Xi Que didn’t answer the chef’s question; she spread her palm instead and a katana appeared in her hands, pointing at Pei Siran.

“Don’t make me do this.” Her eyes were as cold as ice.

“Master!”

The chef rushed over, trying to save his master from danger, but Pei Siyan raised one of his hands, stopped him and told him to back off.

“You can take him away with you now. There will be people guiding you out outside.”

Xi Que didn’t even say “thank you” when she heard that. She dragged Jiang Sheng by his arm and headed out without any hesitation.

“Ouch! Ouch! It hurts! Easy! And can you go slower?”

Jiang Sheng cried behind her, but Xi Que didn’t stop walking; she just put on a cold and serious face as she kept heading out of here.

“Master, did you really just let Pei Siyan’s wife go?” The chef couldn’t believe what he just saw.

‘It took us a hell lot of effort to kidnap him here, and now we are letting him go?’

“He’s a spy sent by the elders to keep watch on Pei Siyan, so of course, we need to let him go.”

The chef was totally confused, “What? Pei Siyan’s wife is a spy sent by the Prime Family?”

‘Then why would you let me waste all that time and efforts in kidnapping him here?’

The chef greeted immediately.

Though Hei Ming couldn’t inherit the surname of the Pei Family, his power was still overwhelming, so the subordinates all feared him.

“But how can a Majin has such ability? That’s an ability owned by the exorcists only! They can use charms to hide, but it would cost an enormous amount of magic power to use that charm! How can Xi Que do that? She barely looks like an adult!”

“So, he is not a Majin.”
