29 Forgotten young master Ye!

She heard what that deep cold voice had casually asked.

"Goodnight , brother Ye Zhen."Ye FengTian suddenly said softly, facing the man's cold observant eyes, her big amethyst ones gazed right back at him.

And she disappeared just like that, among the darkness, her maidservant right behind her as the two walked off silently towards her courtyard.

Ye Zhen stood silently, before he suddenly smiled and chuckled loudly.

'Interesting. You can keep dodging the question, but one day that facade will completely crack, and soon enough the world will know the devil in rabbit skin.'

-The next day.-

Ye FengTian was so tired. Her brain felt absolutely mentally drained as she slept all the way to the afternoon when she suddenly heard a knock on her bedroom door.

"Miss, could I come in?" It was Xiao Fei, carrying a bowl of hot steaming congee.

"En." It was a soft reply, but Xiao Fei was used to her miss's soft replies so she slowly walked in, carefully carrying the bowl of soup.

As she drank the soup she asked Xiao Fei a few of the requirements to pass the Jade academy's entrance exams.

"Ah! That's right, young Miss this will be your first year entering the entrance exam for Jade academy! Well, the subjects tested will be, woman's etiquette, dancing, art and maths, an additional girl'sentrance exam has been added in for archery this year as well."

Suddenly hearing Xiao Fei's list of testing subjects Ye FengTian's face was very forlorn looking.

'Except for maths and archery, the other subjects mentioned....' Ye FengTian silently brooded over the upcoming torture as she got dressed and ready to head out to the imperial palace.

The master and servant soon arrived at the front of Ye Manor where they met an old acquaintance, it was the carriage driver from last time.

His old eyes seemed to waver with fear when it gazed at Ye FengTian.

When Xiao Fei saw that, she felt it was strange, she then glanced at her Miss, lowering her head, she decided not to ask her about it, after all she was just a lowly maid servant.

Ye FengTian greeted the members of the Ye Manor, greeting respectfully to the matriarch and nodding slightly to her half sister.

She glossed over her step mother who had a look of terror as her eyes lowered themselves to the floor.

Ye Zhen had a amused smile on as he watched this unfold like watching an entertaining show.

Ye FengTian didn't brother with Ye Zhen, and everyone else in the Ye Family didn't seem to notice her lack of greeting to a particular family member, perhaps they were too preoccupied with the event of today.

It was an imperial exam and ball after all. It definitely wasn't simple.

The sun was fully up now as the line of carriages with banners of the character 'Ye' on them lightly swaying in the wind as it caught many gasps and awes of admiration from the common citizens of Wang Kingdom.

The eunuch noticed the quickly arriving carriages and calmly greeted the matriarch of the Ye household, directing him and Ye FengTian's father towards the entrance line towards the palace and asking a maid to direct the young Miss's to the entrance exam line for girls.

As the carriages emptied, suddenly a loud and crazy shout sounded behind one of the carriages.

It was a youth no olderthansixteen wearingflowery bright red robes with his hair tied back in a long slick ponytail, his eyes were large and his lips were pouted, looking very much like a wronged handsome young master.

"How could the Ye family do this to me! Just because I was a little sick before doesn't mean you guys should just leave me at home and forget about me! I would have missed this years entrance exam again if I hadn't been quick enough to catch on of the carriages heading to the imperial palace!"
