The young girl moved to the side of the cage, waiting patiently for Gin to slow down enough to see him. Her eyes scanned the entire cage, but no matter how much she squinted, she could not even see a shadow, never mind the person himself. As for Gin, he was moving around the cage at top speed. It was only when he caught a scent in the air did his eyes narrow, and his lips curled up. He readied his daggers, and when the scent became stronger, he stabbed out.
"How?" The young girl looked at Gil, shocked. She had no idea how he found her. Before she knew what was happening, a dagger was stabbed into her neck and into her chest. Blood flowed from her mouth as her eyes slowly moved towards Kana, who was smiling at her outside the cage. Seeing that smile that showed no emotion towards her caused the young girl to shiver in ecstasy. She slowly closed her eyes before opening them once more. With the last bit of strength she had, she smiled at Kana before grabbing Gil's hand and thrusting her own dagger into the side of his neck. Gil had not expected this sudden turn of events. His eyes opened wide as he watched the girl slump over her dagger, still gripped in her hand, falling down with her arm. Gil gave a grim smile as he also slumped over as both his and the young girl's blood filled the cage.
"Did not expect them to take each other out. Gil really let his guard down, thinking he had already killed the girl. At least this makes things simpler for me. Kana, you get an hour before the finals rest up." The knight said before turning around and leaving.
Kana watched as the young girl and the man were taken out of the cage. She still could not understand why the girl went psycho for no reason. But none of that mattered anymore. The last man standing, Kana's next opponent, walked over to Kana and bowed his head. "Although I will probably lose, I will still fight you with everything I have."
Smiling lightly, Kana said: "Likewise."
After the two exchanged greetings, Kana walked away to find a place to sit and rest. "That crazy girl is dead."
"Serves her right for trying to kill Kana. Pitui" Naru said as he spat.
"Don't spit. That is disgusting!" Aoi yelled.
"Your disgusting!" Naru yelled back but soon regretted it when he saw the beads of water forming in Aoi's eyes. "I- I didn't mean that don't cr… Ouch! You damn water bug! Why did you hit me!?"
"Was trying to get rid of a dirt stain, but it ended up being you." Aoi jabbed back.
"You!" With that, the two ended up fist fighting in the air in front of Kana.
"Both of you quit it. And go back to hiding, or you will be discovered." Kana said while flicking the two on the head. They both rubbed their heads and stuck their tongues at each other before going back and hiding in Kana's hair. You could only hear two small "sorries" coming from behind her neck.

Yuthia Theocracy…
"Is what you say true?" The Pope's ears perked up as he leaned back in his chair.
"Yes, your holiness. Our spies have gained information that says that the dragon girl has disappeared to some unknown place. But she is not within the bounds of the Rural Kingdom." A man dressed in commoner clothes replied.
"Hmmm… Have your people fish for information. Keep watching. Once you find out she is truly not within the Rural Kingdom and will not be back for a while, we can make our move. But make sure all information has been checked many times. If the dragon girl ends up showing up while we are in the middle of our attack, things will not turn out well for us. Go now and make sure all information is one hundred percent accurate." The Pope said before standing up and leaving the room.
He walked into his study and over to one of the bookcases. He traced his finger along the books until it stopped on one titled: "The Gates To The Heavens." He pulled the top slightly before pushing the book fully onto the shield. Only then did he hear a clicking sound and watched as the bookcase sunk into the ground, revealing a stairwell leading down.
He flicked his finger, causing a ball of light to appear and hover in the air in front of him as he made his way down the stairs. The bookcase rose back up from the floor, sealing off the entrance once more. When he reached the bottom, the space opened up to what looked like a place of worship. But the statue hanging on the wall was not that of Yuthia. But of a creature standing on two legs wearing a cloak. The face was devoid of any facial features and was completely blank. The pope walked over to the statue and knelt down to the ground. He pulled a red vial from his robes and popped the top on it, pouring its contents into a small dish in front of the statue. A red fluid swirled in the dish before slowly disappearing.
"Lord, The mission you gave me will soon be complete." The Pope said, lowering his head, not daring to look up.
A black fog rose up from the statue, and a pair of blood red eyes appeared within. "Good… My time to rise once more will be soon at hand once you have control over the entire continent and soak the lands in the people's blood. The souls of the dead will be enough nourishment to allow me to awaken once more. Only then will my kind once again venture out into the universe once again."
"Lord, I will continue to work hard and wait for the day you can rise again." The black fog quickly dispersed as the Pope stood up. A bloodthirsty smile formed on his lips. "Just you wait. The day the gates to the eighteen levels of hells opens will be the day this world and even the realm of gods will fall under the rule of my lord."
