Chapter 353: Troubling Decision Part 2

Currently, Kana was watching her two little angels playing with her aunties in the garden of her old house in the Rural Kingdom. Her mind was preoccupied by the what ifs that were to come.

As she sat there sipping tea, a handsome man came up behind her and draped his arms over her shoulders, hugging her. "They seem to be enjoying themselves."

"Mmm…. Creige… We need to talk." Kana looked up at him. Her eyes showing a rare serious side of her.

Creige nodded and sat down next to her. "What's on your mind?"

"Creige, I need you to ascend with the two girls as soon as possible..." Kana did not beat around the bush and stated what was on her mind. She was doing her best to hold back her tears, but Creige could see her eyes were watering up.

"I see. You're afraid they will ascend by accident and be left alone." Creige guessed Kana's worries without her saying anything. She only silently nodded, her tears not listening to her will as they rolled down her cheek.

Creige let out a sigh. He reached over and pulled Kana right out of her seat and into his lap and held her against his chest. "I had originally planned to wait a year, but if things are like this, I will change my plans. But are you sure once we are gone, you will not be able to see them until you ascend..."

"Mmm… I will do nothing but work on leveling up and evolving. Until I finally become a demi god. Only when I become a demi god can I finally ascend. If I am lucky, I can get Naru to evolve as well and bypass it all in one go and become a goddess. But finding the things needed for that will not be easy. I also need to resurrect Lysarith before I do anything as well. I know it may take me a while, but I would rather be separated from Angelica and Rain for a while than to have them accidentally ascend and be alone with neither one of us. I can only leave them to you and work hard to catch up." Kana's tears did not stop as she hugged Creige tightly.

"Then let's do it at the end of the month. The sooner we do it, the faster you can come and join us. I will protect the girls with my life. We can also have those useless goddesses look after them as well." Creige suggested. He did not like having to leave Kana alone. He was ready to go off by himself while Kana had the kids with her to keep her company but now…

"Then in one month..." Kana looked over at her two little girls, who were running around playing. A smile crept on her face as she watched them happily chasing around Ceilie.

Rain stopped running and turned towards Kana and Creige and yelled out: "Handsome Papa! Mama!" before running over to Kana and Creige.

This alone almost broke Kana's heart. Just thinking about how she was going to have to say goodbye to these little ones soon made her tear up even more. "Mama sad?" Rain tilted her head to the side in confusion. Angelica also came running over and jumped on the two of them, hugging them tightly.

Kana took a deep breath and looked at her two loveable babies, and forced a smile. "Angelica, Rain listen to mommy, okay?"

"Mmm, listening!" "Yep, listening!"

"At the end of the month, Daddy and you two will be ascending to the realm of gods." Kana took another deep breath, her voice trembling as her bottom lip quivered.

"We are going some place with Handsome Papa? What about Mama?"  Angelica was the first to pick up on something being wrong. She crawled into Kana's embrace and hugged her. Rain followed suit, wedging herself into Kana's embrace as well. "We can't go anywhere without Mama..."

"Angelica… Rain, please listen to Mama. It's not that Mama doesn't want to go, it's that Mama can't. She has to work hard before she can go to the realm of gods with you. But daddy will take care of you until I can come join you." Kana hugged her babies tightly in her arms, not wanting to let go.

Talia, Ceilie, and Nergal wall watched from the side in tears. The scene was just heartbreaking. Kana really did not know how to explain it to them so they would understand. "Mama don't want Rain and Angelica? Were we not good girls!? Did we do something wrong!?" Rain began to cry uncontrollably.

"Of course not! My babies are always good girls. Mama doesn't want to be apart from you either. But this isn't about what I want. It is what is best for the two of you. You two are demi gods like your daddy. Because of that you two could ascend at any time. I don't want you to be separated from us by accident then you two will be alone with no one. But girls, you must listen to me when Mama says she loves you both dearly. She would not want to be separated from you if it was not necessary. I love you girls so much that it hurts to even think of such a thing. And you should know that Mama will be working hard to return to your side as well.  So you must promise Mama that you will never think that mama hates you or does not want you okay?" Kana's voice was trembling so much she was having a hard time keeping herself together.

"Girl's your mother does not want any of this either. I also do not wish to leave without your mama. But as things are now we have no choice but to do this. But don't worry Mama will work hard to return to your side, so until then you girls will also need to work hard to be good girls and show her just how powerful you are. Can you girls do that for both me and your mama?" Creige finally cut in.

The two little girls looked at both their mother and father and slowly nodded their heads. Creige and Kana hugged their little babies tightly. What was supposed to be a happy outing turned into a sad moment for both parents and children.
