She walked to the passenger seat, while he gently opened the door. Placing his hands above the door hood for fear that she might accidentally bump her head on it, he let her take a seat.
He sat on the driver's seat as well.
His action made her smile, and she softly said: "How do you know that I will be leaving this early?"
'My husband is just perfect' she thought.
"I was worried about you, so I came to take you back," Vivan replied. He paused briefly then asked with concern: "What happened there? You didn't stay for long." It was merely 10-15 minutes that he had dropped her at the hotel and he saw her standing outside the gate.
"I didn't feel well and vomited a bit," Ira said and made a pitiful face.
"Ohh! Are you okay now?" Vivan looked at her and asked while caringly brushed her cheek with his hand.
"Yes, husband." She kissed his cheek.
Vivan was still shocked by her sudden kiss. But how could he not return the favour? He kissed her as well. A small shallow kiss on her lips that carried warmth.
With his affection, all her insecurities vanished. She held his arms in her arms tight, she placed her head on his shoulders.
Seeing his wife, Vivan's eyes became warm, placed his arms around her shoulder, he gently patted her face.
This series of actions was so perfect that it looked undoubtedly a happily married couple to anyone looking at them.
Steve was the observer. He came out of the hotel following her so that he can talk to her but just as he saw her a car stood before him and he saw Vivan.
Vivan was his client for the new case he was working on. From a single meeting, he liked that man who left his first impression as being smart, decisive and Cool.
Yet seeing him with Ira,his heart pained.
His eyes were on them till the car got smaller and smaller and completely disappeared from his sight at the corner of the road.
In the car, Ira was still lost in her thoughts.
As far as she remembered, she was a loner all her life. A quiet kid from the beginning, contrary to her cheerful brother.
Her entire childhood focused only in studies and books. Even in her teens, she didn't want to waste her time entangled with people.
There were many complicated feelings she didn't want to be caught by. Like friendship, Love.
Those emotions of Love were always confusing for her. So even when she saw people around her falling in love, she was never interested.
Not willing to hold hands with someone, let alone sharing a kiss.
Yet everything changed when she met him. He became her boyfriend so easily. She let him enter her heart only for it to be crushed. However, she carried no complaints, having already forgiven him in her last lifetime.
It has been around a decade since the last time she saw him. 10 years ago, Ira was still in high school when she first met him.
