Chapter 457: Path Of A True God Part 2

"Aruya, what did you just do?" Kana asked because as soon as Aruya finished poking the two, they both fell into a deep sleep and returned to their summon space.

"I gave them some of my power. It was only a tiny bit, just enough to power them up a bit. The elemental empress won't evolve, but the little guy might. Don't worry. If they are your friends' family or loved ones, I will not harm them in any way. "  Aruya explained. "Anyway, you should start. There is no telling how long it will take to complete. " 

"I need to notify people first in case it takes a while." Kana did not want to worry anyone back home. Especially her babies.

"Alright. But you should do it here as this is the safest place to do it." Aruya did not know what the outside world was like, she was worried for Kana's safety. 

"I will." Kana smiled and then waved her hand, creating a portal back home. She stuck her head through to find Creige in the lab handing over some newly crafted parts to Eie. "Ah! Good timing! Creige. I need to let you know I am about to upgrade my system." 

"Oh? Did you find what you were looking for?" Creige asked.

"Yeah, I did, but I can not come fully through the portal right now, nor can you come to this place, or you might get hurt. I just wanted to let you to know I will be back as soon as I am done. Let my babies know that I am in a safe place while I upgrade. I just fear it might take a while." Kana bit her lower lip. She didn't want to be separated from her family for so long.

"Don't worry. I have set the girls up on a new trial that adds in more than just danger. Since we can't send them to school after what happened last time, I decided to add in normal things they would learn in school as well in a way that makes them want to learn. Like puzzle rooms in labyrinths and other things. I was planning to let them break every few weeks to come spend time with you, but if this is the case, it is best for them to continue on." Creige explained.

"Mmm… can you connect me with them so I can say goodbye?" Kana asked, her eyes full of hope. Creige smiled and nodded his head. He waved his hand, creating three small water mirrors " Handsome Papa! You froze time again! Oh, mama!"

"Mama!"

"Hi, Mama!"

Kana smiled, seeing her girls. "Girls, Mama has to undergo her own trial, and it might take a while, even up to a few years.  I want you to have fun and go through your trials. When Mama gets back, you will need to show her how strong you have gotten." 

"We will!" All three chimed in at the same time. 

"Mama needs to get stronger too!" Angelica knew her Mama, out of all of them, needed to be the strongest.

"Yeah, Mama! When you come back, you have to show us how strong you are too!" Rain said with a big smile before blowing a kiss.

"Mmm… Mama, come back safely." Yana did not care about strength. She only cared about her mama being safe and sound.

"Okay, girls, listen to your papa and don't do anything you are not ready for." Kana watched as her babies waved goodbye to her before nodding to Creiege to close the windows. "Creige, give me a kiss. I will try my best to be quick."

"Take your time. If you rush, you might end up getting hurt instead. I will be waiting here for you with the girls." Creige said as he leaned down and kissed Kana's lips. "Be careful."

"I will. I will get going now. Love you!" Kana waved goodbye before pulling herself back through the portal. 

Creige stood there looking at the spot the portal had just disappeared at and let out a sigh. "Hopefully, everything will be okay." Creige did not know what Kana was doing, but he hoped it would not cause Kana any harm.

Back on the other side of the portal, Kana walked over to the large bed and stripped her clothes off. She did not know what was going to happen, so she did not wish to have her only set of clothes she had on here disappear. "Aruya, do not let anyone see me like this."

"Don't worry, no one will be allowed through that door now. Since you have contacted me, this room has been sealed off by outsiders. No one can even peek in with magic. Only you can come and go as you please." Aruya explained. 

"That is good to know. I will now start." Kana opened her menu and hit the yes button to switch to the new evolution path. As she did the sounds of bells began to run throughout the room. Her body began to glow a golden color and before Kana could really grasp what was going on her entire body was encased inside a solid golden cocoon. 

Seconds later an old man with white hair and a long white beard appeared in the room. He was wearing a long white robe and a pair of old wicker sandals. "You are here. I am surprised you did not come while she was undressing."

"You think too lowly of me. I would never look in on an innocent woman. Plus wouldn't I know what she looks like more than anyone? I mean I know what every woman ever created looks like. I only came down to see my successor and to give her a small boost." The old man said.

"I must ask, why did you only want a woman as your successor? Why not a man?" Aruya asked.

"Simple. Women can be more compassionate. It is hard to find a man who would be able to live up to this. But something you do not know is that this girl here is special. Which is why I rejected that other woman and led this little one here."
