The people downstairs had no choice but to comply and lined up, then the commander ordered his subordinate to inspect all of their faces with a drawing of a young man in hand.
"Who are those people?" Qian Fei whispered.
Dong Zhou quickly replied, "They are soldiers from the Tai Empire, I'm surprise that they were granted access to Thunderbolt City."
"The Tai Empire?" Xiao Yang asked, never had he ever heard of the Tai Empire in his past life.
Dong Zhou nodded then replied, "The Tai Empire is a small empire founded four-hundred years ago, but recently the emperor had passed away causing a scandal among their royal family for the crown." He paused then went on to explain, "A man called, Tai Ping managed to kill his whole family and proclaimed himself to be emperor the new emperor, unfortunately for him, his niece Prince San managed to somehow survive and escaped."
"If it is a small empire then how come they managed to gain access to Thunderbolt City." Fang Qiong asked.
"Emperor Ping is supported by the Song-Min Continent, one of the benefactors of Thunderbolt Academy, it would be hard to gain approval but not impossible." Dong Zhou explained.
After they finished inspecting the people downstairs, one of the subordinates went up to the commander and said, "Commander! There is no sign of the suspect so far."
"All of you leave this place now!" The commander yelled and quickly the people from downstairs all started to leave the restaurant.
The commander looked up and shouted, "Everyone from the second floor, get your ass down here immediately!"
Everyone started to make their way downstair but Xiao Yang quickly stopped his group, "Stay, there is no need for us to go down."
"Xiao Yang what are you doing? The guy is an S-Class." Qian Fei whispered with a panicking tone.
"In my eyes, he is just an ant. Plus this is Thunderbolt City, fighting is strictly prohibited. If he dares to lay a hand on us then he must have a death wish." Xiao Yang emotionlessly explained.
After the people all got the inspected, the subordinate once again reported it back to their commander.
"Damn it, let's go to another place. I don't believe that traitor could hide forever." The commander shouted before he started to leave the restaurant.
One of the subordinates suddenly shouted, "Commander! There are still people upstairs."
The commander looked up and squinted his eyes, "Were they deaf or something? Why ain't they down here?"
"How dare you brats disobey my orders, get all of your ass down here now!" The commander yelled.
Xiao Yang placed the teacup down onto the table, looking down at them and shouted, "Why the hell is there a dog barking downstairs?"
Everyone in the restaurant including Fang Qiong and the others was all shocked. The person Xiao Yang was talking to was obviously an S-Class.
The face of the commander turned red, he thought to himself, 'Who is this brat? How dare he called me a dog?'
"Brat, who are you to dare talk to me like this?" The commander yelled.
Xiao Yang coldly replied, "You don't deserve to know."
The commander gritted his teeth but held back his anger, he couldn't afford to offend someone without knowing their real identity. For what they know, the person could be a prince of a powerful nation.
"I am one of the commanders of the Tai Empire's army, we are here under the order of Emperor to capture the traitorous Prince San after receiving a report of someone spotting him here." The commander softens his tone a little. He then continued to say, "Could you all please come down here and let us have a proper check?"
"No, you can come up here yourself." Xiao Yang was still annoyed that his meal was being rudely interrupted by them, he wasn't going to simply let the man boss him around like that.
The commander clenched his fists, but quickly gave up the idea of beating him up without knowing the Xiao Yang's background. "Let's go up."
The commander with his subordinates, made their way up the stairs as Xiao Yang continued to calmly drink his teas. The others were still frozen in shock, some were even sweating a little.
"May I please know your names?" The commander quickly asked.
"Qian..." As Qian Fei was about to introduce themselves, Xiao Yang quickly interrupted her, "As I said, you don't deserve to know our name!"
The commander once again held back his anger, he was about to make his way out after seeing the faces of everyone, but one of the subordinates pointed the floor next to Xiao Yang and shouted, "Commander Look! That pendant."
Another subordinate quickly went to pick the pendant up and gave it to the commander, the pendant was a miniature seal made out of green jade with four words engraved on it.
The commander held the pendant up and exclaimed, "This is the traitorous Prince San's pendant! Say! What is your relation with him?"
Everyone was shocked by the pendant including Xiao Yang. When he first saw the pendant, he thought that it was just an item lost by someone so he didn't pay attention to it and just left it there, hoping that the person who lost it would come back. Never had he thought that the pendant belonged to the infamous Prince San.
"I do not know who Prince San is, that pendant was already there when I got here." Xiao Yang calmly replied.
"Brat! I suggest you tell us the truth or else all of you will be arrested for being accomplices of that traitor." The commander held his anger back till now since he discovered key evidence of Prince San being here then he must get to the bottom of this in order to capture him.
Xiao Yang coldly replied, "I told you, I do not know who you are talking about. That pendant was already here, if you are looking for the owner then I suggest you to quickly search elsewhere."
The commander was greatly infuriated by Xiao Yang attitude, he pulled out his sword to threaten him, "Don't make this difficult for us, I'll give you another chance to tell us the truth!"
"You dare pull your sword against me." Xiao Yang slammed his teacup onto the table and glared at him with his cold, deadly eyes. The commander was able to sense a heavy killing intent that caused a shiver down his spine and all of his hair on his body to stood at ends.
