Chapter 493 - Revenge 494: You're A Bad Teacher

Name:REBORN: Revenge Author:C_J_Taganna
Nighttime, everyone is present at the dining table. They are all enjoying each other's company.

"How was your visit to the Old Mansion?" Marcus asked. He wanted to show the twins about their family legacy, but his schedule didn't allow him to do so. He even asked Martha to postpone it until his schedule is fixed, but Martha insisted and there is nothing he can do about it.

"It was fun! I learned a lot. Who knew that the technologies from the past can be so interesting." Anna's eyes sparkled as she remembered exploring the collection of technologies in that hidden room.

The only sad part of that trip is that she didn't have the chance to see all of it. When she has free time on her hands, going back to that hidden room will the first thing she would do.

"I see. If you're that interested in those old junks, then I guess I will have to show you my personal collections." It rare for Marcus to see someone as young as Anna to be interested in old technologies. Young ones nowadays are only interested in new and in trend things., be it clothing or gadgets.

If they see an old technology, they will most likely not pay attention to it and go on with their lives. In Marcus' opinion, it's quite sad that there is not a lot of people who like to learn more about the world's history.

"How about you, Aaron? You seem awfully quiet. Did you not like your trip over there?" Marcus wouldn't blame Aaron for not liking it. Not everyone can be the same as Anna. Furthermore, Aaron likes to do things in action than listening to some history.

"It's not like that, Grandfather." Aaron sighed. "I was just thinking that the reason why we have a lot of enemies lurking around is that our family has such a history, adding to the fact that one of our ancestors cause so much trouble with some big named mafia families." What happened in the old times didn't bother Aaron at all, in fact, he is quite fascinated by it. However, his great-great-grandfather did something that really bothered him.

'Is he that crazy? Why did he pick a fight with those mafia families? Is he wishing for the Coleman family to collapsed or something?' No matter what angle he looks at, Aaron can't see any reason for that man to cause so much trouble other than that he is crazy for doing so.

"I see." Marcus faintly smiled. "Don't worry too much about that, Aaron. Let us a.d.u.l.ts do the worrying job. The only thing that you should be worried about is how you make the people in the organization and the people in our family business accept you."

There is already too much on Aaron's plate. Marcus doesn't want to add more to it by letting Aaron worry about the problem they are having now. Having too much will most likely break his grandson down sooner or later.

"Your grandfather is right, son." Arion suddenly spoke. "Of course, in the future, you will have to worry about our enemies moves, but right now, focus on one thing first. That's the only thing you could for us right now."

They have so many problems and they have yet found a way to solve at least one. Their problems are piling up to the point it's making Arion thinks that someone is setting this whole thing up. 'I'm hoping that I'm only imagining things.'

"If that's what you want me to do, then I will do as you say." For Aaron, it is frustrating for him that he can't do anything to help his parents. He has the title of being their heir, but there is nothing he can do.

Anna stared at her brother for a moment, then she looks at his trembling hand under the table. She reached out to his hand. She understands why he is feeling that because she also feels the same way. This kind of feeling is making her think of how useless she was back in her past life.

She was living her life, she had no idea that these kinds of trouble were happening inside her family. She feels ashamed just thinking about it.

Aaron felt a warm palm rested on his hand. He glanced at Anna, and he saw her smile. 'Anna, you're trying to make me feel better, but it seems like you needed it more than me.' He inwardly said.

"Anyways, Arion..." Marcus called his son's name. "What's the progress with your current mission?" He may not be the leading the organization anymore, but he still would like to know about everything that's happening.

"Well... so far, everything is going as planned and by tomorrow Mary, the other, and I are going to infiltrate the place and out more. After that, whether they are the enemies or not, that mafia family will go down." Their organization's name might be infamously known by some people works under the law, their organization's job is still somewhat similar to what those people do. They take down notorious groups of people.

"I see. I'm sure everything will turn out fun for you guys." No matter how hard the missions are, his son and his friends always find a way to make things fun. That side of them sometimes makes him feel restless.

"Fun?" Anna curiously asked.

"You don't have to know the details. But the only thing you should know is that be always serious when you go to your mission. Don't ever be like us. Ever." Mary firmly said to her. She, her husband, and her friends are always doing reckless things in their missions. That's why they always get into trouble with Harrison.

Sometimes, they even scare themselves for what they did.

"Yes. You two should listen to your mother." Arion nodded.

Their night went on. They stopped talking about their mission, training, or anything that is related to the organization and their problem, they instead had a normal conversation that every family does. It is one of those nights that can make them feel in peace and there is nothing for them to worry about.

"Anna! You weren't here at all yesterday! My father said that you and Arion will able to make it, but obviously, you two didn't. Did something happened?" For the twins missed out on their training is quite a shock to Nathalia.

As far as she knows, Anna and Aaron are obsessed with honing their skills. Missing one day of training is not how the twins do things. Of course, if something bad did happen, then it would be understandable.

"You're worrying for nothing, Nathalia. Nothing bad happened to Aaron and I. In fact, we both had a lot of fun that we forgot to come." Anna said with a reassuring smile plastered on her face. She and her brother were focused on what happened yesterday to the point they forgot their whole schedule.

After they have realized that they missed a day of training with Leonardo, they both panicked. Even now, they are slightly panicking because, on the very first day of training, Leonardo already told them that if they missed a single day of training, there will be a punishment that needs to be paid.

"Hey, Anna," Aaron called her out. "I think we both don't need to worry about our punishment today." Aaron is grinning from ear to ear. He just got a message from his mother that one of the people who are coming along to their mission today is Leonardo.

The fact that Leonardo is with his mother for the whole would also mean that Leonardo is going to be here to punish him and his sister. He was so happy to the point that he thanked his mother.

Anna read her mother's message and is also feeling happy about such news. She even hugged Nathalia, which caused Nathalia to be confused. "What was that all about?" Nathalia asked.

Ignoring Nathalia's question, Anna spoke. "Why didn't you tell us that your father is not going to be here today?"

Nathalia is even more confused now. "What are you talking about? My father is not coming today?" Now that she is thinking about it, her father told her to go to this place first because there is some matter that he needed to take care of first.

She thought that it will take for a little while so she didn't ask him for details. Who knew that his 'matter' would make him not come today.

"Yes. That is right, young lady. Your father is not coming today." A sudden voice startled everyone, especially Zen. "For the next three days, I will be taking over Leonardo's job on training all of you." From the way he sounded, he doesn't seem willing to be their temporary teacher.

"You'll be our temporary teacher? But you're a bad teacher, Dad." Zen said with a frown.

"How rude of you to say that to your own father!"
