, he didn't get what he wanted. However, on the day of his grandfather's birthday, he was really shocked to receive a warm hug from her. There was no hint of fakeness from that hug. He even felt like he was about to cry from so much happiness.
He didn't know what happened or what he did for her to suddenly change her way of treating him, but he couldn't care less as long as he and his sister are in great harmony.
'I'm not gonna let anyone get in between Anna and I.' Arion inwardly declared.
"Well... if you say something like that, then what rights do I have to question it?" Anna said. She feels warm and fuzzy in her heart hearing those words from her brother.
Looking at the affection that the twins have for each other, Martha can't help but smile. She didn't have a good relationship with her siblings, but her cousin, Marcus is the closest person she can call her brother.
While Martha is staring at the twins, a thought suddenly popped in Anna's mind. "I know I shouldn't be asking too much about your private life, elder Martha, but how do you know about this place?"
If the heir of the Coleman family is only allowed to see this place, then how is it possible for Martha to know about it and on top of that, she's the one introducing it to them. 'Obviously, someone showed it to her, but who exactly.'
"The most obvious answer to that question is your grandfather. He took me here." Martha still remembers what happened after Marcus showed this place to her. They both got into big trouble, and the punishment was not a good experience for either of them.
"Well then, no other question?" She asked, but before either of the twins say a word she continued to speak. "Good. Since there is no question, you two shut your mouths while I'm talking. Got it?"
For the next two hours or so, Anna and Aaron listened intently to everything that Martha has to say about their family legacy.

"This suit is itchy. Can I not wear this?" Arion complained as he looks at himself in the mirror, then he glanced at his wife who is currently rubbing her forehead.
"Arion for the last time, I want you to stop complaining! Your complaints are giving me headaches! Seriously! Just stop it." She has no idea if her husband is doing this on purpose, but she is not liking it.
Since the meeting from earlier, her husband just can't shut his mouth. She even asked herself, why is she with her husband this whole time. She could have just let someone else accompany her husband.
"Arion, you're acting like a child right now. What is the problem?" Marcus who just arrived asked Arion. Even though Arion hates public appearances, he never once complained like this. And when he does it most likely because he is angry about something.
"It's about that other son of yours. He's definitely getting into my nerves." Every time that Arion remembers that conversation James had with that unknown person, Arion regrets not killing James at the moment when he found out James' true colors.
Marcus sighed. He is not particularly happy that Arion is now itching to kill James, but it is what it is. There is nothing he can do about it. James did a lot of bad things, and he can't defend him anymore. In fact, he is tired of defending James. He will let fate to go do its job.
"Arion, I understand. However, you can't let this bother you on this very important day. Besides, you will only be there for at least an hour. Think of it like for the greater good of your children's future." Convincing his son to focus his whole attention into one thing is hard. The only thing he can think of that can work is to say that it's for Mary's or his children's sake.
"Fine. I'll do it," Arion said with a grunt. If his father uses that kind of reason in every important thing that he must do, then, of course, he will do it without any hesitation. 'I hope he won't use that reason often.'
An hour has passed and the press conference has started. Everyone in a big spacious room is patiently waiting for the Colemans to arrive. They have no idea what this is all about, but the one thing they all know is that it's going to be something big. Bigger than what they could have imagined.
"Hey, can you guess what the Coleman's is going to announce today?" Asked one of the reporters.
"The only thing that I could think of is that the Colemans will probably announce their union with the Robertson family." Since Anna and Kyle are quite frequent in the media nowadays, this is the only reasoning that most of the reporters can think of.
