Chapter 20 Wandering
After careful thought, he realized that it was his problem.
“After all, I’m just a new Explorer. There’s nothing I can do if I don’t know these basic problems,” Kane said shamelessly.
“Oh, I think so.” She smiled. “The Crystal Arena is a tower-climbing dungeon. There are 15 floors. Every five floors, there will be a boss room. You need to clear all the monsters on the current floor before the passage to the next floor appears. However, you can come back to rest after clearing every floor.”
Adoma scratched her goat horns, trying to remember if she had missed anything.
“That’s all. You can only experience the rest yourself,” she said after confirming that she had not missed anything.
After learning this information, Kane thanked her. “Thank you, Adoma. This has been a huge help. I’ll bring you a gift this time.”
“No, it’s my job to help answer the Explorers’ questions, so there’s no need to thank me. Besides, I haven’t thanked you for telling me a story.”
She was quite happy to hear Kane’s thanks.
“Then I’ll leave first.”
“Okay, bye.”
“Goodbye.” On the path to the rental house, Kane lowered his head in thought.
It would take a lot of time to clear the path to the leader’s floor.
Fortunately, he could go out once every floor. There was not much logistics pressure. He just needed to bring a day’s worth of food.
So should he find a teammate?
He still had to find teammates. He could also try to see if this could activate the team system.
If he wanted to clear monsters, he had to find some fixed teammates.
If it wasn’t big, he would deal with it alone first and take his time. After all, he needed to entrust his back to someone.
He had returned to his rental home while he was thinking.
He opened the door and went in. He took his luggage and set off. He would rest at the outpost in front of the dungeon tonight.
He carried his luggage to the teleportation station.
Next to the teleportation station was a ticket hall. The ticket hall had more than 10 ticket booths, each with five or six people in front.
He came to Window 3 and lined up.
It was Kane’s turn in a moment.
The conductor was a female subhuman with pink skin. There was no hair on her head. Instead, tendrils hung down like hair.
It wasn’t the first time the conductor had been sized up, and she didn’t get angry.
Instead, she opened her blue eyes and said to Kane, “If you don’t say which station you’re going to, the people behind will be angry.”
Kane came back to his senses. His stare was rude and he was embarrassed. “I’m sorry. Please give me a teleportation ticket to the dungeon of the Crystal Arena. Thank you.”
“A teleportation ticket to the (Crystal Arena] dungeon. Alright, three gold coins.”
He took out three gold coins and took the ticket. Before he left, he did not forget to take another look.
There were too many races in this world. One could see different races every day.
For example, they were two types of tiger people. One type had tiger ears and a tiger tail. They were more human-like. The other type was an upright tiger.
People generally referred to them separately. The human-like ones were called goblins, and the upright tigers were called tigermen. But this caused dissatisfaction among the real goblins.
Now, basically every continent had its own name.
He went all the way to the teleportation stone and handed the ticket to the young man beside him.
Then he disappeared into the teleportation pillar.
He arrived at the sentry post at the entrance of the dungeon.
Although it was a sentry post, it was comparable to a prosperous town.
Then he glanced at the stone tablet beside the door. It said Crystal Town.
Okay, it’s indeed a small town.
He walked into the town. People came and went on the road. Teams of explorers, merchants pulling goods.
There were also street lamps on both sides of the road. From the rust spots on the lamps, it was obvious that the town had been established for a long time.
There were also a lot of ordinary people around. One could see some old people strolling along the road.
There were also a few children in plain clothes squatting by the roadside. They were holding branches and gesturing at something on the ground. Was this the innocent entertainment of children?
Therefore, this place was not built because of the appearance of a dungeon. Instead, the dungeon happened to appear in the town.
He really did not know whether to call himself lucky or unlucky.
He had just walked a distance when he realized that there was a group of people surrounding him.
The crowd was howling with excitement.
“Go on, hit him in the chin.”
“Dodge to the right. Oh my, he’s really stupid. Does he know how to fight?”
“Harder. Oh right, harder.”
“Fight! Hurry up and attack!”
Kane used the magic plasticine to elevate himself and looked into the middle of the crowd.
It wasn’t that Kane wasn’t tall. In front of Kane was a burly man at least two and a half meters tall. He was like a wall that seriously obstructed his vision.
In the middle, two burly men were grabbing and hitting each other.
Kane looked at the goods on the ground beside him, and the attire of one of the people who was fighting.
He almost knew what was going on. The person was dressed as an Explorer.
The onlookers did not mind the commotion. They shouted crazily, “Attack!” He would have thought they were fighting in the ring.
One of them looked so excited that he wanted to do it himself.
“The patrol is here!”
Someone shouted and the crowd immediately dispersed.
In the distance, a group of soldiers ran over. They were dressed in armor and held one-handed swords in their hands. It was obvious that they were not to be trifled with.
They quickly pulled away the two people fighting on the ground and escorted them to the side like prisoners.
The soldiers’ captain looked around and almost knew what had happened.
He looked at the two of them and waved at the soldier. “Take them back. They really make me worry every day.”
When Kane saw that there was nothing to see, he silently turned and left.
Back on the main road, he began to head towards the town.
As he shopped, he looked around the surrounding shops to see if there was anything he could use. Otherwise, he would have to look everywhere when he needed to.
As he strolled, he reached the entrance to the dungeon.
This time, the entrance to the dungeon was actually in a stone house. There was a noticeboard at the door of the stone house, filled with the basic rules of this dungeon.
A few figures suddenly rushed out of the stone house. Two men and a woman were carrying a man. He must be their teammate.
“Doctor, we need treatment here!” the woman shouted.
A small figure burst out of the small building beside the council office.
The short figure made a sound that did not match his movements and said to the injured team, “Carry him inside, quickly.”
With that, he followed her in.
Kane was already shocked.
It was Crispy Noodles who just ran past. It was the little raccoon.
He saw another incredible new race.
Kane strolled around the town until he found a suitable tavern. He pushed open the door and walked in. The name of the tavern on the door frame was “Big Golden Teeth.”
