"You're the bad guy, and I'm not saying that my friends and I are the good guys either, but we don't do the same things as you and your people do."
Mary threw her dagger towards the man, and it scratched the man's face. The man was scared out of his wits when that dagger didn't go directly to his face. He can tell that Mary purposely did that to scare him.
He is already scared and is wishing to die already. What is the point of putting more fear in him?
"Come on now, Mary. I think you can do better than that. Out of all of us, you have the best accuracy at aiming your targets." Mike playfully said.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was preoccupied with my own thoughts."
Had enough of their playfulness, Arion sighed, then he said, "Stop it you two. Finish this quickly and let's get out of here immediately. I can't stand the smell of this place any longer." A people who reside and guarding this place were killed, and some managed to escape.
In their usual raid, Mary and her friends don't let anybody escape from them. But in this case, when time is what really matters to them, it's doesn't matter if some managed to flee.
Letting at least one person escape could mean that person might want to have revenge, but it will be hard for that person to have his revenge because every asset of this Mafia family will be donated to those who really needed it. And there will be no traces will be found that could lead to them.
The revenge that those people might want to do is not easy to achieve.
"Fine. Let's go then." The fun Mary was feeling earlier immediately depleted the moment her husband spoke. She wishes to make this man suffer more, but it is not going to happen.
All of them turned their back around and left the room one by one. But before Mike left the room, he said one last statement to the man, "We've decided to let you leave and let the police handle you, and please, don't even think that the police will let you free because all of the crimes that you did, the police already have all the evidence that they need. And remember, if you try doing anything bad again, we will come for you."
From this day forward, this certain man would rather be stuck inside a cell than go outside. He is afraid that if he took one step outside of his cell, Mary and the others will come back to finish what they started.

"What did you just say, Father?" Arion frowns as he talks to his father over the phone. He is having a hard time taking in the news that he just received from his father. "I got it. Mary and I will be home as soon as possible."
As soon as the call ended, Mary went beside him and asked. "What happened?"
Basing on how her husband sounded earlier, Mary can only guess that something bad might have happened back home.
"It's the twins. They did something and I don't know whether I should be happy with that or not." What the twins got from that mission is quite a significant information, but at the same time, it's causing so much worry for Arion.
A year hasn't yet passed since the day he reunited with his family, and it is definite that he is not ready to see either one of his family members to lose their life, especially his children.
"Once we get home, I'm going to forbid the twins from going out. The only times they are allowed to go out is when going for their training, school, and if there is a special occasion that needed their presence." Arion felt like he and his wife are being too soft on their children lately.
Letting them go so easily when they are at fault. 'This can't go on...'
"For you to make that decision, the twins really did cross the line this time? Can you please tell me what they did?" There is a part of Mary that doesn't want to know what the twins did. But as their mother, she needed to know what the details before letting Arion do what he plans to do.
His wife is definitely not gonna like what she's going, but she has all the right to know. Arion took a sighed, and took slowly told Mary everything that his father told him. As he told her everything, her facial expression changed.
That facial expression is something that he doesn't want to see. Ever. 'Well, looks like I'm going to let my wife do the talking with the twins then.'
Mary turned around, then faces her friends. Leo and the others were slightly startled at the way Mary is looking at them. They looked at each other and their gazes seem to be asking on which one of them made Mary angry.
"Do your things faster, I need to go home fast." She said.
They supposedly went straight home the moment they left their target's place, but they decided to stop by somewhere else to retrieve some things that they hid years ago.
Her friends didn't ask the reason why she's making them hurry. They know that if they ask her, she will be venting her anger at one of them. The only thing that they can do now is to wonder what made her angry.
"Don't mind her. Take as much time that you guys needed. There's no rush." In Arion's opinion, it's better to calm his wife first before going home. She might do or say something that she will regret later on.
"What really happened, Arion?" Leonardo asked.
Arion shakes his head and said, "I rather not talked about it while Mary is around. It's not good to make her more upset than she is not."
"Arion, you know, you talking like that is giving me the creeps. In the past, you've never acted like this." Alfonso shows a facial expression that says he feels terrified and disgusted at how Arion is acting today.
Since the beginning, Arion doesn't seem to be enthusiastic about them going on a mission. As a matter of fact, ever since Arion came back, Alfonso felt that someone is lacking in Arion.
'There is something Arion is hiding from everyone and I get the feeling that he is not willing to talk about it. What really happened to him these past years?'
"Shut it, Alfonso. I only act like this when it comes to my beloved wife." Arion sensed that Alfonso caught that he's been hiding something, so he immediately changed his tone.
"Gross. Go away, Arion." Mike frowned and shooed Arion away. He too loves his wife very deeply, but he's never been the one to express his love for his wife that way, especially if it's in front of other people.
Mike is really thankful that his wife is not the type to want him to show his affection like the way Arion is doing it.
"Meanie." Arion pouted, then he walks away.

"We're in so much trouble when Mom gets home. I can already see my future." Aaron mumbled to himself, but Anna, Lucia, and Ophius heard him loud and clear.
Of course, Aaron is not the only one who's worried about what is going to happen when Mary gets back, the rest is also silently praying to the Gods above to only let Mary scold them and not do anything other than that.
"Why am I here? Can I just go home?" Ophius said. He is not even Mary Coleman's son. He doesn't understand the purpose of him staying at the Coleman mansion waiting for Mary to come back home.
"You already know the answer to that, Ophius. There is no need for you to ask that dumb question." Lucia replied in an annoyed tone.
"I know... but still, I can't believe this. This is your fault in the first place! Why am I getting punished like this, huh?!" He already the best he can to keep Lucia away from trouble, but to think that this is happening to him because of one thing that Lucia forgot to do is too humiliating and upsetting to him.
"Well, I can't deny that any of this is not my fault, but who told you to come along with me in the first place?" Initially, whether or not she got permission for taking the mission, Ophius is the one who volunteered to come along with her. She didn't even want his presence around her.
"Excuse you?! It was your father and my father who told me to stick to you like glue. To keep you out of trouble. But look where are now. We are in trouble!"
Does his face look like he's the type to babysit a teenager like Lucia? Of course, not. He likes Lucia, that fact won't change, but sticking with her like glue is not making him happy.
'If only I had a right excuse, I wouldn't be in this situation.'
