At this time, the little girl jumped into Jiang Sheng’s sight. Her eyes were big, her eyelashes curved long and she looked like a doll.

“Look at you, how can you be so impolite? Didn’t Mommy tell you that you should greet to our guests when they come?”

Madam Bai criticized the girl in a low voice, and then she sighed as if she couldn’t do anything else.

“Bai Jiaojiao.”

The stern voice of Bai Hezhi suddenly sounded, with a cold tone.

Bai Luojiao was startled and subconsciously grasped Madam Bai’s dress.

“Do we usually teach you that way? Don’t even greet the guests?”

Bai Hezhi sounded very serious and Jiang Sheng was stunned.

Bai Jiaojiao began to shed tears. She walked out from Madam Bai’s back and said “Hello, brother.”

“Okay, okay, don’t cry anymore.”

Jiang Sheng was very flustered, then he explained, “You don’t have to be so strict. It’s okay.”

Then he winked at Pei Siyang asking him to come and divert the girl’s attention.

Pei Siyang naturally listened to his wife. He cleared his throat and asked Bai Hezhi, “We have so many people here. Do you have enough rooms?”

“Do you want to stay?”

Madam Bai suddenly asked and her face showed she would be very happy if they stayed.

“Ever since our master passed away, we haven’t had any guests here. I’ll go and help you tidy up the guest rooms. How many do you want?”

Madam Bai asked happily. She didn’t object to people staying in her house.

Instead, she really hoped that some more people could live there to make her house more lively.

“Four would be enough,” Jiang Sheng replied with a smile.

“Alright then, I’ll go clean up your room now.”

Madam Bai smiled and quickly turned back.

Bai Hezhi felt akward and apologized, “Sorry, we haven’t had any guests for long. Hope you’re not scared.”

“Come on, Madam Bai is so considerate, I like her.” Jiang Sheng laughed.

Hearing Jiang Sheng’s words, Bai Hezhi paused.

His mother was not human, it was reasonable to say that Pei Siyang and the others would recognize Madam Bai as soon as they saw her.

He was not sure about Jiang Sheng. But it was the first time that he saw someone being so nice to his mother.

Previously, when people saw his mother, they spat out saliva. Otherwise, they would want to kill his mother saying that they couldn’t leave non-humans in human world to harm humans.

There were countless words like this. Mostly were to kill his mother and not to let her stay in the human world.

However,for the sake of his father,  the other Exorcist members were afraid of entering Bai’s family to subdue his mother.

The lawful wife of Bai Hezhi’s father was unable to give birth, so he accepted his mother, who was already pregnant at the time, as his second wife and gave birth to him.

He only knew that when his parents got married, the people of the Exorcism Division did not agree, saying that their marriage was disrespectful.

However, his father liked his mother a lot and kept them regardless of the others.

The lawful wife always kept silent. Though she didn’t like his mother, she had never made anything hard for them.

He then became the victim of this willful marriage. He was born different from others, an intersex pregnancy-seed, someone who would never be able to get married nor have his own child.
