Out of their ward was a man leaning on a bench. He attracted the attention of many with his perfect sculpted facial features and the shaggy hairstyle. Those who passed by sent curious glances at him.

The whole person looked youthful and energetic, but right now the world didn't matter. It was the most important moment of his life. Immersed in his phone, Ashay had one leg blocking the door to Vivan's room. In fact, the weird posture in a hospital was what caught everyone's mind.

He was so close to making a new solo kill record in his game — PUBG when a pair of black boots fell in his sight.

"No entry" he said, not even looking up, he continued to play the game.

He was guarding the door keeping his word with devotion. How would he know that the boots would hit his legs the next instant?

Yet the pain in his legs didn't matter.

"No...No...No" he yelled moving his hands in swift moments. He tried to salvage the situation but couldn't.

"I died..." He sighed. A moment of distraction caused him a life. His record was left to be unoticed because of the untimely death of his character.

"Oh!Poor you!" A soft sarcastic, voice fell in his ears. She smirked.

"All because of you!" he stood up and pointed fingers at her.

The next second the hand pointing at her went soft. It hanged by the side and the phone slipped to the ground.

"Thud" The phone that was his world a moment ago now didn't matter.

The Fairy from heaven made a way to his lands. Violin strings played in the background.

Finally!

He saw her!

She wore a pair of knee-length black boots and an oversized grey Tee.

"Red?" he mumbled. A dumb smile appeared on his face.

A sharp snap bought him back to reality. "How are you here? Red? How do you know...?" her nickname. Then again he called her Red that night too.

Reeya cleared her throat. "I've got in wrong room.

She saw the man, dignified sitting with his leg stretched up like a lazy lobster. Is this the way to sit in a hospital? Before she could stop herself she had already turned to kick his leg.

Now that she saw him, Reeya turned around to leave.

"Wait." Ashay held her wrist.Like an unconscious action, the moment his hands touched her, she twisted her hand.

Pain... pain is all he should have felt but surprisingly it didn't matter.

"Ira?" he said rubbing his wrists. The smile still hanged his face. It froze on some thought. He shouldn't scare her away with his overwhelming emotions, that's what Ira advised him.

Reeya stood confused before making out sense. "Are you Ash?"

"Yes," He couldn't have predicted; her confused appearance soon got replaced with a calm bright look.

"Ira and Vivan are fine. But we shouldn't disturb them now. " Ashay said.

"Oh! Are they .... ? " Reeya had a sly smile as she bit her lips. The word kissing held on her lips wasn't hard to predict from her expressions.

The girl was unrestrained. Is she really Sis's friend? Her soft voice echoed in her ears. It immediately awakened him. So straightforward? A glimmer sparkled his eyes.

Then disappointment crept in his eyes, Didn't she remember him?

He imagined countless looks — confused, surprise, embarrassed, frightened. The girl's reaction was beyond his thought.

Why was she so calm?

Now, did it matter?
