"Pffttt!! Hahahaha! That face! Hahahaha! She really did a number on you." Camlia burst out laughing, seeing the state of Creige's face as he appeared in the lab. Kana only gazed in his direction before snorting and completely ignoring his existence as she began talking with Eie.
Creige's face turned black. He snorted at Camlia and went to find a place near Kana but far away enough to not disturb her. Camlia, of course, was not done gloating, so she walked over and asked: "So you sleeping outside tonight?"

"Hah!" Yana yelled out as she struck down with her sword. Another monster was now dead at her feet. The blood that was currently flowing around her was almost ankle deep. She did her best to catch her breath, but before she could, another monster attacked from the darkness. "Just cut it out already!"
Yes, she wanted a challenge, but she did not think it would be an onslaught of monsters one after the other. She was starting to get tired. "I can't go on like this..."
Yana looked around here, trying to find an escape. Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness enough to see a few meters around here. As she saw the next wave of monsters coming from her left, she quickly shot forward towards the opposite cliffside, not daring to continue to fight. As she ran, she had to keep spinning around to cut down any monsters who were catching up. Although she herself was fast, her speed could not outrun these monsters, who were almost the same strength as her. Not to mention that she did suffer a few wounds that were lightly bleeding. She did not have the time to due to the consistent fighting to tend to her wounds. Although they were almost healed due to her sword's healing properties, the scent of the dried blood on her skin was enough to create a huge target on her back.
Yana did notice that the light wounds that she did have were direct hits on her exposed skin. While any attacks that were on her clothes were completely negated. "Seems like Handsome Papa went all out for our safety. Luckily he did, or even I… Best not to think about that right now!"
Yana took a peek behind her to see thirty monsters hot on her tail. She quickly made her way around the rocky terrain trying to make use of the terrain to slow the monsters down. She ran non stop for almost twenty minutes. When she finally reached the cliffside that led to the opposite side of where she was before, she flapped the wings on her back to see if she could fly. When Yana saw that the area above her was not bound with gravity, she quickly made her way to the top of the cliff. Only when she finally landed on the top ledge did he finally breathe a sigh of relief and sit down to rest. "Finally!"
Yana sprawled out on the red sand on her back as she looked up at the red sky. "I think I understand what Handsome Papa wanted me to learn from this test. He wanted me to stop going headlong into battle and look at my surroundings more. The cliff itself was the start of that. By being cautious and checking every aspect of my surroundings, I will see the unseen. If I had acted hastily and tried to fly across that canyon without checking it, I would have been in a bad spot.
"But I took my time instead. The monsters below were to teach me when to retreat. Two major lessons I will keep in mind from now on. I hope my other me will also learn these things." Yana sat up and gazed at the mountain peak off in the distance and wondered what else would be in store for her. But as she got up, her surroundings suddenly changed, and she found herself standing outside a small cottage in a large grassy field. "Where?"
"Good job Yana. You are the first to pass the trial." Creige's projection appeared in front of Yana. "Stay in this cottage for the time being while your sisters complete their trials."
"So you just wanted me to learn to be cautious and learn when to retreat?" Yana asked. She thought there was much more to learn than this.
"For the time being, yes. Out of you three sisters, your way of thinking is too direct, and this can lead to you getting seriously hurt if you are not keeping a cautious eye on your surroundings. When you grow a bit older, I will have you take the second part of your trial, but for now, this will do." Creige was saying this, but in truth, he had planned for the girls to try to make it all the way to the blinking red light he set up, but with how Kana was acting, he would shorten the trial this time around and let them continue it later on.
"Handsome Papa, why does it look like you were beaten up?" Yana noticed Creige's face was black and blue and swollen.
"Ahem… Go to the cottage. There is a hot bath and food waiting for you. " Creige quickly changed the subject. Yana shrugged her shoulders and went towards the cottage. Since her father did not want to tell, she wouldn't ask. She could tell this was a man's pride thing.
But how could Creige tell his daughter that he was beaten up by her mom? He still had to keep his god like image up in front of his daughters! He was glad Yana didn't push the issue and obediently went inside. But with one daughter done, he still had to wait for the other two to finish up their tests. Only then would Kana maybe speak to him a little bit more. Because right now, she won't even look in his direction!

"Eie, is there a way to get these drones to detect high concentrations of elements?" Kana asked. She was hopping that maybe with the star hopper and the drones, they could send the drones out to check the surroundings for any elements that she could use for her dragon forms. She wanted to try to unlock her next evolution.
