Chapter 140: Meeting With An Annoying Fly Part Two

After a fifteen minute walk around the academy, Kana was now standing in front of a small estate. With how big the academy is, there were not only dorms for normal citizens, but in order to gain some funding from the public, there were also small estates for those families that could afford it. These estates were not bought but rented from the school for a huge amount of money. And could only be rented if the family's child was able to enter the academy through normal means. Each estate had four bedrooms along with the normal things any house would have. Kitchen, bath, living room, etc…

As they walked through the front door, the main entrance was a large room with a comfortable looking couch lined on the wall opposite the entrance. On it was a young squirrel man with three young girls dressed in skimpy clothes feeding him grapes and fawning all over him. Kana couldn't help but feel disgusted by such a sight.

"So you finally came. This young master has had one hell of a time. Now I want you to hand over the bug and strip naked, so I can see the assets I am about to devour." The young squirrel man had seemed to think that Kana had submitted and was here to give herself to him. Sadly for him.

"I am not sure if you are blind or not. But from what I can see, there is nothing on you that I would consider as being worth it to me. For one, you are a disgusting pig. Second, from the way you are sitting, I can only guess that there isn't much down below either, and third, you seem to have a misunderstanding. I am only here to squash an annoying fly. Although it will be a bit troublesome to report to Dean William that a student had lost his life, but at the end of the day, I would rather write an apology letter than deal with you showing your face all the time." Kana had a mocking grin on her face, and she crossed her arms across her chest and tapped her foot on the floor. She was getting sick of this squirrel boy always appearing in front of her, causing trouble. At first, she was going to try to get in contact with Tilia and Claine to try to deal with the issue, but it seems that she had no choice now especially now that they are sending so many people out to capture her.

"Oh? You have some big words for a slut who is about to be treated like a toy. " A female voice very familiar to Kana came from behind her. She turned to see Jasmine standing there with at least twenty men, and within that group was Kiliffia, whose face was beaten and her clothes were ripped all over. Fresh wounds were exposed with blood dripping from them.

Kiliffia lifted her head with great effort with tears in her eyes as she forced words out of her swollen mouth: "Goddess Kana, run!"

Kana's eyes glazed after seeing Kiliffia in such a state. The rage inside her began to rise as she opened her mouth and let out a ferocious roar.

*Roar!*

This roar, was as if it came down from the heavens as it echoed throughout the entire academy. Dean Williams, who was in his office doing some paperwork, dropped everything as soon as he heard the roar. "Shit!" He knew that there was only one person in the entire academy who was capable of ever letting out such a fearsome roar. "Who dares mess with our kingdom's hero!?" He went right to the window, opened it, and with a great leap jumped out of the window and disappeared.

As for the people all in the small estate, everyone was suddenly kneeling on the floor. The roar was like a signal in each of their brains that said submit or die. Kana drew her sword from its sheath and, one step at a time, walked forward towards Kiliffia. The people who were holding on to her were doing so with great difficulty as they knelt on the ground.

Jasmine was so scared that she had already wet herself as she sat on the floor shivering with her legs bent on either side of her. As Kana walked by her without even the slightest hesitation, her sword was swung, and not even a second later, a bloody line formed on Jasmine's neck. Jasmine didn't even have a chance to scream as her head slid off her body and onto the floor. This scene alone made everyone feel as if death was closing in. As for the squirrel boy, his eyes were already rolled to the back of his head, and an awful stench came from his lower regions.

Kana killed the two snake men who were holding Kiliffia and bent down, pulling her into her arms. "It's okay. I am here. No one will hurt you anymore..."

Kiliffia didn't say a word. She only let out a sigh of relief as she closed her eyes and leaned against Kana. Kana wiped the tears rolling down Kiliffia's cheek before lifting her up into a princess carry.

She walked out of the estate with Kiliffia in her arms. Only when she was fully outside, did she turn around and open her mouth: "[Dragons Breath]!" A stream of flame hotter than the sun itself flowed out of Kana's mouth, expanding into a large area much wider and taller than the small estate. In seconds the flame had already engulfed the entire small estate. There were no sounds of screams. Kana's flames were so hot that they incinerated anything they touched. This meant as soon as the small estate was engulfed in flames, it no longer existed, turning into ashes instantly. Every person inside the small estate ceased to exist from that moment on.

Kana would never let anyone touch those close to her. If you hurt those she cared about then, death was all that awaited you. She would have left everyone except the main culprits off if they had only targeted her, but since they dared touch Kiliffia then everyone involved had to die.

At that moment Dean Williams showed up and looked at the fire that was slowly burning out and the pile of ash that was left. He couldn't help but smile bitterly knowing he had come too late. But when he saw the beaten, bloodied girl in Kana's arms he knew it was justified.
