Chapter 340: Three Princesses

In the throne room, there were six people. One sitting on the throne and two sitting at the side. Standing timidly below was three girls ranging from fifteen years of age to nineteen years of age.

"Your Majesty, us sisters have come as envoys of our desolate clan." The older looking Princess said. Her ears and fluffy tail twitching.

Kana's eyes locked on to a certain fluffy tail that was swaying back and forth. Without any control, she disappeared from her seat.

"Ahh!" The youngest of the three sisters yelled out in surprise. She turned her head to see the young woman who was just sitting on the chair now rubbing her face all over her tail! "What!? What are you doing!?  Let go!"

"So fluffy! Just let me fluff fluff it for a while." Kana mumbled a response, not caring for the tears welling up in the girl's eyes.

"Wha!? Fluff fluff!? What is that!? Let go!" The poor girl's tears began to roll down her face. She had no idea how she was supposed to get married now!

The dwarven king sat on his throne. His entire body was dripping in sweat. The only thought on his mind at this moment was: 'It's over! It really is over at this time!' He glanced over at Creige, who sat there with a warm gaze and a smile on his face as he watched Kana do her thing.

"First Sister, save me!" The youngest of the three princesses looked at her eldest sister pleadingly.

"Ummm… Miss… Ahh!" Kana suddenly switched targets and began fluffing the oldest princess's tail next. "Wha!? Why me!? My Second Sister's tail is fluffier!"

"Ahh! First Sister! So mean!" The second oldest lowered her head in embarrassment as Kana fluffed her tail. After a few minutes, the three girls were freed from Kana's torment.

"Feel better?" Creige asked as he helped Kana sit down.

"Mmm… Still not as good as my fluff fluff but still very soothing." Kana replied happily.

The dwarven king wanted to slap this wife and husband duo! They had just caused an international incident! By fluffing the tails of the three princesses, they are now forced to marry the one who fluffed them! " Ahem… May I ask your names?"

"Ahh yes… Starting with the youngest, her name is Manta. My Second Sister's name is Banta, and my name is…. Shirley..."  Shirley replied. She and her two other sisters kept glancing at Kana with rosy cheeks.

"Wait! Why does only one of you have a non rhyming name?" Kana cut in. She had been listening to the introduction, but it just seemed weird that one of the three sisters had a normal sounding name.

"My mother named me, and our Grandfather named my sisters." Shirley replied.

"Oh…. Your Grandma is a strange man… Was he too lazy to name you two? I mean, if he wanted to name someone, at least put some effort into it. It's like you two were named by him tossing a rock on a bunch of names, and this is what he came up with." Kana really felt this way, She would never let her kid be named something so close together.

The three girls looked at each other before nodding their heads. "You have no idea! That old bastard even likes to peek at his own granddaughters! He is just an old pervert!"

"Ahh, yes. Old people are definitely perverts. I know quite a few of them myself. The best way to deal with them is to..." Kana jumped down and sat in front of the three princesses, and began whispering.

"Really? Will that work?" Banta asked.

"Mm… Then you do…. Oh, and there is also..." The four girls all began laughing and chatting away, completely forgetting why they were ever there.

The dwarven king leaned over towards  Creige and asked: "What's going on?"

"My wife is making friends. What does it look like? Are you trying to ruin my wife's fun?" Creige glared at the dwarven King, causing him to shrink back in his chair full of grievances. 'I was just asking a question, okay!?'

The four girls became friends quickly as they talked about this and that. Kana was learning a lot about their culture and even apologized for the tail fluffing. Only after about an hour of talking did Kana finally ask: "By the way, why did you three come here?"

"Well, you see… Our youngest sister Lanta ran away once again, and she has not returned." Shirley explained.

"Lanta… Lanta… isn't that the girl we found dead?" Kana asked, turning her head towards the dwarven king.

The dwarven king smacked his own face as hard as he could. He really wanted to cry! Why was this woman so dense at these kinds of things. Why was she so uncaring when talking about other people's death! This was their sister! Why couldn't you break it to them nicely!? Taking a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, the dwarven king cleared his throat as he answered: "Ahem… Unfortunately, yes. Princesses, I have sad news. Your Sister was found at a bandit camp. Her life was already gone before we found her..."

"Lanta is dead!? Are you playing with us!? Why would there be bandits at the edge of the forest between our territories!? I had thought it was strange that Lanta was nowhere to be seen! I want a full explanation on this!? Why were there bandits where there has never been any since times of old!?" Shirley was so angry and sad that she was asking the same questions over and over.

"Hmmm… Probably because all the armies of the world are lacking man power right now." Kana suddenly spoke up, causing the three princesses to look at her. Kana smiled at them and made her way back to where Creige was. "Let me say one thing here and now. What happened to your sisters was not something we could help. Although some of the responsibility falls on this king here, but a majority falls on your peoples shoulders for allowing a young girl to roam around freely without a guard. Isn't your race supposed to eb secluded? How was she able to leave your clan under so many watchful eyes?"
