Jiang Sheng stopped Xi Que hastily.

“Anything I can help, Mrs. Pei?”

Xi Que turned around and waited for Jiang Sheng’s order; she was acting respectfully.

Jiang Sheng didn’t give her the order right away; he turned around and looked at Pei Siyan instead. He scratched his head and said awkwardly, “Well, Pei Siyan. Can we just… don’t make it to a grilled fish? It’s quite pitiful, to be honest.”

“It just bit you and now you are putting a word for it?” Pei Siyan raised his eyebrows and asked.

The magic fish would be killed by Lan Yuan himself if it happened to Lan Yuan. He wouldn’t need Pei Siyan to order his subordinates to do that for him.

“It doesn’t really hurt after all! Just forget about it. It has intelligence and is somehow adorkable. Would you please forgive it?”

Jiang Sheng’s voice got weaker when he asked Pei Siyan. He was probably afraid Pei Siyan might not agree on this.

“Okay, what about I give you a kiss, and you let it go? That’s a fair deal!” Jiang Sheng said that the moment he realized he could do such a trade to save the fish.

Pei Siyan was stunned because it was only a magic fish and he wouldn’t mind keeping it if Jiang Sheng wanted to. He never expected Jiang Sheng would go this far for this.

‘This little thing is a boredom killer indeed!’

“Alright then! Give me a kiss and you can keep it.”

“Really?” Jiang Sheng’s eyes lit up right away; he jumped up and gave Pei Siyan a kiss on his cheek happily.

But Pei Siyan was frowning; he stared at Jiang Sheng, “That’s it?”

“Then what else do you want?” Jiang Sheng also frowned and asked.

Pei Siyan sighed for he was so dumb to have an expectation of something else just now.

“My dear wife, that was a kiss for babies. You’ll have to kiss your husband on the lips, from now on. Do you understand?”

Pei Siyan pointed at his mouth and looked helpless.

“Well! You usually only give me kisses on the cheeks yourself!”

Jiang Sheng rolled his eyes at Pei Siyan right away and then took the magic fish back from Xi Que. He poked its head with his finger and a touch of a smile showed on his face. It seems like that he did like this fish a lot.

Being rescued, the magic fish became even more clingy to Jiang Sheng. It kept rubbing its body against Jiang Sheng’s face.

‘My master is a good guy! I’m goona have a good and cozy life being with him!’

The magic fish then rubbed its head against Jiang Sheng and even kissed him on his lips.

Pei Siyan happened to see that, so his face fell in no time, “Yep, to grill it is definitely a better choice.”

“How can you regret?! I just kissed you and that counts! A man must keep his promises!” Jiang Sheng hid the magic fish in his clothe hastily so that Pei Siyan couldn’t take it away.

But his action would only bring death faster to the magic fish.

Right now, Pei Siyan’s face darkened entirely, thunders of anger were grinding above his head as preludes of his explosion.

‘This damn fish! I haven’t even touched my wife’s body myself!’

The magic fish knew Jiang Sheng’s action was pissing Pei Siyan off, so it yelled and struggled in Jiang Sheng’s arms.

‘Let me go now, my master! Your husband is getting jealous now! I don’t wanna be grilled!’

But its voice didn’t make it to Jiang Sheng.

As for Jiang Sheng, he was looking at Pei Siyan who was having a fit all of a sudden. He then swallowed nervously and said, “Don’t… don’t come over here! I’ll scream if you do!” And he hid behind Xi Que after he said that.

“Xi Que.” Pei Siyan called her name in a deep voice with danger in his eyes.

“Understood.”

Xi Que moved away at once so that Jiang Sheng could no longer hide behind her.

“Oh crap! Xi Que! That’s inhuman! Your job is to protect the weak! I’m pregnant! You should be protecting me!” Jiang Sheng blamed Xi Que.

But Xi Que replied, “Mr. Pei is the big man in this house.”

That response made Jiang Sheng speechless.

A while later, Jiang Sheng cursed, “Is he the god in this house? Why are all of you taking his orders only? I’m Mrs. Pei and none of you guys ever listened to me at all! They said ladies first and you should treat your wife like a queen! And all of you are bullying me? I’m having an attitude! F**k it! I won’t marry you anymore!” He then stared at Pei Siyan in anger.

Pei Siyan burst into laughter abruptly because he had always found the way Jiang Sheng talked was funny.

“Okay, from now on, everyone in this house will be listening to Mrs. Pei.” He then bent down, picked Jiang Sheng up and gave him a kiss. In the meantime, he didn’t forget to take the magic fish out from Jiang Sheng’s arms and threw it away with rage.

The magic fish felt so wronged! ‘Why am I the only one who takes all the pain and damages?’

‘Never mind, I can’t beat my master’s husband now anyway. I’ll give this to him this time! And I shall get my revenge when I can slap him in the future! Humph!’
