The woman in the blue dress turned and left the scene. She then took a few twists and turns throughout the academy before walking down a flight of stairs that led to an underground tunnel. Within this tunnel, the woman waved her hand over a certain section of the wall and then walked through it. "You're here."
"Mmm. We need to change our plans." The woman in blue said to the man wearing a black cloak that covered his head.
"Oh? I thought you were doing this so you could get that handsome man all to yourself." The man wearing the black cloak said while letting out a laugh. "You just need to do your part. I do not care about the rest. Those high gods will not be able to stop what is to come."
"That is what I am saying. If you fail, I don't get what I want, so you need to change your plans. That woman is not as simple as I thought. She is the goddess of death." The woman in blue explained. She wanted that handsome man that goes by the name Creige all to herself. Every day she could only think about that one single man. He filled her mind, body, and her soul. She must have him no matter what, even if it means becoming a traitor.
The man wearing the black cloak froze upon hearing the title goddess of death. He now realized the severity of the situation. "You are right. We will need to change our plans. We will need to do something to cause a commotion and pull her out of the city. You said she has three daughters, right? We will kidnap one of them."
"This… but won't this upset him..." The woman in blue blushed as she said this. She did not want to upset the handsome man.
"You're asking this now when we have come this far. Sacrifice a little and repay him with your body later. He will forget about it after you show him your everything." The man wearing the black cloak replied.
The woman in blue's face blushed even more hearing this as she nodded her head. "You're right. Let's do it your way. From my intelligence, her kids all go to the elementary academy. If we want a target, it would be the blond headed little girl. She seems to be the quietest one. If we bring her someplace far away, we will be able to lure that bitch out of the city so we can continue our plan."
"We will do that then! Haha! Soon the side of light will see what it means to deal with the side of dark. They will never expect that one of their districts will turn into a blood summoning! " The man wearing the black robe yelled out as he cackled. He couldn't wait to complete his life's work. And this foolish girl here had no idea she was never going to get what she wanted. Once the summoning was complete, he could easily rule over the entire realm of gods.
As for the goddess of death… He did not dare involve her in his scheme, so it was easier to lure her away and let this woman take the blame. With the power he summons from the spell, he should be able to summon a being much stronger than the goddess of death.
While one was thinking of ways to take over the realm of gods, the other was planning on how to handle her bedroom matters when she finally got the man she had been wanting for so long now.
Back on Kana's side, she was currently sitting in class listening to a lecture on the history of the realm of gods. "During the time of the God King Semeria, the Harbringer King Stolas waged war on the side of light and tried to sink the lands into the darkness to allow his blood cult to use the citizens of the land of light as sacrifices for their rituals. But the God King Semeria would never stand for such an act and..."
Dandan, who was sitting next to Kana, was slowly nodding off. Mainly because it was not the first time, she had heard any of this. She was only attending these beginner classes to accompany Kana. Kana, on the other hand, was quite attentive. Even if the instructor's voice was sleep inducing with how he talked, the topic and information she was getting were very helpful.
When she arrived at her first art class, Kana became a little nervous. She had only taken the class to try out what it was like to do something different. She sat down in her appointed seat in front of an easel and awaited her instructions. When the instructor saw everyone was ready, she smiled and said: "Now then! We will start with something simple. In front of you is a small table with a bowl of fruit. Let's all begin with a simple act of drawing shapes that match the fruit and slowly progress from there."
Kana stared at the bowl of fruit for a while before picking up the charcoal pen and beginning her sketch. Ten minutes had already gone by, and Kana was busy at work with a smile on her face. The instructor finally made her rounds over to Kana's side, but when she looked at the art on Kana's easel, she froze. "Umm… Miss Kana..."
"Hmmm?" Kana looked up at the instructor questioningly.
"Ummm… you are supposed to be drawing the bowl of fruit..." The instructor paused before continuing, "Why are you drawing a plate of meat?"
"Because meat is better?" Kana answered as she tilted her head to the side, giving the instructor a look as if she was the dumbest person in the world.
"Pfft!" One of the girls next to Kana couldn't help but let out a laugh. She suddenly felt that this goddess of death was rather cute.
"I… I see… carry on..." The instructor decided not to argue. As long as the Kana was happy she would just ignore the fact she wasn't keeping to the lesson.
