It was truly a baffling situation even for the old man, as both of those thoughts would bring him immense grief, and startle.
This was the first time he was seeing someone face such a deadly attack with his physical body alone, it was something he would have never imagined possible.
That alone was to make him feel frightened to death, such a monstrosity, such a monster should be impossible to exist.
Yet there he was in front of him acting like his full-strength attack had been nothing more than a scratch to his itching skin.
As if that wasn't enough, there was also that big missile hanging on his waist, and most probably that was in its slumbering moment.
At that moment he even forgot his hate for a moment and was grieving at the Heavens for being so unfair, and treating some people so good, and others so bad.
He truly didn't know what to make of it, but the next moment he was reminded of the monstrosity in front of him, and totally forgot about that.
Still, this had to be some kind of strange luck, or fluke that happened once in a lifetime, he didn't know how he had achieved it, but sure as hell he wouldn't be able to do it again, would he?
With this thought in mind, he once again gathered any ounce of Qi and power he could from his entire body and sent the same attack towards Tianlong Yun once again.
This time he was sure that he was going to burn this guy to a crisp, while the space ring was still special and precious for him, his life was even more.
Right now, he was in danger with his own life on the line, so he couldn't think much about those happy dreams of being wealthy and unrivaled under the sky.
Tianlong Yun just stayed there without moving, or even showing any intention to move, right now he was testing the limits of his physical body, and scales.
While on the outside it seemed like he hadn't suffered anything, or that he was completely fine, inside his body his internal organs were shaking from the shock, and his Qi flow was agitated a lot.
While there was no real danger to his body and state of being, it was still the first time feeling such a sudden shock, and he needed some time to resist it, and totally absorb it.
As he went through all this he couldn't help but be really happy with his body improvement, what he had just done was no small feat.
That could be seen by the agape mouths of the four ladies, and that look of clear disbelief on the old dog's face.
To think that this was just the beginning of his path, as he hadn't even seriously started the physical body cultivation yet.
What would happen once he did? Surely his physical body would become a vessel that would challenge creation itself.
Being reborn from a drop of blood with conscience, or being indestructible under the Heavens, he couldn't wait but to reach that stage and test those words.
But right now, he had to stop daydreaming and concentrate on what was in front of him, as another attack with the same power or even stronger was coming in his direction.
He wasn't afraid of it, in fact, he welcomed it, as he wanted to get better used to the internal shock he felt, and also on how to approach it.
if he had a few more attacks like this, then it would be perfect, as he would get even better used to the effects and after-effects.
For that reason, he was just standing there, waiting for the attacks to come, because if he would have wanted to finish the fight, then it would take him no more than another slap.
So, when the second attack came towards him, he was thankful to the old dog for not running away and finding the courage to send another powerful attack towards him.
Upon contact, he once again felt like the area around him had turned into some kind of molten lava, like he was amidst a big and powerful volcano, that wanted to incinerate him into ashes.
But no matter how fiercely the temperature rose, no matter how fiercely the flames burned, no matter how fiercely the energy attacked, he stood there like a willow tree in the wake of a tornado.
His roots were firm on the ground, as his legs didn't even move a tiny bit, as he just stood there trying to face the aftershock in a more efficient way.
For a moment he closed all contact with the outside world, as he was totally focused on what was happening inside his body, but he was totally shocked by what he saw.
Not only his skin on the outside, but even his inner skin, his internal organs, and everything inside him were showing signs of scales on their layers.
This was something that he had never thought possible to happen, even in his previous life when he reached Goodhood, there was no sign of this happening, and his dragon bloodline was purer then.
In fact, even in the records, and the writings inside the secret library of the Royal Dragon Clan, there were no records of this happening.
He could be said to be the first one to experience something like this, he was a primogenitor of his own race, as he was getting more and more powerful.
This was all nice and dandy right now, but surely, he was going to face the consequences upon his tribulations.
There was no way the Heavens would accept this bloodline and strength of his easily, as most probably he could expect his tribulations to become hell on Earth.
But there was nothing he could do about it, he would just have to face it when it came, as what he was having was a permanent strength and power, that would shake the same Heavens.
That was a tale for the future, as right now he placed all that to the back of his mind, and started having a more careful observation of what was happening.
He was stunned with each passing moment as while the scales seemed weak and really tiny, they were able to safeguard his internal organs, and especially his heart.
In fact, his heart had the highest number, and area covered by the scales. That was most probably due to the fact that his heart had been rebuilt once from his Nirvana flames.
While the logic worked he didn't really like the idea and its testing as he would have to destroy his internal organs and allow them to be rebuild.
While it seemed easy and simple to enact, the pain that would follow was surely something that might drive him crazy.
Still, that didn't mean he wouldn't try it, just that he didn't like much the idea. The benefits clearly overweighed the losses in this case.
As he was thinking like this, the powerful attack had finished, as he was satisfied to see that those small scales were absorbing the shock, and the after-effects.
One could say that the attack, and especially the inside shock, was slowly helping those scales grow, but the changes were so tiny that was almost imperceptible.
A bit sad that the attack hadn't lasted a little a bit longer, Tianlong Yun once again returned with his conscience outside, as he looked at the old dog in front of him.
The disbelief had clearly multiplied, as he seemed to be seeing some kind of ghost, or mystical monster, that he had never heard before.
He looked frightened, scared, terrified, trembling in fear and disbelief watching at the monster in front of him.
Just what kind of freakiness of nature and creation could this guy be? How was it possible that something like this was even able to exist!?
He couldn't believe his eyes, as he decided to rub them for a long time, thinking he was in some kind of deep dream or nightmare, and he had to wake up as soon as possible.
Yet the end result was the same, there was no change in the situation, and neither in the view in front of him, as everything remained the same.
But, he couldn't accept this! There was no way in the freaking hell that he would accept that something like this was possible.
He didn't accept that there was someone in this world, weaker than him, capable of confronting his full-strength attack with his physical body alone.
For that reason, he didn't hold back anymore, as he started releasing a barrage of attacks in Tianlong Yun's intentions.
Each and every attack carried the highest amount of strength and power he could muster. If quality doesn't do the work, then certainly quantity would, or at least that was what he thought.
The end result though was truly baffling, and even more shocking to him, as there was no change on Tianlong Yun, not even one of his hair threads had been burnt.
His red hair was still fluently waving behind him from the winds caused by the attacks, as his barrage of attacks seemed to be nothing more than a breeze for Tianlong Yun.
If he still stayed there after what he had seen then he would be the biggest idiot on the face of Earth, so he immediately turned tail, and started running at top speed.
He couldn't allow to tardy even one instant, as his life was in grave danger. He didn't know how that 'Master' of his had been able to do that, as it was beyond his comprehension.
But right now he didn't have the time to care about it, as he was totally focused on escaping death…
