The enchantments of the Goblins may not be that complicated compared to others but once they are removed, their connection to the Arcane World will dissipate as well.
It means that once an Awakened entered an Arcane World while carrying it, this object would disappear in the void and wouldn't be accepted in the Arcane World at all!
Unless someone placed another enchantment, it would be stuck in their world.
"Have you studied enchantment, Sir Ulf?" Cyril asked.
The old man shook his head before answering.
"I have seen too many of them and they are too mysterious for me. It's difficult to study them alone. I only managed to know five of them with series of luck and coincidence."
Ulf then stood up. Without asking for Cyril, he served him some snacks and a cup of tea… Of course, Cyril didn't decline as he thanked the old man.
They continued chatting for a while as Cyril wanted to make sure that Ulf understood the task completely without him being too pressured.
"I still have a lesser healing potion with me, Sir Ulf… You can have it." Cyril then brought out one of his potions from his bag. This is the one he is keeping for emergencies. He wanted to deepen his relationship with this old man so he decided to just give it to him instead. After all, this may also be the reason why he agreed to meet up with him.
Aside from that, he would have to rely on this old man to make him S-Rank Artifacts in the future.
Anyway, giving a single potion wouldn't affect his current savings, he had seen more life lace flowers in the shop so he can make more potions if he wanted to.
"You're so generous, Cyril… I guess the younger generation of the Arcane Explorers would become lively again."
"You are praising me too much. I was just lucky to get these potions."
"Hehe… I understand… But you can't leave here empty-handed, you mentioned that you are a B-Rank Hunter. Hmm… I have a few trinkets here that may suit your taste, you can select one of them in exchange for the potion.
Cyril was of course happy as he didn't expect that he would be able to get one of his creations today. Captain Arvid and Valerie would definitely be shocked if they learned about this.
He didn't decline as he excitedly waited for the old man who went to his storage room.
The Old Crafter's creation is the best in the current era and also in the future… He didn't want to miss such an opportunity!
It didn't take that long as the old man brought his small stash of Artifacts.
It appears that the B-Rank Artifacts he created weren't weapon-type but equipment-type Artifacts. Most of them were life-saving Artifacts even. This is such a good collection!
Cyril could immediately feel that stunning Aura coming from the items…
'Ugh… Should I reveal that I'm actually an S-Rank so he'll give me an S-Rank item as well?'
As soon as he thought of this, he just shook his head as it was too ridiculous. S-Rank Artifacts weren't some cabbage that can be picked up so easily.
If he's not mistaken, within the Republic of Veprus, the S-Rank Artifacts that were known shouldn't be more than four!
They are treated as national treasures and no one is actually owning them.
Even in his previous life, any S-Rank Awakened doesn't mean they could own an S-Rank Artifact. These Artifacts are too dangerous not only against the Magical Creatures but also to mankind.
There was no way that these Artifacts would just be pocketed by an Awakened. They are normally being kept by whatever organization they belong to.
"Alright, go ahead and pick one."
"I'll take your offer then, Sir Ulf."
Cyril smiled as he started checking each crafted Artifacts…
They were bracelets, necklaces, rings, small orbs, discs, and various trinkets…
'So much good stuff... Does he have an Arcane World filled with precious materials? How can he make all of this?'
Cyril was astounded as soon as he noticed that all of them possess the same powerful Aura!
There's a total of twenty B-Rank Artifacts here! How rich!
Although they aren't weapon-type, pieces of equipment like these would still be sought after by many guilds!
Of course, he didn't want to embarrass himself so he forced himself to act calmly.
Then, he thought of something...
"Sir Ulf… These items are all amazing… I can feel the Aura coming from them aren't so simple. But I wonder, do you have something that I could use to increase my Luck… I mean, lucky charms?"
Cyril probed which made the old man surprised…
"Hmm… Let me see. You're quite interesting, young man…" Ulf stood up and returned to his storage room without asking Cyril about his preference.
There aren't many Awakened who believes in luck or superstition after all. No one thinks that they could affect any Arcane World exploration.
Of course, during the many years of exploration, many people tried using these items they believe to have some sort of luck but ended up without any fruitful result.
If he could remember correctly, luck treasures similar to fortune lanterns, lucky coins, fate-inducing bells, and many others had been popular in the Marketplace more than a decade ago. However, because none of them had visible effects, these items slowly disappeared in the market and were completely forgotten.
Only physical shops like the one in the Ascension Tower would sell Lucky Charms to attract those new Awakened who weren't aware of the truth. In short, most of the lucky charms being sold are just scams nowadays.
In the first place, it's difficult to appraise them so the buyers could only grit their teeth once they realized that they just wasted their money.
Anyway, this case wouldn't be true in the future!
Apparently, the Luck Treasures that have appeared weren't just strong enough to affect another Arcane World including Earth aside from the world it originated!
Soon, strong luck treasure at the Rank-B and Rank-A would appear…
'Wait… Was it Asta? There should be an S-Rank Awakened with Luck Treasure…'
Cyril suddenly recalled Asta's figure. He saw her once after running out of the Ascension Tower as soon as she won the Poison Detector Stone.*
'Ugh… I couldn't recall clearly. However, if she was really the one, that would explain how she won that gamble.'
He mused while waiting for Ulf.
Soon, the old man brought over a small token.
