In the hall, the banter continued. She found Dad with scissors, "This paper deserved to be framed."
He cut through the article carefully and packed it carefully in a box.
"Wait! I didn't read!" Ira said.
"We got others." Her eyes fell on the direction he pointed. There was a bundle of the same magazine.
"Dad, Why did you buy so many?"
"I'll send to my friends and relatives." He had a proud smile. "Oh! We can distribute in office staff. I should buy more."
"No more Dad." That would be so embarrassing.
"You have to follow your sister's footsteps kid." He said pointing at Ashay.
"He got his own path to go. My brother will take the company to new heights." She ruffled through her brother's hair.
If it was past Ira, she would have instead listed all the mistakes Ashay made. Instead of encouraging that would have depressed him further.
Well, It's true if you label a person as 'incapable' and call him that every time. He would never try to change.
'Anyway, I'm incapable.' With the though they bury themselves deep.
She looked fondly at her baby brother. Ashay moved closer to her. The moments of warmth were rare.
Assessing her carefree spirit at this time, Ashay brushed her stomach, "Babies, you see the injustice. You have to come out and fight for Uncle."
"Don't teach them bad things."
It didn't stop him from touching her stomach from time to time.
----
At night,
In Ashay's room, Ira showered and carried out her routine night skin care. All these she did absentmindedly.
Vivan who was lying on the bed, glanced at her, "Something wrong."
"Ira does not like Vivan at all?"
"Vivan is really pitiful."
"She doesn't deserve a man like Vivan."
The words of those ladies echoed in her mind. Maybe she was tired as soon as she closed her eyes, she slept.
She saw a man and a woman walking towards her. The woman's head rested on his shoulder, she held his arms tight.
The man had a radiant face which matched with the girl's dove appearance. His gentle and affectionate eyes were on the woman.
Why is this happening? Ira stood paralysed staring at them.
When they walked and came across her. The man glanced at her, his eyes changed but it soon restored to calm and he walked away like seeing a stranger.
Ira held his hand. "Viv" she cried.
