‘Take them down! Go! My master’s husband!’

The magic fish was cheering on the side as if it had no idea what death was.

Bai Hao had probably read its meaning and rolled his eyes at it.

But then, he became serious.

‘The situation is really bad for us now! I knew they are coming for us, hours later maybe, but never this early. Is the administrator of this city really bored or something that he or she gotta keep an eye on the non-humans every day to kill the time?’

“What’s our plan? Should we fight them now?” Bai Hao whispered to Pei Siyan’s ears.

Pei Siyan remained silent while frowning, but it was not hard to tell that he was trying his best to suppress his anger.

After a while, Pei Siyan finally replied with his cold voice, “I’ll go with them. Go find Jiang Sheng with the grilled fish first.”

‘No! You are the f**king grilled fish! Your whole family is f**king grilled!’

The magic fish got worked up right away; it even spat to the side to show its discontent, but that move was extremely cute.

“Okay.”

Bai Hao understood that Pei Siyan would not go against these people. After all, they needed to survive in this city.

“Let’s go, grilled fish. Show me the way.”

Bai Hao walked out of the space with the magic fish in his hand and didn’t even look back.

The Four Elders were going to stop Bai Hao since he also violated the rules for flying in the daytime.

But the coldness on Pei Siyan’s face frightened them, so they couldn’t really do anything but let him go.

After all, they only had a fat chance to hold Pei Siyan down, even with all four of them joining their force together.

“Please lead the way, elders!”

The Four Elders cleared their throats and said, “Please follow us.” Then they flew ahead of Pei Siyan.

The humans and cars beneath them returned to the hustle and bustle when Pei Siyan and the Four Elders had finally left the sky above them.

And none of the human were able to find that the time had been frozen earlier before. Only the non-humans among them could sense the difference.

But they couldn’t figure out what happened either; the sky was as clear as usual when they looked up.

About ten minutes or so later, Pei Siyan was brought to the residence of the administrator. It was a hovering mansion that located above the highest building of this city. It was surrounded by fogs and clouds as if it was a place where the immortals lived.

And all these could only be seen by the non-humans. So, there was nothing here above this building in human beings’ eyes.

Pei Siyan frowned the moment he arrived at the sky above the mansion because he could sense that there was a ward here.

He had heard rumors about the administrator of this city that he or she had a very strong magic power, and was a creature between non-human and the sorcerer of Yin Yang, but he didn’t expect all that to be true for now he had seen the ward that had been lost for centuries right here.

Then, Pei Siyan was stunned because he heard there was the same ward at the Jiang Family.

‘Could there be a connection between them?’

“This way, please.”

The Four Elders opened up a corner of the ward and invited Pei Siyan inside.

Without any hesitation, Pei Siyan flew in and landed on a field of equinox flowers.

He soon found that there were corpses and bones buried beneath these flowers when he took a closer look at them. They were sprawling on those corpses and absorbing nutrients from them.

“That’s weird pleasure there indeed.” Pei Siyan frowned again.

The Four Elders twitched their mouths together when they heard what Pei Siyan had said as if they agreed on that.

“Oh well? Does Mr. Pei hate the flowers I grew in this garden?”

An enchanting voice of a woman drifted out of the mansion. After that, she was pushed out in a wheelchair by a maid-looking woman.

The woman had an absolutely stunning face, and there was a touch of grace within her wild, beautiful look, which made people unable to move their gaze away from her.
