Chapter 406: A powerful Clash

In fact, she wouldn't truly die, as she was a Vampire, and no matter what happened her body would start to regenerate and recover.

But she would definitely suffer a heavy injury and would lose a considerable part of her strength to recover.

In this situation losing strength was the same as dying, that was why she thought she had totally lost at that moment.

Just as that gloominess overcame her, and she thought that most likely she would end up dead in this battle, her sword disappeared from her hand, as a small knife appeared.

It was a truly well-crafted knife, with exquisite details, and truly beautiful, but the most important characteristic wasn't its craftsmanship and details, but the sense and power it gave.

The Ruthless Princess wasn't calm enough to sense that, as she was more startled from what had just happened, and just used it instinctively.

She had lost all hope of being able to escape this attack unscathed, as she could only hope that she didn't get too injured in this exchange.

Of course, an important thought at that moment was the anger and hate she had towards Tianlong Yun who not only didn't help her but was even trying to get her killed.

If she escaped from this alive, she would surely try to make him pay about this, even though it seemed more like a pipe dream in her state and condition.

Even though she didn't want to accept that this was happening, she had no escape route in this, as that would make matters worse right now.

Still, that just made her even more willed to use every ounce of strength, and Qi she possessed in her body, and try to block the attack coming for her neck.

Her body started to quickly transform as a pair of bat wings appeared behind her, and her nails had elongated a lot, as she even released her ultrasound vibration attack.

Even though she knew that the ultrasound attack would be useless against her enemy, since the Werewolves had some kind of resistance to it, she was thinking it would still amplify her attack a bit.

What she didn't expect was that her Qi was flowing really smoothly, and quickly inside the knife that had appeared in her hand, as it even amplified her attack.

It was something totally unexpected to her, as it seemed that the aura and the pressure her knife was demonstrating was at least 40 or 50 times her enemy's sword.

It was incomprehensible to her at the moment, as it looked just like some kind of decorative knife, and nothing more.

Sensing this and seeing her attack amplified by the knife, made her almost inexistent confidence shot up in the sky, as she went for the clash.

The Thirteenth Princess had been like an onlooker to this entire situation, as she went through a rollercoaster of feelings.

Everything that the Ruthless Princess had felt she felt it in reverse, as her feelings of power, and loftiness turned into despair, and loss.

The only thing she could do right now was to try and transform herself too, as fur started covering her body, and her ears turned into wolves' ears, and her pupils became silver.

But that wasn't the only thing she did, as she couldn't help but scream,

"Elders please help me!"

She knew that she had already lost the battle if she fought alone, so she had to ask for help from her tramp cards.

The moment she screamed like that, more than 4 shadows appeared in the surroundings, as they jumped towards the clash by her side.

The 4 shadows seemed more powerful than their princess, as they were at least one big Realm stronger than their princess, but even they didn't dare to take that strike lightly.

The situation that seemed to have reversed at that moment, got reversed once again. Still, the Ruthless Princess couldn't retract back her attack.

Her only option was to proceed forward, and believe in some kind of miracle to happen, as finally, her attack clashed with her enemies' attacks.

Even before the attacks happened there were sparkles going around, but when it finally happened, there was a huge blinding light, and pure silence.

It felt like nothing had happened, but it took only one small moment for that silence to turn into an extremely terrible 'booomm~' sound, as the impact started to spread around.

Immediately after the dust and debris started to spread all around the area, as even the soldiers that were fighting far away from them were sent flying in different directions.

It was just like a nuclear explosion happening right beside them, as even the strongest of them could only escape with heavy injuries.

Nobody had expected something like this to happen, as when they had sensed it, they were already too late to even try to escape.

Seeing their state and condition like that, the condition of the people involved directly in the attack could be imagined.

In fact, the elders that were later involved in the clash should have been able to escape this situation better than they were, but they had spent most of their strength to protect their princess.

For that reason, the Thirteenth princess who was supposed to be injured the most was the least injured among them.

On the other hand, the elders that had tried to protect her, and were more concerned about her safety, had finished with injuries, which most were only external, but they had also some internal ones.

The impact had been bigger than they had expected, as in a sense they had underestimated the generated force, and momentum during the clash, for that reason they had ended up worse than they should.

They had a lot of cuts and scratches over their skin, but most importantly a few had some of their inner organs injured.

On the other side, the Ruthless Princess was just as expected in the worse situation possible. Her body was full of cuts, and bruises, made from the generated winds, and the debris.

But that wasn't all, as she even had a few bones broken, as even her internal organs had turned into some kind of mushy paste.

She didn't even have enough strength to get up and stand, as all her energy and strength were used to her recovery and regeneration.

Still, even though she had been fighting against five, and she had morally won the duel with her enemy, she still wasn't happy.

She was unresigned, she didn't want to die like this in that place. She had much more to live, and much more to do.

Weirdly in those moments, she was remembering her time of pleasure with Tianlong Yun. She didn't know why she had to remember that precisely now, but it felt like her mind needed him.

She knew that probably she held no value for him, but still she was expecting him to help her, to save her from her certain death situation.

As she was thinking like that, she heard a calm and clear voice that left her stunned for a few moments.

In front of her, the Thirteenth Princess and the other four elders were trying to recollect themselves after what happened, and also try to take care of their injuries.

Even though she had come out unscathed from that earlier attack, that lofty appearance of the Thirteenth Princess had long left her face.

In fact, right now she had an extremely terrifying face, one of clear anger, hate, jealousy, and a bit of fear.

If it weren't for the other 4 elders a few moments ago, she would have certainly ended the one who was on the verge of death right now, and not the Ruthless Princess on the ground.

Knowing that she had been almost killed by someone who shouldn't be her opponent, especially after her last breakthrough, she was angry. Really angry.

How was something like this even possible!? She should have been able to finish this without a problem, and yet she had ended up in that position.

Still, the important bit was that she had been able to prevail, and not be the one who was in dire straits.

After all, intelligence is part of one's skills and abilities, so while the results weren't as expected they weren't truly bad either.

It was a difficult win, that was true, but at least it was now over, and she was able to complete her mission.

With this woman's head, her reputation in the palace should get a huge boost, and she would then be able to openly state her intention for the throne.

Nobody would dare to reject or refuse her intentions, as the mechanisms were already in motion for her to become the next Ruler of the Werewolves.

In fact, the Werewolves more than a kingdom were a big clan with one head as their King, Patriarch, and Leader of the pack.

Nobody doubted the words of their Leader, as they would even jump to the flames if they were asked to.

The Thirteenth princess clearly had her own interests and ambitions to become one, as she would do anything to achieve it.

Even the people accompanying her at the moment were all her trusted people. They had all pledged their loyalty to her and worked only by her orders.

Well, that was for the future, right now she had to give an end to this stupid situation, as she had decided to take the Ruthless Princess alive from that place.

With those thoughts in mind, she made a sign towards the four elders that started walking towards the target, when they suddenly stopped because they felt a strange smell in the air…
