Chapter 146: Remenants

The mayor bodies shovers with the violence he wishes he could express on the demons as Tyr calls him out. It is true they need to be protected from the demons but also he has to tell them what is happening in the cavernous. These caves are older than anything they built it is where the portal tree seeds are found and are the location of the last Gem Tree that is still alive on the Red Iron Island. The mayor rubs his mane-like white hulihee beard and says, "there is a Demon Den inside the caves." The words escape like a hammer to him and the others in the room who review the forums and other intelligence they have gathered on a Demon Den. This is players biggest advantage is that is basically can help each other as what is rare and unknown in one continent is commonplace in the next. Only Tyr, Apolita and Esame'el seem to understand what that really means.

Esame'el is all eyes and ears at Tyr, he is even better than she thought. He obviously saw something else beyond the desperation. Now if he handles this properly they could generate something special. Demon Players use Dens for a variety of reasons but at the same time, Beast men will always destroy Demon Dens as soon as possible.

Tyr smiles the mayor is clearly going through some stuff, he didn't even reciprocate Tyrs gesture but nonetheless he has a chance at a Demon Den. To the others, they probably think of it as another training and resource gain but to Tyr, Demon Dens are perfect sources of saltpetre which is a resource important for NPPC's. Tyr says, "how bad is it?' he hopes it small Demon Den with a low tier ranking. For now, it is about what they should be able to handle.

The mayor says something completely shocking, "It will break in the next few days." Tyr is shocked no demon den grows that fast it takes months for Demon Den to burst. He thinks this could have been the reason why Red Iron was uninhabitable this Demon Den may be connected to a quest or some kind of event. Tyr isn't really interested in those rights they will take away from Rising Reef Town. He could have already done his mission from the Merchant Guild but has chosen to put it off because he can beat that with quality instead of quantity. Right now he knows that players like Moneybags are running trying to fill the massive orders of goods each village is demanding. If they understood the purpose of this mission is to build trade routes for a business why would you only transfer raw materials and basic goods just because it is early doesn't mean you can't provide customers with a good quality product. He shakes his head the money is coming in steadily right now he needs to build a base for them so large people would think are building a moon.

Tyr says, "Do you know the tier of the dungeon." It is an event meant to be grinded daily by players.  For items, pets, blueprints and resources it should be playable at different difficulties but a rank B event of higher which this seems like tends to be on the higher end of stuff.

The mayor says, " I forbode my people from going into the Den. Getting revenge is not what my mother would have wanted our survivable is what..." The mayor's voice fills thick with grief each word is said sorrowfully. His eyes betray him as they slip a tear. Minks and the others with him all look at him with pained expressions this is obviously a loss that affects all the remaining people. The Temple Master was more than just a religious figure. She was the embodiment that a lot of people like the Mayor had taken for granted.

Murmurs fill the place, unlike the others the players are already making arrangements sending messages and discussing possibilities. Tyr has limited the number to one hundred players already. To them, it means the best of the best obviously which means a vacuum in leadership. Tyr will also not be joining in the pacification of the Demon Den. While his rationale seemed to make Esame'el smile. He will be taking more direct control to allow for them. The leaders to participate in groups but again he made conditions that baffle her. The leaders cannot be in more than groups of three, they are also allowed to solo. No than half of any chapters leaders may be in the Demon Den at once. Tyr has even placed a restriction on the maximum number of teammates to eight. Players level of at least twenty five. While tentative it limits the number of players they need to disturb from grinding and other guild activities like collecting reputation points. Esame'el wanders why but also sees the good of it if they had a guild wide announcement as she would. Almost every player from all Red Iron Island would want to go only to find out at arrival that the level limit put in by the guild is legitimate. They have already seen on Silver Grass Island streams how players who are told about still go there in person to be turned away.

Guilds Like Sunken Reef and Crippling Desert who only have some control over their Respective Islands use system restrictions to prevent any low-level player from entering an area. While this doesn't stop one hundred per cent most sensible players would understand the reason and not push their luck. Apolita who is more uncertain asks and prods as to Tyrs thinking about how and why he is doing what he is doing. The interaction doesn't last long as the mayor is watching them look like they are talking without saying anything to one another. He knows they are linked together to the Creator and that gives them certain privileges such as Divine communication and endless life.

Tyr says, "Please tell your people to move out of the caves. We will take over the defence and of the Demon Den and start raiding it immediately." This is important as they at least need a few more days for everything to settle down. A demon wave right now would destroy the people of the Island which now includes them. However, if they want to be successful try cant break the Den he can only ensure it doesn't burst to allow them to have a renewable resource.

The mayor leaves with his delegates, unfortunately, Tyr and Minks don't have time to catch up yet. They both have huge responsibilities to their people which they have to carry out. The others all look at one another.

Esame'el says, "Well done sir, not only have you made peace with them. You have secured an event that can be a boom for the whole guild." She looks accusatorily at Lelo who is brooding in the corner of the round tent. Lelo holds up her head she is proud to have not tried to kill the lion tiger man and his arrogant associates.

Boa-Bob says, "How can that be we will diverting a serious number of our strongest people to this endeavour." He can only see the restriction as a hindrance to them quickly putting it down.

Apolita says, "yeah I don't quite understand the part of why we need to limit our teams. If you can send in a full twenty-five man squad why only use eight per team."

Tyr says, "both of us are like normal gamers thinking this is just a game and endless failure has no repercussions. This is Odyessy the Demon Den thrives on lost lives making it grow bigger each we clear it. The Demon Den has to use a large amount of power to release rewards. If we let every player go in do any of you think we can clear it fast enough." nobody disagrees with him while the guild is growing at least ninety per cent of members are below level twenty-five. So of the remaining five thousand, at least half will be occupied with what they are doing already. In truth about only five hundred players are without any tasks in the guild at the moment. They will probably make up the bulk of this raiding force. This is also a great chance for those who want glory to prove themselves. The leaders also have to keep an eye out for players with great potential. Though Tyr doesn't expect much from them it will be his determination that will matter in this regard.

Apolita says, "Anyways guys I think we have other things to deal with at the moment. " She sends a message and video from Blackbeard a Naga from Black Ocean Chapter who was tasked by Styx to find out what happened to the rafts that keep going missing. The message is rather short and doesn't really say much but when Tyr sees the videos. He is barely able to control himself.
