He glanced at Bai Jiaojiao and scanned her up and down, but didn’t think that she looked like him!

She shouldn’t be my daughter!

Jiang Cheng asked himself. He couldn’t figure out what was going on.

“Uncle Jiang Cheng, you couldn’t have encountered Jiaojiao, could you?”

Jiang Sheng asked on the phone.

“Yes, I have.”

Jiang Cheng frowned, being unable to cover impatience.

There were only four men at Jiang Family.

It was impossible that Bao Jiaojiao belonged to his elder brother, neither his second brother, not even Jiang Sheng.

So the chances of himself being the father of this child in front of him was up to 99%, or even 100%.

But he didn’t remember how he had a relationship with Bai Jiaojiao’s mother. He was about to break his head along the way but failed to figure out anything.

No, no, it might not be mine. If my two elder brothers had affairs and were afraid of being punished by their wives, they would never admit that they had a child with somebody else.

Jiang Cheng suddenly guessed like that and he didn’t want to be the scapegoat.

He looked at Bai Jiaojiao again, trying to find some similarities between Bai Jiaojiao and his two elder brothers.

But after a while, he still didn’t find anything similar, but came to a conclusion that this little girl would definitely grow up a beauty.

Bai Jiaojiao also kept staring at Jiang Cheng, because she just heard him asking Jiang Sheng if she was the little girl of Bai family.

She didn’t know what he meant, but she was confused.

Why did he appear here in the middle of the night like he was looking for me? Was it an illusion?

But since he found me, why didn’t he recognize me? What was going on?

Bai Jiaojiao frowned and felt too curious.

She suddenly grasped Jiang Cheng’s hand, then closed her eyes and secretly input her spirit power.

Jiang Cheng felt confused when he was suddenly held by Bai Jiaojiao and tried to escape. But he also thought it rude  to do so to a little girl, so he gave up.

However, he could sense that Bai Jiaojiao’s strength flowing in his body. Although it wasn’t very strong, he could feel it.

What’s she doing? Why is she inputting her power into my body?

Jiang Cheng was confused.

What he didn’t know was that Bai Jiaojiao was probing his memory.

At this moment, Bai Jiaojiao pictured what Jiang Cheng did two hours ago.

She also knew that Jiang Sheng called Jiang Bo because he saw herself setting lines and told Jiang Bo about her and that’s why Jiang Cheng appeared.

Turned out he didn’t know my existence, nor anything about my brother. So he didn’t lie to me.

Then why would I be born? Just like what Jiang Sheng’s second uncle said, it was somebody’s scheme?

Bai Jiaojiao let go of Jiang Cheng’s hand and opened her eyes with a hint of coldness.

She wouldn’t allow anyone to hurt Bai Hezhi.

No one, even if it was Jiang Cheng.

However, it seemed Jiang Cheng was also the victime of this incident, so she temporarily forgave him.

Why temporarily?  Because she was a little unhappy when she saw the memory of  him being with many other women.

“Rascal.”

Bai Jiaojiao raised her head and snorted.

Jiang Cheng twitched his mouth. What did she mean? Rascal?

I didn’t offend her! Why did she curse me?

Jiang Cheng’s face was very dark. He was scolded by the kid who might be his own daughter.
