Chapter 212: Trial Of Survival/Dronic Dungeon Part 19

[Bonus Kana 5/7]

"Foods up! Sorry for the wait." Cia placed a platter of food on the table with a smile. It was only half of what Kana had the night before, but it was still a good amount of food.  She then looked over at the two girls and let out a sigh. "Lin, Lea, you two come help me in the kitchen for a bit. We will figure something out about finding you, new husbands. Don't worry. I will find you good men who will take care of you."

As Cia began to walk off, she stopped and turned back towards Kana: "Dear, eat well. When you are done, you can just leave the dish right there."

"Okay, I will. Thank you for the food." Kana smiled and began digging in. Off to the side, the guards who had walked in were now dragging out Deeder's body. As they did, another group came in with cleaning supplies to clean up the blood on the floor. It seemed that there was a job for everything in this kingdom.

After a filling meal, Kana left the inn and began exploring the town. She was very much interested in the sights here since she knew this was her only chance to check this place out. She did not ever plan to come back here. As she walked and looked around, she thought about Mary and Jill and hopped they were doing okay on the second floor. She decided one day she would take some time to visit them if she had a chance. Maybe by then, she could bring them out of the dungeon so they could live real lives.

The buildings in this city were really tall. The smallest was three floors while some went to ten floors. Each one was made of wood, stone, and mortar. Kana continued to wander around until she found a street with many stalls lined up on the side. Many people were selling their goods, from food to clothes. There were many people walking to and fro buying what they needed. Kana strolled about, looking at each stall. She did not plan to buy anything until she saw a silver chain with a small black forging hammer made out of some kind of stone. She quickly walked over to the stall. "How much?"

"Haha, welcome young lady. Are you buying something for your lover? This here is one of my newest creations. I will sell it to you for ten silver." The stall owner said with a bright smile. Kana took out the pouch the guard gave her and looked inside. She had a total of twenty silver inside. She took 10 out and was handing it over to the stall owner.

But just as she was about to receive the necklace, someone came up from behind her and snatched it out of the stall owner's hand. "Dad, look, isn't this perfect for Young Master Fan?"

"It does look nice. I am sure he will love it. How much?" A man with bulky muscles walked over with a smile on his face. He completely ignored Kana, who was still standing there with an outstretched hand. The young girl next to her was starting to put the necklace away, but her hand was quickly grabbed.

"What are you doing trying to steal something I have already paid for? Who gives you the right to take what is not yours?" Kana's cold voice entered the young girl's ears. The girl looked no more than sixteen years of age, but she acted as if she owned the world.

"Let go of me! Do you know who I am!!?" The girl yelled. Her father only now saw Kana standing there. "Let her go!"

"Or what? Your daughter just snatched the item I had just paid for from the stall owner here. Is this how you teach your children?" Kana asked. She was still holding the girl's hand. She did not dare try to take the necklace just yet since she was afraid it would get ruined.

"Ow!" The young girl cried out as Kana squeezed her hand tighter. Finally, her hand released the necklace, which Kana quickly caught. She then stored it away into her inventory so it would not be lost. She still held on to the girl's hand, slowly strengthening her grip.

"Look, young lady, if you do not release my daughter right now, I will have no choice but to use force. If you let go now, return the necklace to her and apologize. I will let this go." The young girl's father said coldly.

"Hah!" Was all she said before the sound of bone being crushed was heard and then a shrill cry.

"Ahhh!" The girl screamed as the bones in her hand and wrist were crushed into dust. Kana had used her full strength completely making the young girls hand nothing more than flesh and blood. Her hand hung there flapping about in the wind.

"You!" The young girl's father never thought the young lady in front of him would be so ruthless. He raised his hand and struck out towards Kana's head with his fist. Kana only sneered as she grabbed the man's fist and seconds later another shrill cry was heard as the young girl's father suffered the same fate as his daughter.

"Now you can share your daughter's pain. This is what happens when you let your child act unruly. I had already paid for this necklace but your daughter tried to steal it from me. She saw me standing here with an outstretched hand yet she still stole it brazenly in front of me. On top of that you had the balls to tell me to give your daughter something that was rightfully mine and also wanted me to apologize to her? Are you on drugs? Where the fuck do you get off acting like this?" Kana roared out in anger. She was having such a good time until these two pieces of scum came out of nowhere and ruined her day.

"Excuse me sir what you daughter did just now is a felony that is punished by death." The stall owner suddenly spoke up after coming out of his shock of everything that had just happened.
