“Where did you get the cells to sell? You once talked about ‘Old Master’ with Jiang Sheng and other people. Who is this Old Master?”

Jiang Cheng asked him directly and his voice became cold suddenly.

He was very solemn when talking about these serious things.

Especially his elder brother just sent him a text message and told him to ask Bai Hezhi about these questions.

Jiang Bo, his elder brother, couldn’t look on unconcerned after another person was killed.

Jiang Cheng took out his phone to show the monsters’ pictures to Bai Hezhi.

A wave of nausea swept over Bai Hezhi when he saw the tall monsters in the pictures had red eyes and slippery skin.

“What are they?”

“They used to be humans, but they have been transformed into monsters. We can’t find out their names for the time being, so we call them monsters,” Jiang Cheng explained.

Then he said, “The cells you sell belong to the Jiang Sheng’s grandfather. They imprisoned him and took his cells for sale. So after you mentioned these cells, Pei Siyang and his partners followed you to your house and wanted to find out if you had any relationship with those people.”

“Of course not. If I had known how they got these cells, I wouldn’t have done business with them.”

Bai Hezhi immediately retorted. He was unwilling to do such an evil thing.

“Do you know where my grandfather is?” Jiang Sheng splattered.

Bai Hezhi shook his head, “I don’t know. Old Master just tells me that these cells are artificially cultivated and can be used to treat illness. If I had known that they were taken from a person’s body, I wouldn’t have helped him sell these cells.”

Jiang Sheng sighed as soon as he heard that because Bai Hezhi couldn’t give him any clues.

He didn’t expect that Bai Hezhi didn’t know anything.

“Does Old Master know about this?” Bai Hao asked.

Bai Hezhi shook his head again, “I’m not sure. But I think he is just a middleman like me. He also helps someone to sell these cells. I don’t think he knows the source of them.”

Pei Siyang asked, “How did you know him? Why did you sell cells for him?”

“He came to my house and said that he was my father’s old friend. Then he asked me if I wanted to sell medicines for him because he found the Bai family’s condition was not good as before. I didn’t think too much about it at that time. I just wanted to support my family, so I didn’t doubt him.”

Bai Hezhi told everything to Pei Siyang frankly. Pei Siyang didn’t find he was lying.

“What about the masked man injured by Uncle Mo? And why did you chase that kid?” Pei Siyang squinted his eyes and asked him.

“Captain Shi is sent by Old Master to help me. I don’t know his identity. As for that kid, Old Master asked me to find the kid. He just told me that the kid had run away because he stole something.”

“That’s all?”

“Yes.”

Bai Hezhi looked steadily at him and his answer was certain.
