"What are dungeons?" Claine asked.
"Hmm? Oh yeah, you are young, so you wouldn't know. Dungeons are places where one can go to put their life on the line killing monsters. If you die, you die. But if you live, you may find some good stuff, from armor to weapons. And it will also allow one to grow stronger quicker. As far as I know, there has only ever been one occurrence of a dungeon on this world, but it did not last long. It disappeared a few years later. They are mysterious things." The old man answered.
"Hmm, indeed. I wish to see one of these places myself. Ahem… Back on the topic at hand, I must ask, what are your two thoughts? What can we do to overcome this situation?"
"The only way for us to push back the enemy is if we have a power that can match the devil king. Because I am afraid that even with the help of the realm of gods, we may not be able to do more than form a stalemate that will eventually break, and we will lose. As I said before, the death element should not be taken lightly. As you can see from what happened to the two goddesses, and they were only dealing with a weak devil, but the death element was still able to cause that much damage. As of now, we can only resist. My estimate still stays the same. We have about two years with the realm of gods helping us. So we should be making a backup plan now." Creige answered.
"A back up plan… I can only think of moving people to a magical realm and creating a new home… But… This is a last resort." Claine smiled bitterly at his own words. He did not wish to lose his home. He did not care about being king, but this was a place he called home. He was sure many people felt the same way he did as well.
"Even so, this may be an option we should prepare for. As for me, I would go to my wife. Where we end up from there, only fate knows." Creige did not care about anything as long as Kana was safe and sound. He could give up everything for her.

"Nergal, what are they all riled up about?" Ceilie asked as she took a bite of her food. They had entered a Fae town and were currently eating a roasted bug that tasted like chicken.
"From what I can tell, there was a missive from the Fae Queen saying that all able bodies are to gather and get ready to head to the continent of Munas to help defend against the threat of devi…. Holy shit! What!!? " Nergal suddenly yelled out in surprise.
"*Cough!* Nergal!?" Ceilie almost choked on her food from being startled by Nergal's outburst.
"Ceilie, we need to head back to your kingdom. Your homeland is under threat by a powerful foe. And I believe even the realm of gods will be involved in this as well. The enemy is not human or any race you can find on this world, but a race only found in a different realm. The devils. They are a powerful race, and even the weaker ones can easily kill a god or goddess." Nergal explained.
Ceilie understood right away that there was no time to be sitting around and quickly stood up with the stick of roasted bug in her mouth. "Then let's get going. It will take time to get there."
"No need. We can just follow those who are going to enlist. We will just tell them we are people from the Rural kingdom on the Munas continent. They will allow us to use the portal with them." Nergal reached out and grabbed Ceilie, who was about to run off. "It will be faster this way than having to take a boat."
"I see. I did not know that, but what if they say no?" Ceilie asked.
"If they say no? Do they have a choice with me around?" Nergal asked, beaming a smile at Ceilie. "As your future wife, just leave it to me."
"Who's my wife!?"

"Hah!" Kana let out an exhausted sigh as she laid on her back. Her sweat soaked hair matted to her head.
"Hehe, little girl, you did well to make it this far. Eight years. It has only taken you this long to master each weapon. Now you will put everything you learned together. But first… you will be given a break. Little one, you have the ability to evolve, do you not?" After being beaten to a pulp over and over and almost dying numerous times, Kana had survived the training with five of the six sisters. The last one, Sister Ku, was going to be overseeing her final training.
During this time, she had learned a lot. Not just about fighting but about her own race as well. Dragons were higher life forms and were seen as nuisances by many races, causing them to be feared and hunted on many worlds. Because of this, dragons only exist in few numbers on many worlds. Where some worlds have many dragons. The sisters here were brought to this dungeon after escaping from a world where dragons were about to become extinct due to the people of that world fearing them. The man who took them under his wing taught them how to fight and trained them day and night until they became masters of their respective areas.
The more she learned the more she felt bad for her own race. People of other worlds feared dragons because dragons were so powerful. When they feared them they revered them as gods but once they had the power to face off against a dragon they killed without question.
"Sister Ku, is it really okay for me to evolve?" Kana asked. She had asked this before when she first started trusting the sisters but she was told not to.
"Mm… you can now go ahead and evolve. You don't need to worry about your safety, this old woman will watch over you."
