Chapter 92 - Pokemon Contest (2)

Soon Alexa, the younger sister of Viola, came after few minutes and then all of them went to the auditorium to watch the contest. They found good seats as they came early.

There was some time for the contest to begin, so Viola and Alexa started telling Serena and Vivi about the popular contestants who are participating today. Serena also got a lot of info about contest that was not available on the internet.

Soon the Anchor came to the stage and announced the beginning of the contest. "Welcome to all the people in the audience and the people who are watching us from their homes. There are contestants here who will be competing to win the Princess key today so that they can be one step closer for participating in the grand festival. All the audience who came here today will be our judge to decide who is best among them. So let's welcome our contestants who will come to show their performances today."

The first stage of contest was the theme performance in pokemon styling or pokemon fashion show. The contestants came in groups and only the best one of the group advanced to next stage. Soon Jasmine came in one group and performed well and advanced to the next stage.

"Jasmine seems to have followed Sam's advice and seems to be truly enjoying performing with Roserade." Vivi saw Jasmine's performance and said.

"Is she someone you knew?" Viola asked after hearing what Vivi said.

"We met her outside the auditorium in the morning. This is her first time participating in contest." Serena said.

"That girl is good. Although a bit ruff around the edges but considering it is her first time participating, she performed really well." Alexa also joined the conversation.

Sam just sat there and enjoyed the various performances. He just didn't know how to judge which one is better or not so he didn't join the girls talk. He just voted randomly whoever he found good.

Soon the theme performance ended and the next stage started. The Anchor came and said, "Congratulations to all the contestants who made it through the first stage and advanced to the second stage. Now the second stage is the free performance where each contestant can use up to six pokemon and make a performance in front of our audience. And the contestant who will get the most votes from the audience will get the Princess key. So let the free performances start."

There were total of six contestants who made it to the second stage. They came one by one and performed with their pokemon. Jasmine came after three contestants had already performed. She came to the stage with Roserade and Flabebe and gave a wonderful performance mainly using Fairy and Grass type moves. Her performance ended and soon the rest of the two contestants also finished their performances.

All the six contestants came to the stage along with their pokemon and stood there. The Anchor also came to the stage and said, "So now the destiny of our contestants is in the hands of our audience. Whoever will get the most votes from our audience will get this Princess key. So let's wish them luck and vote for whoever you think was the most outstanding today."

The Anchor urged the audience to vote and soon lot of lights flew out from the audience and gathered to the six contestants. Soon the voting ended and the Anchor announced the result, "After the votes of the audience, the winner of today's contest has been decided. So the contestant who won today and will get this Princess key is JASMINE. Let's congratulate Jasmine for winning the contest."
