Ioan looked in the direction that he was pointing at and all he could see were crowds of people walking in front of them.

The man next to him pointed again: "Right over there! The boy in the dark blue denim jacket. Let me tell you, that boy looks a bit like you when you were his age!"

After looking again carefully, he couldn't find him again: "He is gone."

He made a disappointed sound and egged his boss on: "Do you want to go see the security footage? Maybe he is your long-lost brother."

Ioan cast him a glance. His secretary was so tasteless. There is no chance of his brother being back home. He turned around and walked in a different direction.

Julien has no idea that he had crossed paths with his new family member.

He was feeling satisfied.

What needs to be brought has been bought, what shouldn't be bought has also been bought.

On the way back to the hotel, Julien was contemplating about wine that he should try during dinner.

This evening, his choice fell on Leroy Musigny Grand Cru 1969. The wine overflowed with elegance from start to finish and had a raspberry-like acid spine. He could also sense coconut, red cherries and forest fruits. The crispy lamb meat was at ease with this burgundy. His heart skipped a bear or two.

[System: Please stop dangerous actions! I remind you that your tolerance for alcohol is low.]

Julien mumbled: "I've never been drunk in my life. I have a monster tolerance."

[System: Not in that body!]

He knew, he just didn't want to admit it.

Julien closed his eyes and rubbed his temples to relieve fatigue. He didn't order the next glass.

Tomorrow is a new day.

He needs to see the city from inside, check the clubs and make some friends. Talking to System in his mind doesn't replace human relations. He's all alone in a strange world and feels lonelier than ever.

That's how Julien went to the club for five days straight.

A lot of alphas come to talk to him, but simply because he is omega. They only wanted to sleep with him. He could see right through them, it wasn't hard, they kept peeking at the inhibitor on his neck.

It seems that a club isn't a good place to make friends.

The pretty omega boy who was usually playing piano on the stage walked over to him: "Is everything all right? I've seen you these days and you are always sitting alone at the table."

Julien was instantly beaming: "Hello, I'm Julien Baume. I just came from abroad a few days ago and I don't know anybody in this city. Will you be my friend?"

Julien looked expectantly at the boy. He must take advantage of this opportunity.

The omega was stupefied: "Oh?"

Julien without wasting time began to make stuff up: "You play the piano well and I can sing around here with you. We are destined to be together!"

The boy wasn't able to keep up with him: "Oh?"

Julien was happy with his brilliant idea and asked: "What's your name?"

A few seconds later Etienne finally figured out what Julien was saying. Eyes bright, he extended a hand towards him: "Hi, let me introduce myself. I'm Etienne Emond. I'm a sophomore at A University, majoring in performing music, what about you?"

Placing his hand over Etienne's shoulder, Julien said to him: "I'm a novice singer. You can hang out with me after school and also take care of me."

Julien started talking Etienne's ear off with extreme familiarity, not at all mind that he was flying solo since the person he wanted to chat with didn't have time to say a word to him.

Fortunately, Etienne had a big heart and regarded Julien as a passionate fellow. His shameless attitude nearly made Etienne's jaw drop open in amazement.

Julien smoothly survived a week of performing. He even wrote a song before practicing and after that, he was constantly hindered by Etienne into writing more. Julien didn't expect Etienne to depend on him at such key moments.

Julien visited his new friend quite frequently. He dozed off on the sofa while watching television when Etienne screaming woke him up: "We searched hot!"

Julien was still half asleep. He yawned and grudgingly opened his eyes: "What?"

Etienne trembled and nervously walked in circles. He handed the phone over: "Look at it yourself."

But within half a minute, a scoff sounded: "Forget it. If you have time to be flustered here, it's better to put more thoughts on composing music."

Julien caught a glimpse of several comments below.

[Joe Not Exotic: I'm falling in love with this song. One is singing beautifully and the other is perfectly accompanying him on the piano. There are no words that can express their talent!]

[Snow Leopard: I never heard an omega singing this well before.]

[Sweet Mary: I like the lyrics. When I finished listening to the song I felt empty.]

Then he turned off the screen of the mobile phone and went back to sleep.

Meanwhile, Ioan was working overtime in the company. Long white fingers continually tapped on the keyboard. At some point, he got a notification. He randomly swept his eyes over the message, and immediately felt his eyelids jump.

He stared at the boy on the screen for a very long time. His mind went back to the last time he saw him, three years ago.
