[AN: Bonus Chapter 5/5]
The Kingdom of Stone Hammer. Its main capital city was dug out of the side of a large mountain. The size of the mountain could be compared to some small countries on Earth. Although there were small cities outside of this mountain, the main population was all contained inside this mountain. Millions of people lived in this large mega city carved out of the mountain. The city itself stretched out for kilometers. All the buildings created using either rock itself or wood. The city was not restricted to one flat plane either. It actually had six levels all together connected using massive lifts powered by magi tech. If one were to look at the mountain at night, they would see the lights of some of the housing that had windows and patios carved out of the mountain face.
The price of homes was based on the level and how close to the center of the city you were. The closer to the massive castle you got, the higher the price of housing got. And some spots you would need to be a noble to even access.
The castle itself was so tall it reached up higher into the mountain than the six levels. You could actually go to level six and look down at the huge castle grounds below. Certain parts of the castle where the royal family lived was hidden behind illusion magic and only showed a large pond. This was done for two reasons. One protection and the other privacy. While those who were looking down would see a beautiful lake, those inside would only see a blue sky with fluffy clouds.
Water and sewage were all handled by magi tech devices. The city had many pipes running from here and there for ventilation. Some sucked the air out while others pumped air in. The planning and abilities of dwarves to come up with such creative innovations was truly amazing.
Within this city, on the sixth level taking up a large section of land, a massive mansion was built. The western edge of the land overlooked the illusionary lake giving it a beautiful view. This mansion was built by Creige and took a very long time to complete. He was very particular in making sure that everything would be perfect. Just the mansion alone had a whole wing of hundreds of rooms dedicated for their children. He had also hired many staff to take care of everything as well. He wanted Kana to have a place where she could relax and do as she pleased.
When Creige and Kana first entered the grounds for the estate, she was amazed when the dark, dingy rocky cave ceiling had disappeared and was replaced by a blue sky. Even the grounds had a green lush lawn with many gardens spread out here and there. Long paths intertwined, leading to different sections. Each place had man made ponds and pavilions for people to relax.
The two were not riding in a carriage or wagon. They were just walking along the path hand in hand in no rush to reach their destination. Kana hugged Creige's arm as she looked around with a smile on her face. She realized that Creige had put a lot of thought into creating this place. In all of Stone Hammer, besides the castle itself, there would be no place that could match this estate.
"So this whole place is our home?" Kana asked.
"Mmm…. This whole area does not belong to Stone Hammer but to me. I kindly asked the dwarven king to allot me this land for myself." Creige answered. He did not mention the fact that he turned the king upside down and held him by his feet, shaking him while the king was butt naked outside the palace gates until he agreed. This all came about because the King was busy with one of his consorts when Creige arrived. Creige, not caring about the king's state of dress, asked for the land, but the king would not say yes. So he had to use a bit of incentive to get what he wanted.
Surprisingly even when the news spread, when the people heard it was all done because the king said no to Creige. The people did not frown at Creige but the king. There were even some protests outside the castle due to this. Mostly young girls shouting curses at the king for saying no to their male god.
But because of Creige's actions, he was able to gain a huge amount of land that was basically under his rule and could do as he pleased with. It could be considered a small dukedom. "Hehe." Kana giggled as she paused her steps and turned to look at Creige. She reached down and rubbed her belly gently. "It doesn't matter where we live. As long as me, you, and these little ones can be together. Creige, I grew up without a family from the age of seven to sixteen in my last life. In this life, I was lucky and gained four wonderful sisters and friends. I was able to meet a loving husband. And now, with that loving husband, I will be starting a loving family.
"As long as we are together, I see no need for much of anything. Although I still have goals to reach. I am in no hurry to complete them all. I will be heading to the north to look for the item needed to bring Lysairth back at some point. At that point, even though we may need to leave the little ones behind, no matter how many there are, we should only be gone for a short time. But I also plan to go to more dangerous places and level up. I have so much I wish to do. And so much time to do it. But for now!" Kana smiled as she put her hands behind her back, turned around, and started walking again. "I will let things go with the flow. Who knows. By the time I lay these eggs, you may have already impregnated me again."
