1 The Beginning

HEY WATCH OUT!!!! *bam* as I was flying in the air I thought about how it ended up this way.

It was not always this way, the loneliness the crushing feeling like something was missing. Always wondering around on the streets looking for my next meal. Where had it all gone wrong? That damn bastard. It was his fault and ironically, it was mine too. You must be wondering who I am.

My name is or was Slide Marway. I was 45 years old when the serial killer who killed many Main Characters got me too. I was always an avid follower of the supernatural and the paranormal with an obsession to anime and manga as far as I could remember.

I was also an orphan and had some communications problems which made me the weird kid who was by himself and fumbled when talked to. I had some friends who helped me with that at some points in my life and with them that I grew comfortable talking to people.

As we grew older, they left to find their purpose in life and as they left, I started being by myself. I also started to become cautious of people and I did not know why. I theorized that it was due to some event in my past life and I believed that because I was the supernatural guru. As I also grew older I made new friends though the bonds I had with them were not as strong as the ones I had with my old friends my old friends.

I got through school as an average student cause my attention was not there. Most of the books I read were of the fiction kind, never really payed attention to class and somehow managed to muddle my may to university and finishing it.

I began to spend the days after school on researching the supernatural and the paranormal trying to find evidence that they existed.

Me and some of my friends decided to start our own investigative squad. After some months, everyone startedbeing busy so they all left one by oneuntil me, Andrew and Lanly were remained. Then, Andrew also disappeared. I thought he was one of the ones left without telling anyone so I didn't bother to follow through with him.

Five Months Later:

I was sitting at the nearest coffee shop that night looking on SP, SV, RRL, QI, QQ for these authors to update their stories when, one of the sensors spread throughout the city started pinging. I quickly checked the app on my phone for confirmation and rushed back to the office the squad rented.

Slide: Hello, Lanly where are you? I asked with excitement in my tone

Lanly: I'm at home, Why, what's wrong?

Slide: Dude they exist, you hear me they exist. One of the sensors started pinging.

Lanly: Which one?

Slide: The one above smokeway, near the theater. I'm going over to check you coming.

Lanly: Yea yea, go I'll meet you there. *ends call*

Lanly: *calls another number* It's me, one of the sensors rang meet me at ...….

????: I'll be there is it already time.

Lanly: Yes. *ends call* sorry about this. He whispers to no one.

Slide POV:

It was a special night I had found evidence on the existence of the supernatural or at least I thought I did and I was going to show the world. I thought of all the money I would make and how my name would be attributed for making the discovery that we are not alone.

Let me tell you, hindsight is a bitch and the fact they were hiding originally should have clued me in and pointed out that they didn't want to be known to the public.

I really should not have trusted him even though we went way back to the orphanage. I should have been at least wary but, considering he helped me back in the day and he was one of the few that contributed money to the group. I thought he'd be trustworthy.

As I lay down here with a gun to my face about to die,

Slide: Lanly, why!!!! I shouted to his face, I thought this was what we started the this for. If you didn't want me to find out the existence of them, why did you not stop me?

????: ....8, hurry it up the boss is waiting.

Lanly: For what's it's worth, I'm sorry Slide. You got too close to the truth.

Slide: Answer me *puking blood * damn it!

Lanly: ....The Gov...… *bang*

????: *bang* That's why we don't get close to those we are monitoring. But, he sure was impressive almost figuring out the truth. Well, we're done here let's go A0768 the mission is over.
