After School, Shen You didn't go back to the coffee shop directly. Instead, she went to the nursing home where Qi Yu was staying.
As the place was out of the way, it took Shen You an hour to get there by car.
Seeing Qi Yu was reading to the elderly, Shen You quietly listened to him from the side.
Shen You was so engrossed in listening. She didn't notice Qi Yu had finished reading and was walking towards her.
"Why are you here?" Qi Yu smiled gently at Shen You.
Shen You looked up at Qi Yu and asked, "How have you been?"
"En," Qi Yu replied, "It's... pretty good!"
Shen You looked at Qi Yu and asked after a long while, "Do you want to go to school?"
Qi Yu was stunned for a moment and hesitated.
Shen You urged him again, "You're still young. You can't stay here forever, right?"
"But... I'm waiting for someone..." Qi Yu said, in a dilemma.
"Are you sure that person will come?" Shen You mercilessly shattered Qi Yu's delusions.
Qi Yu bit his lower lip slightly, looking a little wronged and helpless.
Shen You knew that she had a chance to convince him. So she began to pursue the victory. "I remember seeing a sentence which reads this way. You can only let the person you want to see notice you if you stand at a higher place!"
"You can't keep waiting here. She won't come!" Shen You said with certainty.
Qi Yu seemed to have finally been persuaded by Shen You.
His eyelashes fluttered. After a long while, he said, "But... I don't know where I can go!"
Shen You smiled slightly and said, "I'll help you arrange your accommodation and school. How about it?"
Qi Yu looked at Shen You in surprise. "Why do you want to help me?"
Shen You pondered for a moment before saying, "Perhaps, I am hoping you can help me, too!"
"Me? What can I help you?" Qi Yu looked at Shen You in surprise.
Shen You shook her head and said, "You'll know in the future!"
"Now, tell me what you think. Do you want to come with me?" Shen You stretched out her hand to Qi Yu.
Qi Yu clenched his hands. After hesitating for a moment, he finally put his hand on Shen You's. "Okay! I'll go with you!"
After persuading Qi Yu, Shen You called Xie Chen.
Xie Chen rented two houses behind the coffee shop.
Besides the one they were staying in now, the other was used as a temporary guest room. It was left vacant all this while.
Shen You told Xie Chen that she had a friend who had just arrived here and was unfamiliar with the place. Thus she wanted to borrow the room for a while.
Since he didn't have much money, he would work in the coffee shop.
When Xie Chen heard that he was a friend of Shen You's, she didn't ask much and agreed to it.
Besides settling the accommodation matter, Shen You had also informed the principal in advance about the school-related matters.
Qi Yu's enrollment could be considered to have been settled smoothly.
But now, how could the two of them leave the nursery?
In this place, Qi Yu could only leave after the sign-off of the person in charge.
When Shen You was caught in such a difficult situation, Qi Yu smiled at Shen You.
"The caretaker here is very familiar with me. It should be alright to tell the principal that I am going out with my friends for some time." Qi Yu smiled gently at Shen You.
"Yes! It should be allowed to go out at the last minute!" Shen You slapped her forehead and laughed at herself.
She was only thinking about how Qi Yu could leave this place, but she had never thought she could use such a tactic.
With that, it solved the problem of Qi Yu leaving the place.
While they were planning for the move, Shen You received a call from Huo Xiao.
"Where are you?" Huo Xiao asked anxiously over the phone. "I went to the coffee shop, but you weren't there."
Shen You told Huo Xiao about the situation.
Huo Xiao did not hesitate and said, "Tell him to pack his things. I'll go pick you up now."
Qi Yu did not expect to leave the nursing home in less than half a day.
Qi Yu hurriedly went to the director's office to sign the temporary departure application and bid farewell to the elders.
Although the elders were reluctant to let Qi Yu go, they knew that a young man should not have stayed here.
